Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance.(original for 'substance' is 'confidence' and 'standing under' or a standing sure of the promises of God; if you are 'standing sure', you have faith; and 'substance' is that you have it, it's about one possessing something, here meaning that he or she is positive, absolutely sure, that he has something as yet to be seen on the Earth, that is, he has faith it's for sure and on the side of, that is, aligned with the light bringer and off and away from the dark side).of things hoped.(you hope for, you look forward to, your desires and your good longings for self and the world (John 3:16,17) are God working in you).for, the evidence of things not seen.

Original."faith is the assurance, the confidence of things not seen". That is, the 'not seen things' being that which is expected and for sure, as the original connotes. Faith equals the assurance that what your mind is settled on is true. If you have it in mind, you'll have it in life. But when? Faith then is the evidence that what you don't yet see, is as real as if you did see it. This sureness of mind is evidence. This is faith. And what are the 'not seen things'? They are the Divine.promises.

Barnes Notes: That is, it is faith which gives reality to things hoped for and a certain persuasion to the mind of the existence of those things which are not seen.

Hebrews 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Hebrews 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

The Bible in Basic English has it."For by it our fathers had God's approval", meaning that they were in sync with God's higher consciousness ways; God's Word Version Bible has it."God accepted our ancestors because of their faith"

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we come to the truth, knowing that the worlds.(original adds 'throughout all time').were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice.(Genesis 4:1-7).than Cain.(with Cain, it was just something he had to do and with Abel it was done with great appreciation and feeling toward God), by which he obtained witness that he was righteous.(why was Abel's thank offering accepted by God and Cain's wasn't?.Genesis 4:4-6), God testifying of his gifts. And by it he being dead yet speaks.(1Corinthians 10:11).
"God testifying of his gifts...".God was recognizing that Abel was of the humanity God created and Cain wasn't. Cain was a genetically modified concoction of the satanic line of modifying humans into a different creation called mankind, that is 'kind of like man'.-.1 and 2 on it. Satan wanted also to be a creator and so Eve was bewitched into allowing those beings back then of the satanic side to remove and then alter the growing embryo. Satan always has been a counterfeiter. Consider what satanic minions have done, for only one example, to the money system.

The lives of Cain and Abel.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found because God had translated him. For before his translation he had this testimony.(original 'he bore witness', that is, he was exemplary, that is, he had lived his life a certain way).that he pleased God.
Re word."translation". Fausset's Bible Dictionary:."The word 'translation' implies a sudden removal from physical life to eternal life without death (1Corinthians 15:51-55) of whom Enoch is a type."
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith.(having faith in God is trusting God).it is impossible to please.(original is 'to be well off and prosper' or to see what you have imagined come to pass, or to be in sync with what the Creator is).him.(word 'him', not in the original text; means, without faith you just cannot be in alignment with the same mind {Philippians 2:5} the Creator has);.(but why is that so that without faith you can't 'please' him? It was just the best way they knew back then to explain the connection through our DNA 'aerial' that we can make with the Infinite Spirit).for he that comes.(original 'to have motion to the advantage of', 'motion with regard to'; that is, uses what God has set up for prosperity, health, etc., the good things, but how is it that we come to this, how do we each get to actually come to God?.Matthew 11:27).to God.(the Intelligent Energy).must believe that he is.(original for 'he is' is 'to exist', 'to happen', 'to be present' or, that it's real, it's an absolute truth, that faith indeed does exist and that it's set by the laws of the universe by this Great Being {so it's also important to know God is real} and that it's so sure, it's as if it's present with you now {thanks to He who set it all in motion:.Ephesians 3:9).and that he is.(original here for "he is" is that 'it is to come into existence in order to receive', or, so it can be received by you).a rewarder.(original 'to pay or give in exchange for, as a worker receives pay for his efforts' or, 'a reward for your efforts', here applied to the workings of faith:.James 1:3,4,7).of them that diligently seek.(original for 'of them that diligently seek' is 'enquire into':.2Chronicles 15:2).him." But, what if I don't believe God exists? How to diligently seek God.

So to paraphrase the verse from the original:.'Without faith it is impossible to be continuously healthy.(does the Creator ever get sick? Does the Creator believe in death? No!), well off and prosper, to have a connection with the Energy of the Invisible One, the for he that uses what God has set up for prosperity, health and all the good things, must believe that it's a reality, that it's an absolute truth, that it indeed does exist, that it's as good as done and that it's set by the laws in the multiverse to always work this definite way in order for it to come into existence in.your.experience on Earth, an automatic payment as it were for your efforts in producing what you want, because you found out that or came into the knowledge of, a way to make these automatic laws work for yourself.'.(that is, the universe has been set with laws that you can use to improve your life in all areas of your concern); accepting this as true and of importance to you is faith and it gets you something:.Matthew 21:22.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by the which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Condemned the direction the world was going in by his example of a better way and by his example provided a choice so they now could see two ways, including the way of a better, higher consciousness. Condemned the world in that he believed (accepted as true) God about the flood that was coming, while others around him from far and wide laughed and mocked him for action he took to build the ark, which was an action out of faith, because he could see what was coming, believing it would. Because of what came to his mind.(*), he believed it was from God and no doubt Noah could see what something had to be done, just by looking at all the corruptness around him:.Genesis 6:12.

