Galatians 2:1-3 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run or had run, in vain. But neither Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Emmanuel, that they might bring us into bondage.
Like, what are these guys all about? Let's appear to be as one of them and see if they are a threat and if so, find some way to bring them into bondage. This is typical cabal thinking.
Galatians 2:5,6 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.  But of these who seemed to be somewhat, whatsoever they were, it makes no matter to me, God accepts no man's person.(great or small, God looks on their hearts, not their position in society), for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me,
Barnes Notes: To treat someone with special favor on account of his rank, his wealth or from favoritism and partiality, is simply wrong. It's a despicable.attitude of selfishness worth avoiding.

Mpre.

Galatians 2:7,8 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter. For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles.

Galatians 2:9 And when James, Cephas.(this was Peter:.John 1:42).and John, who were pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen and they unto the circumcision.

Galatians 2:10 Only they would that we should remember the poor, the same which I also was forward to do. Be not servants of men.
Do not put the opinions of others above the heart of God toward the less fortunate.
Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
Peter still had things to learn about the oneness of the multiverse, brotherly love and kindness, openness and sincerity, because Peter believed his particular way was the most effective one. Turns out Paul was correct and Peter was wrong. See following verse down to 14. Did Paul withstand him in anger or had he a kind approach to it all? We are not told.
Galatians 2:12 For before those certain.(people).came from James, he.(Peter).did eat with the Gentiles, but when they.(those of the circumcision).were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
The 'circumcision' were those religious types, such as the Pharisees, Sadducees, etc. who legalistically.adhered to the Old Testament laws, they had perverted and kept teaching them, this subverting the people. The same as occurred by the cabal in our day.
Galatians 2:13 And the other Jews.dissembled likewise with him insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Galatians 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If you, being a Judean, live after the manner of Gentiles and not as do the Judeans, why compel you the Gentiles to live as do the Judeans?

Galatians 2:15 We who are Judeans by nature and not sinners of the Gentiles,
It's saying 'we were born Judeans, meaning we have the history of the Old Testament law which provided us an advantage (Romans 3:1,2), whereas, the Gentiles (meaning, non Judean born) had not this. Barnes Notes: those of Judah were not born under the disadvantages of the Gentiles which disadvantages were in the opinion of those possessing the history of the ancient law; referring to no or little effective knowledge of the ancient ways as defined in the Mosaic Law:.Romans 3:1-3,9,10,23,24,28,29. The Gentiles were regarded as 'sinners' because they were not under the obligation of the ancient Mosaic law, which those of the tribe of Judah had always regarded as being so very important. A lot of the time, because they didn't follow it, after they had agreed.(Exodus 19:7,8).to do so, God sent them into captivity.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Emmanuel the Christ, even we have believed in Emmanuel the Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law, for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
To paraphrase this verse:.'Do you know that you are not made righteous if you keep this Mosaic Law, because you being of righteousness only comes from accepting Christ as you would accept someone to become your friend and that simply by being comfortable when together. The parents of your friend see that both of you are good for each other and that this relationship didn't come from keeping whatever laws of say, the land, that either of you knew about, because adherence to them could never give you the closeness you now have with each other. The law had nothing to do with what brought together your relationship and keeps it together'.

Note the verse says, you get the faith that Emmanuel had, the faith that justifies you, the faith that makes you righteous and that you get it through believing.

People living from their good works to impress another's ego level, bypass the true reality:.John 14:12.

Galatians 2:17,18 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed I make myself a transgressor.

Galatians 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live. Yet not I, but Christ lives in me.(how can Christ be in everyone who accepts his high consciousness as a better way?). And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of.(the sureness of the truth of).the Son of God, who loves me and gave himself for me.
He gave himself for all and as such each of us are included.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God. For if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
