Now to
what extent the application of this knowledge is implemented
is between you and the Great Infinite One. On being
transformed.
My urging to you is 'go
for the gold':.Philippians
3:13,14; 2Timothy 4:8. Get
the best reward that you possibly can.
Why limit yourself to thirty
fold.(Matthew
13:8,23).when
you
can get a hundred? Go for the prize.(Hebrews
12:1; 1Corinthians 9:24;
Philippians
2:16).as
Paul did. There are many 'prizes'.
The Creator wants us to 'go
out and
get busy', to go out and
be involved in helping others, helping
to reach them with the message they so desperately need, that of awakening
to their true state of being, serving
others, figuring out how to do the best you can for them and
for yourself in order to make a loving and positive difference in life.1,

God doesn't remove the problems
in life, because they are there to deal with and that provides opportunity
for an incredible reward, but one finds it hard to believe beyond this
life unless he is awakened:.1Corinthians
2:9 "But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither
has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for
them that love him.".Paul
clearly saw where he was going:.Philippians
3:14.
Go out and be sociable
and follow the guidance you receive in your
quiet times:.Mark
4:20-24 "And these are they which are sown on good ground, such as
hear the word and receive it and bring forth
fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty and some an hundred. And he said
unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed?
and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid, which shall
not be manifested,
neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any
man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed
what you hear. With what measure you mete,
it is measured to you and unto you that hear shall more be given." Matthew
16:27 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with
his angels and then he shall reward every man according to his works."
1Corinthians
15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always
abounding
in the work of the Lord." Matthew
16:27 "...he shall reward every man according to his works."
It is doubtful whether one
can be good without being good for something! One
thing you can be good about that will set the world back up and away
from its present destructive path.
Too often instead we listen
to, as Jowett calls him
"Mr.
Worldly Wiseman":."Take
the line of least resistance; keep your lips closed; go with the stream;
look after yourself! This is the method of reasonableness! This is the
policy which assures self preservation! This is the secret of a successful
and progressive life! Keep your lips closed, the policy of silence; go
with the stream, the policy of opportunism; look after yourself, the policy
of self-aggrandizement.
Such is the counsel of Mr. Worldly Wiseman. The Mister Worldly Wiseman
inside all of us is always sucked in by anything that he becomes convinced
of that will make him greater, make him richer, more popular, more secure
and worshipped more, even if it is at the expense of his fellowman. And
this is easy for him, as he is convinced that all his fellowmen are the
same as he, so might as well go along with the flow.".Luke
6:39 "...Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into
the ditch?".Humility
is not a byword
of his or her character.
The lives of such are filled with hypocrisy.
"Feelings which are never
expressed languish
away and die. It is equally true of the noble and the base. Refuse expression
to an unworthy passion and we slay it by suffocation. Life is sustained
and enriched by expression, by endurance and by sacrifice."
...Jowett
Matthew
10:38,39.
Have a good
cause to sacrifice your idle time to.
Trials would not be needed
in order for a person to develop compassion if he would take efforts himself
toward developing this valuable quality of the heart. Sadly some have lost
courage. All persons are in a belief
that they will die, but few ever really live.
Some spiritual persons however
seem to prefer to develop an attitude of praise to God, "praise you Emmanuel"
they sing, "oh, if we can only get closer to Emmanuel".
Well, there is a way. And
it is being neglected. And because of that neglect, they work iniquity:.Matthew
7:23;.Psalms
36:1-3 "To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the
LORD: The transgression of the wicked says within the heart, that there
is no fear of God.(no
interest in the things
of a higher consciouness), relying instead on the conditioning of his
ego that he is used to).before
his eyes. For he flatters.(original
is 'distributes to himself').himself
in his own eyes, until his iniquity (original
is 'perversity').be
found to be hateful.(comment:
goes his own way till something dawns upon him that his way is not producing
what he hoped for). The words of his
mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has left off to be wise and to do good."
But many are too self concerned,
too conditioned by the circumstances that have made their egos what they
are to them, too conditioned.(self
brainwashed).to
effectively care for others in need who may never be able to repay them.
At the Tower of Babel.(its
ruins are supposed to be the present Birs Nimroud, six miles south-west
of Hilleh, the modern Babylon, situated 56 miles south of Baghdad {or Bagdad},
Iraq; the ancient tower of Babel became the celebrated city of Babylon)
which was close to the ancient city of Ur),
people wanted to build a name for themselves, for selfish reasons, away
from Creator-God:.Genesis
11:1-9; Jeremiah 44:16,17.
Today it is the same. Corporations
do it. Churches do it. Associations do it. Individuals
do it, seeking things and ways to present themselves and their interests
as being foremost and the select of choice for others, the byword
or their motto
being, 'what advantage for the self can be gained'?
Instead of doing this with
the right kind of pride and attitude of service, the
wrong kind of pride is all too often embraced. Bigger to be better.
Bigger to impress, but usually not for service to others; just for more
advantage for self in some way, even if it puts another at a disadvantage.
For example, churches and corporations get wealthier and those supporting
them often become poorer. Such is the way of the
ego.
Self-importance and self-aggrandizement
are the bywords
of the selfish whose investments of time are confined to this all too short
physical existence in which their efforts are put into: Matthew
6:19-21. We are here for only a few years, here to learn why
we are here, here to make a difference of betterment
in others lives.
The ego submerges
the real reasons why mankind is here and substitutes negative concepts
of greed and selfishness:.Genesis
11:4 "And they said Go to let us build us a city and a tower whose
top may reach unto heaven and let us make us a name lest we be scattered
abroad upon the face of the whole earth.(the
ego feature
of fear was their base for action)."
Zechariah
4:6 ".....Not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the LORD
of hosts.(original
root word for 'hosts' is 'fight', that is, the Creator is able to act in
His invisible realm in such a manner {how?}
as having an even greater effect than powerful armies able to fight at
the physical level; we {John 17:26}
host the presence of the Infinite One:.Isaiah
54:5).
1Corinthians
10:33 "Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own
profit, but the profit of
many.that
they may be saved.".(word
'saved' does not have the religious connotation
that many would assume it would have; instead it
means...)
Paul was loving toward God
in such a way that made him disciplined in his purpose, that gave him such
a loving, protective heart toward others in Christ that he was even willing
to give his own salvation so that others may receive more:.Romans
9:3.
One
can tell by noting another's actions and inaction, if a spiritual person
really
believes in a life beyond, or whether
they mostly trust in themselves:.2Corinthians
1:9 ".....that we should not trust in ourselves but in God which raises
the dead." Philippians 3:11
"If by any means I might attain unto the
resurrection of the dead."
There appears to be three
degrees of faith: 1) Intellectual faith, a weaker faith; knowing that Emmanuel
is God, but the Bible states that "even.the
devils believe", so belief like this is
still below par.
2) Casual faith, a type common
to many; praying for your kids/family, praying before you get on a plane,
etc. and trusting the Creator that your prayers are answered.
3) And saving faith, the
best kind; trusting in Emmanuel the Christ for
all things. Perhaps it is because we sometimes become engrossed
in
our own depression or feelings of hopelessness,
that we fail to progress to saving faith.
We appear to be created with
a God shaped hole in our soul. We go throughout life attempting to fill
it with everything but God. Some go to church every week and may think
they are filling that God shaped hole with obeisance.
But a few soon realize, that's just 'religion'.....God
wants more than that, He wants a 'relationship' made possible through the
righteousness of Emmanuel available as a gift. This also is the main
way to break off those things which may control you.