The gift of righteousness of which Noah was an heir, would come with Christ.

Hebrews 11:8,9 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.

Hebrews 11:10 For he looked for a city.(original is 'a place prepared for them by God'; what is this spiritual place today?).which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength.(faith is where strength comes from).to conceive seed.(but she had a struggle with her attitude:.Genesis 18:11-13).and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Lesson for us is to believe in the Creator's promises:.1Corinthians 10:11.

Hebrews 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith not having received the promises but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of them and embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the Earth.
Hebrews 11:13 These all died.(original for word 'died' here is 'separated from their dead bodies' that is their souls passed on).in faith not having received the promises but having seen.(John 20:24-29).them afar off and were persuaded.(they trusted and had confidence in those promises).of them and embraced them and confessed.(knew in their heart, they're here for a short time:.James 4:14; they were cognizant of the fact of their purpose on Earth).that they were strangers and pilgrims on the Earth.(only here to learn and leave, unless one chooses.{*} otherwise, but why would anyone choose any other way to live.{*}, unless they were nuts?).

We are only here to move from here, but selfishly greed minded people don't comprehend this, their minds immobilized by the concerns of the self in the physical life only.

John 20:29 "...blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed.".
Romans 8:23 "...we ourselves groan within ourselves waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body."

What's it mean to be a stranger and a pilgrim on the Earth? It means one's citizenship is in heaven, beyond the physical things which make up this world. It means that those 'seeing' or knowing the invisible beyond {1Corinthians 2:9} are sojourners here on Earth, as would be travelers to a foreign land:.Philippians 3:20; Ephesians 2:13,18,19; 1Peter 1:1; 2:11.

Hebrews 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Hebrews 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country.(word 'country' in this verse, is not in original).from whence they came out.(where was it that they and all of us came from?.2Timothy 1:9; that is, had their mind on that they came from God), they might have had opportunity to have returned.
They had their mind on leaving the Earth to be closer to their Creator, not on returning to a physical location they came from. They sought the invisible things of God:.Hebrews 13:14.
Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly.(so, what's this verse 16 here about? see verse 13 just above). Wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God. For he has prepared for them a city.
Hebrews 11:16 But now they.(who are 'they'?.Hebrews 6:9).desire a better country.(Philippians 3:20), that is, an heavenly.(Hebrews 12:22). Wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God.(or, such are they who are not ashamed to be of God). For he has prepared for them a city.(original is 'a place prepared for them by God'; verse 10 above).
Hebrews 11:17-24 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac. And he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called. Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel and gave commandment concerning his bones. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child.(had special qualities; what if you don't? Well, you can ask God for them:.1Corinthians 12:31).and they were not afraid of the king's.(which king?).commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
Moses put the things of God first. He didn't hide behind his high position of authority gained in Egypt, where he was regarded as one of their family, so to speak.
Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.

Hebrews 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt. For he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Hebrews 11:27 By faith he.(Moses, verse 24).forsook Egypt not fearing the wrath of the king. For he endured as seeing the invisible..(as the original Greek has it)

Hebrews 11:28 Through faith he kept the passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land, which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

Hebrews 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

Hebrews 11:31 By faith the harlot.Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

Hebrews 11:32 And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon.(this is the New Testament Greek spelling of the Old Testament spelling of Gideon).and of Barak and of Samson and of Jephthae, of David also and Samuel and of the prophets.

Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Barnes Notes: As these did with the lions they encountered, Samson:.Judges 14:6; David:.1Samuel 17:34; Daniel:.Daniel 6:7.
Hebrews 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Barnes Notes: The aliens were the invading Philistines, Ammonites, Moabites, Assyrians, etc.
Hebrews 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
Many back them remained true to God, refusing to be part in any way of the works of Satan, because they knew that they would be back again:.1John 3:8; Hebrews 11:3.

Original means 'better in the sense of more powerful' and this equates to a better reward..(?)

Hebrews 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment.

Hebrews 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
And this happened for centuries up until recently, when it all went hidden.
Hebrews 11:38 Of whom the world was not worthy.(the world {Revelation 18:4}, the 'normies', the societal members, the social climbers, the so-called.elites, consider such as these as being inferior, considered as being the offscouring of the world they live in:.1Corinthians 4:12,13), they wandered in deserts and in mountains and in dens and caves of the Earth.

Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith.(they knew God was both real and that God was good and so they trusted in that and trusted in their reincarnation; that was their faith), received not the promise.
Barnes Notes: That is, they did not receive the fulfilment of the promise or did not receive all that was promised. They all still looked forward to some future bliss because of what they were promised and they believed it.(*). And one big promise they fully knew about was resurrection. They knew if they physically died, they would be back again:.Psalms 17:15. Listen to the words of the Highwaymen song.

Hebrews 9:15; 1John 2:25.

Hebrews 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
Hebrews 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

And closer to the original: 'God having provided some better thing, that we all (none left out) would be in the timeless oneness of God's perfection':.1Corinthians 12:6 "And there are diversities of operations but it is the same God which works all in all."

God is perfecting all who are of good heart and those having potential to be. What does this perfection mean?.Luke 2:52.

That is, none of us would be left out of God's plan of salvation for all.

The way to be in sync with the Creator was to later come through Christ. It's in Christ.that we are all one.
