Matthew 13:1 The same day went Emmanuel out of the house and sat by the sea side.

Matthew 13:2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship and sat and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

Matthew 13:3-7 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow, And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much Earth. And forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of Earth. And when the sun was up, they were scorched and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns and the thorns sprung up and choked them.

Matthew 13:8 But other fell into good ground.(the ground is the mind:.Luke 8:12).and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Matthew 13:9 Who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 13:10 And the disciples came and said unto him, Why speak you unto them in parables?

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know.(original closer to 'you have given yourself to know'; they wanted to know and wanted to know because God was 'calling' them:.Matthew 11:25-27; Mark 4:11,12; Galatians 2:9).the mysteries.(*).of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.(well, not exactly:.Acts 17:30.{*}). 

Original closer to 'but they haven't' given themselves to know'. Each one always has free choice and if they feel one choice may preclude what they have been used to, they'll shy away from that choice at first.

Unfortunately a lot of religion makes of the things of the Bible, a separation, that is, a being taught that some are the chosen righteous ones and others aren't, but this is so far from the truth of the Bible as to be reprehensible, example:.Luke 5:32; John 12:47;.Acts 17:30.

Matthew 13:12.For whosoever has, to him is given and he has more abundance. But whosoever has not, from him is taken away even that he has.

Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables because they seeing see not and hearing they hear not neither do they comprehend.

Emmanuel dealt with others by where they were (verse 16 just below) in consciousness, the ego level or if they were in or growing in higher consciousness.

Matthew 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias.(Isaiah), which says, By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive.

Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross.(Jeremiah 44:16,17).and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and comprehend with their heart and be converted.(2Corinthians 4:4).and I should heal them.

Original has it:."...and comprehend with their heart and turn to healing"; that is, healing of all types, such as healing of the attitude of rejecting that which people refuse to learn about.

One needs to be on the pathway of higher consciousness if he expects to be healed.

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear.

These were they who were no longer blinded to knowledge which freed them:.John 8:32,36. Example:.Luke 6:27-34. Similar to what occurred in the time of Elisha:.2Kings 6:16,17.

Matthew 13:17 For verily I say unto you That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see and have not seen them and to hear those things which you hear and have not heard them.

Matthew 13:18 Hear you therefore the parable of the sower.

Matthew 13:19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom and comprehends it not, then comes the wicked one and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Matthew 13:19 When any one hears the word of.(Mark 4:14,15; Luke 8:11,12).the kingdom.(the word, the thought has been sown in a person's heart and ready for acceptance or rejection:.2Corinthians 4:4; the word or thought is one's exposure to spiritual leadings, however they may come:.Matthew 4:23).and comprehends it not.(doesn't regard it as having much relevance to him, so doesn't take any time to think about what he or she may have heard, sort of allowing the birds to pick up the seeds that the sower sowed; have a desire to comprehend), then comes the wicked one.(word 'one' not in original, but implied and speaking of Satan {Mark 4:15; 1John 2:13,14; 3:12; 5:18} who is also called the devil:.Luke 8:12; it's talking about lower consciousness thoughts slipped into us {Ephesians 6:16} by the dark side from what is in the mass mind and in accordance with {*} our thoughts; the dark side is wicked and out to bring us down by any way it can {ways it uses to do this} get us into and keep us in low consciousness life, a life away from God).and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Like, it was over there on the side of the road somewhere, so I went and picked it up to have a look at it;.Adam Clarke's Commentary.adds:."a careless inattentive hearer is compared to the way side; his heart is an open road where evil affections and foolish and hurtful desires continually pass and repass, without either notice or restraint; this is a heart where Satan has ingress, egress, regress and progress, in a word, is the devil’s thoroughfare.".Parallel but shorter accounts are in Mark & Luke.

Matthew 13:20,21 But he that received the seed into stony places the same is he that hears the word and anon with joy receives it; Yet has he not root in himself, but endures for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended.

For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word.(ever decide to follow your dream and all your friends think you are nuts? that's a trial and could even be a persecution toward you; the verse is talking about an individual who has yet to trust in God in him, instead running back to the ego ways that got him by poorly in his life so far), by and by he is offended.

Felt he made a wrong decision; maybe others were right, so he gives up on his dream, not realizing the power of the God that could have supported him; get os see the movies.What If? The Movie.and its sequel, the The Grand Self.movie, which itself is about dissolving the illusion of separateness by getting rid of limitations that hold us all back from the life we desire and how the world is moving into light, even while the darkness still seems to increase, that is, until the darkness is completely overridden by the light.

Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that hears the word and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word and he becomes unfruitful.

Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that hears the word and comprehends it, which also bears fruit and brings forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.

The 'man' here being the true God, the creation by God here being humanity, those God created which were of all good genes, having then good natures.

Field is speaking of consciousness, our minds:.Luke 8:12.

Matthew 13:25 But while men slept his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

Matthew 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit then appeared the tares also.

Matthew 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did not you sow good seed in your field? From whence then has it tares?

Matthew 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy has done this. The servants said unto him, Will you then that we go and gather them up?

Matthew 13:29 But he said, Nay, lest while you gather up the tares, you root up also the wheat with them.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them. But gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field;

Matthew 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds.(Mark 4:30-32), but when it is grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Matthew 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them. The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Emmanuel unto the multitude in parables and without a parable spake he not unto them.

Matthew 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet.(fufilling the prophecy made in.Psalms 78:1-3), saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
