-Fast flood:.From CRI.(equip.org):."The fossils actually show signs of rapid burial, not slow and gradual processes as most people believe. For example, there are countless millions of well preserved fossil fish, even showing scales, fins and eye sockets. In nature, a dead fish is quickly ripped apart by scavengers and decomposes.readily. Unless the fish were buried quickly and the sediments.(mud and sand).hardened fairly rapidly, such features would not be preserved."

Most of the flood waters came not from above but from below:.Genesis 7:4,11

An enormous amount of water is in magma.(molten rock).hidden deep in the Earth. Once an opening develops in the Earth's crust there is a tremendous pressure release, a volcanic explosion with its resulting lava.

Article 'About the Grand Canyon' from the book.Creation Facts of Life.Gary Parker, Master Books, P.O. Box 26060, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80936, 719.591-0800

"...after leading over 15 week-long backpacking trips for university students through the Canyon and studying the rock layers and fossils close-up, I'm ready to stake the place out with Bible verses! What I once assumed was a record of a lot of time, now looks like evidence of a lot of water instead!...

"The first Flood current in the area came with such tremendous force that it sheared off the tilted Precambrian rocks in virtually a straight line, producing the so-called 'angular unconformity' diagrammed in Fig. 36.(in his book). Science tells us that the tilt-and-shear could not have happened slowly and gradually. One of the tilted units.(the reddish Hakatai Shale).is so soft and crumbly you can dig it out with your fingernails. Another is so incredibly hard.(the Shinumo Quartzite).that researchers can barely knock off a piece with a hammer. Had the rocks been tilted up slowly and eroded gradually by rain drops and rivers, the crumbly rock would be all gone, leaving valleys and the hard unit would stick up in ridges and hillocks.(small hills). The two different rock types would result in a very wavy contact being formed at the angular unconformity between the tilted layers and the first horizontal unit, the Tapeats Sandstone. Instead, it looks as if the Flood current that eventually deposited the Tapeats came in with such titanic force that the hard and soft rocks were sheared off almost equally in a nearly straight line.

"Actually, the Shinumo Quartzite is so hard that parts of it do occasionally stick up through the Tapeats. But the force of the Flood was so great that it broke off huge boulders of this incredibly hard rock, picked the boulders up and carried them miles.(kilometers).away before finally dropping them! Wow! Many devastating floods have been observed in historical times, but none with such power! So far as I know, there are no evolutionary.(uniformitarian).theories to explain how such huge boulders could be picked up and slowly and gradually moved by ordinary river and raindrop erosion! Even the Colorado River today, a classic example of strength and power, is unable to move lesser boulders downstream from the mouths of its side canyons."

The major Roman Empire historian Josephus talks here of the Great Flood reports known in his day as he draws together collaborative writings from numerous non-Jewish sources..Josephus, Book 1:

"...And after seven days he sent out a dove, to know the state of the ground, which came back to him covered with mud and bringing an olive branch. Hereby Noah learned that the Earth was become clear of the flood. So after he had stayed seven more days, he sent the living creatures out of the ark and both he and his family went out, when he also sacrificed to God and feasted with his companions. However, the Armenians call this place 'The Place of Descent' for the ark being saved in that place. Its remains are shown there by the inhabitants to this day.

"Now all the writers of barbarian histories make mention of this flood and of this ark, among whom is Berosus the Chaldean. For when he is describing the circumstances of the flood, he goes on thus: 'It is said there is still some part of this ship in Armenia, at the mountain of the Cordyaeans and that some people carry off pieces of the bitumen, which they take away and use chiefly as amulets for the averting of mischiefs'.

"Hieronymus the Egyptian also, who wrote the Phoenician Antiquities and Mnaseas and a great many more books, makes mention of the same.

"Also, Nicolaus of Damascus, in his ninety-sixth book, has a particular interest, where he speaks thus: 'There is a great mountain in Armenia, over Minyas, called Baris, upon which it is reported that many who fled at the time of the Deluge were saved and that one who was carried in an ark came on shore upon the top of it and that the remains of the timber were a great while preserved. This might be the man about whom Moses the legislator of the Jews wrote'."

The Story of Coal
Ask any diehard evolutionist who adamantly insists that there was not a global flood:.Where did coal and oil come from?, by what process were they created? They have no logical answer. Yet oil and coal power our modern world, but should they, especially so in the light of free energy from space. Buried at all sedimentary depths, oil and coal exist! But in the case of coal, it can form very quickly.

When a drilling rig first strikes oil it often gushes up, still under intense pressure from deep below. Entire forests and jungles of life were crushed directly from life into preserved complex carbon energy. We refine it a little to extract fuel, fertilizer and plastics, then move on to the next deposit without giving it much thought.

Discrete pockets of preserved former life are separated by wide layers of muck and rock. Then nothing grew there for millions of years?, then 'bam' a burst of stored life, then nothing for millions more years, then another concentrated coal or oil pocket. A million years is a long time. Where you live, can you imagine that nothing grew there for one million or more years? Please consider the fossil record itself.(as it really does actually exist).when pondering our ancient origins.

While the evolutionist postulates that each subsequent layer down indicates a different age or episode recorded in that region and then believes millions of years of this or that, the creationist postulates that these same sedimentary layers altogether record a singular recent violent catastrophic flood.

Coal is a dangerous pollutant in that it puts particulate matter into the air we breath and is responsible for many respiratory illnesses and subsequent deaths.

From CRI.(equip.org):."Didn't Coal Form Slowly In Swamps Over Millions Of Years?

"The evidence points overwhelmingly to the rapid formation of coal as coal can form in as few as 28 days, as vast forests were uprooted and deposited, then rapidly buried. At Yallourn in Victoria, Australia, there are huge brown coal beds containing large numbers of logs of pine trees, of types which today don't grow in swamps.

"Sorted, thick layers of up to 50 percent pure pollen over vast areas unmistakably show the water borne nature of these brown coal beds. Also, many Southern Hemisphere coal deposits show no sign of anything which could represent the fossil 'soil' in which the forests allegedly grew.

"Researchers at Argonne National Laboratory, USA, have taken ordinary wood fragments, mixed them with some acid-activated clay and water, heated the mixture for 28 days at only 150 degrees Celsius with no added pressure in an air free sealed quartz tube and obtained high-grade black coal. It doesn't need millions of years! Coal seams are known which fork; others connect with each other in a 'Z' formation.

"In his 1907 report, famous Australian geologist Sir Edgeworth David described upright coalified tree trunks.(like the poly-strate fossil shown on page 13 in his book). In Newcastle, Australia, black coal seams that had their lower ends embedded in one coal seam, then went right through the intervening strata to finish up in the coal seam above!

"Think of trying to explain any of this by means of slow growth processes in two separate swamps separated by vast time periods. It is clear that the 'slow and gradual' bias has prevented the obvious explanation for the origin of coal—rapid burial of catastrophically ripped-up vegetation by massive watery catastrophe.

"Moving water, especially a lot of it, can rapidly perform an enormous amount of geological work that most people think must take millions of years. The right-hand photo on page 16 shows more than seven meters.(25 feet).of layered sedimentary rock built up in one afternoon! This was in association with the upheaval caused by the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens in the state of Washington. When this mountain blew its top and following subsequent eruptions, there were landslides, mud flows and other sedimentary phenomena. Over 180 meters.(600 feet).of layered sedimentary rock has built up since the initial explosion.

"Steve Austin has photos of a canyon 100 feet.(30 meters).deep and somewhat wider, carved in one day by one mud flow."

More compelling evidence for Creation and the Flood.
