Isaiah 44:1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant and Israel.(who is Israel today?), whom I have chosen.

Isaiah 44:2 Thus says God that made you and formed you from the womb, which will help you, Fear not, O Jacob, my servant and you, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour my spirit upon your seed and my blessing upon thine offspring.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus says God the King of Israel, also known as the redeemer; I am the first and I am the last and beside me there is no God.
Revelation 1:8.
Isaiah 44:7 And who, as I, call and declare it and set it in order, since I appointed the ancient people?.and the things that are coming and shall come, tell them.
Isaiah 44:7 And who, as I, shall call and shall declare it and set it in order, since I appointed.(original 'put', 'gave', 'set up', 'make', 'brought', etc.).the ancient.(original is 'everliving', so who then were these?).people.(the personages, the individual entities the Creator set up where He wanted them to be)?.(who then are the everliving ones?).and the things that are coming and shall come.(*), tell them.
Isaiah 44:8 Fear you not, neither be afraid. Have not I told yu from that time and have declared it? You are even my witnesses. Is there a God.(original for word 'God' here refers not to Elohim, but to that Invisible {Colossians 1:15; 1Timothy 1:17} Intelligent Energy {Revelation 4:9,10} out of which came the Elohim and all else known and unknown; there is no power greater).beside me? yea, there is no God.(original for word 'God' here is 'strength'); I know not any.

Isaiah 44:9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity and their delectable.(original for word 'delectable' is 'things coveted', 'things they take pleasure in', such things important for them, as were the idols they made with their own hands.{*), because, in their stupidity, they believed that what they produced kept the 'Gods', which those idols represented, close to them for life to go better, not realizing that it was their belief, not manufactured idols that could make a difference in life; in other words, the idols were nothing, belief was the key and believing in anything apart from the true God, our Father in heaven {what's heaven} only associated their individual soul with the dark side entities).things shall not profit and they are their own witnesses. They see not, nor know, that they may be ashamed,
They will one day wake up to their stupidity.
Isaiah 44:10 Who has formed a God or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
Barnes Notes; The question is designed to be ironical and sarcastic: 'Who is there' says the prophet 'that has done this? Who are they that are engaged in this stupid work? Do they give marks of a sound mind? What is and must be the character of a man that has formed a God and that has made an unprofitable graven image?
Isaiah 44:12 The smith with the tongs both work in the coals and fashion it with hammers and work it with the strength of his arms. Yea, he is hungry and his strength fails. He drinks no water and is faint.
He was dedicated to producing a stupid idol that he would worship.
Isaiah 44:15 Then shall it be for a man to burn, for he will take thereof and warm himself. Yea, he kindles it and bakes bread. Yea, he makes a God and worships it. He makes it a graven image and falls down thereto.

Isaiah 44:17 And the residue thereof he makes a God, even his graven image.(2Kings 17:16-19,29,30). He falls down unto it and worships it and prays unto it and says, Deliver me, for you are my God.

Isaiah 44:18 They have not known nor comprehended. For he.(the 'he' is the multiverse sustained by invisible laws which work automatically according to set down patterns which can vary according to individual consciousness {*}).has shut their eyes, that they cannot see and their hearts that they cannot innerstand.
Why did the Creator set up things so that peoples' minds are so often beyond comprehending reality?.Isaiah 56:11; Matthew 13:16. God set up some automatic things like the law of reap and sow, which effectively cuts off one's ability to take in spiritual things once they head down the road away from the true God.
Isaiah 44:19 And.(as a result of verse 18 above).none considers in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire. Yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof. I have roasted flesh and eaten it and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
None considers the things they may be doing are in vain.
Isaiah 44:20 He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside so that he cannot deliver his soul nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?.(can't see what has brought his life to the state it's in)

Isaiah 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud.(original for word 'cloud' here is 'thick dark heavy cloud' as you may feel sometimes is over you), your transgressions and as this cloud.(original for word 'cloud' here is simply 'cloud', meaning a lighter cloud, that is, how God regards your sins:.Isaiah 43:25).are your sins. Return unto me for I have redeemed you.(that's why this thing called sin, no longer counts).
What's the difference between words transgression and sin, according to the original?

And when was this redemption?.2Timothy 1:9. But like anything, what good is it if you don't know about it? To know about it, a person has to awaken to the meaning of it. And so the prophets and later the disciples were sent out to awaken the people.

Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the Lord, your redeemer and he that formed you in the womb.(set the invisible patterns making this possible), I am the Lord that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone, that spreads abroad the Earth by myself.

Isaiah 44:28 That says of Cyrus II, He is my shepherd and shall perform all my pleasure, even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
