I have learned something
that maybe you can use.
It is a key to spiritual
growth, a key to getting ahead, as
it were, in the 'rat race' of life, a key equal in importance to study
and prayer. A key that will get your life
on
track. A key that will connect you with the source of all that is and
where you can get all you want that is good.
When life starts to 'come
back on you', when for every step ahead you go two back, then it is
time to head into stillness,
into the dark and quiet, where
calmness reigns.
Meditation
is contact with God, who is everywhere.(*).and
is focused on
when in silence. How
is it focused on? There are kinds
of meditation. Here's a
15 minute one to listen to that makes a difference for good in your
life. Use it as a guideline by adapting it to words you prefer.
When I spend time in the
dark
and quiet with the Great Infinite Intelligence, the Creator of all
that we commonly refer to as God.(Psalms
4:4; 46:10;
62:8;
88:6;
Isaiah
45:3), my meditation
included listening and sometimes talking to our Creator, asking things,
expressing things I wanted done for me and others, including those in the
world out there:.Mark
1:35. I lived in my 20's and 30's in a rented house with many rooms,
so privacy was easy.
I would sit there by myself
with the door closed and in darkness. The house was mostly quiet, so that
wasn't a problem. Sometimes 20 minutes. Sometimes 3-4 hours I'd be there.
Sometimes only a few minutes.(*).
I was.oblivious
to the concept
of time during these
interludes.
I just knew when each time in the silence where the Creator is.(1Kings
19:11,12).was
over.
Luke
1:79 "To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow
of death.(living
in fearful times), to guide our feet
into the way of peace."
Times so spent brings forth
the Spirit of the Creator that modern science calls the energy of the
quantum field, putting one in greater touch with the heart of the Creator.
Paul
did this too. This helps one avoid alienation
from our Creator, a being out of sync with the main 'operating system'
of the universe, which is what?
Being in sync also increases
health. You come to know that you are more than you had thought you were
and this gives substance that sustains the presence of you in daily living
and greater ability to sense the two
messages the multiverse always sends out.
The silence inside is the
home of the connection with the
Soul:.Psalms
16:7. The silence that comes from
meditation
stays with you, so no circumstances however loud they may be can override
it:.John
10:27,28; Hebrews 13:5.
We are the children of God.
It's just that at this time many are still
in the awakening stage.
Being children of God, God
looks after His children:.Acts
17:28,29; Matthew 7:11; 1Corinthians
2:9.
Philippians
2:13 "For it is God which works in you both to will and to do
of his good pleasure.".And
just how does He work in you?
Romans
8:16 "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are
the children of God."
The Creator listens and responds.
Ancient David's example of being
with God.
Forget searching through
all the problems out there that may be affecting you. Some you can deal
with and others are 'just too much' to figure out. Figuring out and trying
to see how we can adjust and readjust to their effects upon us can almost
drive you bananas.
One of the biggest mistakes
in life we make is we do not take the time to look within.(Psalms
91:1 "He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty.").where
the
Infinite One is, the Infinite One that became the multiverse
and from which all there is we see and know of came from.
If you want God to be with
you?.2Corinthians
13:11 "...be of one mind, live in peace and the God of love and peace
shall be with you.".Where?
Things can well up to our
conscious attention from our connection with this Universal Life Source.
Once this is done, many issues simply evaporate, circumstances change to
be in our favor instead of against us so much. That is because when you
put your attention on something you bring the light
to it; that is, attention is spirit and the spirit, the soul
of you, has no problems. Where does the darkness go when the light
goes on? It simply vanishes.
The problems have always
been ours. The answer to our problems is where the problem is. And it's
always
in the mind. In the stillness is the birthplace of inspiration, creativity
and insights.
And all this is not spiritual
gobbledegook.
It is backed up by proven
results from the Harvard Ph.D.
quantum physicist who discovered the unified field Einstein searched all
his life for and never found. Dr. John Hagelin is his name. And, Nassim
Haramein proved it with his equations, peer reviewed and pronounced
correct. You would think this would have hit the news.
In this way you come to
live
your life by taking three steps ahead 'out there' and two
steps back, back that is, into the quiet, the dark and quiet meditation,
prayer and contemplation time. This is so important. If you have
not done this, do it! It is an important key
to having your life go much better.."Almost
all of the problems of humanity arise from the inability to be alone with
oneself in a room for any period of time."....Blaise
Pascal..
"Space and silence are necessary
because it is only when the mind is alone, uninfluenced, untrained, not
held by infinite varieties of experience, that it can come upon something
totally new."....J.
Krishnamurti, spiritual writer and speaker.
In this
alone time, you come to experience that you are not alone, that there
is a real presence here; you just know for sure, that you are not
alone.
In this meditation time
you 'go behind the curtain' that separates daily living from deeper reality,
just
as was described in the Old
Testament. When you can live your life from the
deeper reality which is from the
higher consciousness level fixed in your heart, daily living becomes
fulfilling because one then has fulfilment
from faith, that is, one is sure that his meditation
efforts accomplish results for us all; we are
all one.
Once we are living from
the level of the Soul, that is, spiritually resurrected by connection to
it, we spontaneously
radiate the virtues
of the
Soul. When you help others, have a satisfying meal, etc., you are in
a state of fulfilment
and there is no anxiousness
over desires. Fulfilment is of the
stillness.."Every
time you go into the silence you bring a little bit back with you."....Deepak
Chopra.
Now you are able to look
at the daily life you have in a higher consciousness way, because you are
allowing time for Soul qualities to flourish,
no longer submerged by the hustle
and bustle of daily concerns, no longer subject to the myriad
thoughts that keep you from sleeping
contentedly. Calmness returns.
Contentment
surfaces when one realizes that fulfilment always flows as a result of
a calm mind, because an agitated.demeanor
keeps one off the pathway of peace. Meditation gets one out of the mental
fog caused by overload of thoughts. Overload of thoughts bring frustration.
When taking time to meditate,
you are the observer
where you can let thoughts come and just as easily let them go without
getting slowed down by involvement with any of them, like watching train
cars pass by on the track or tree branches swaying in the winds. As long
as your soul is aware of things, that is, the Soul
brings things to your soul, you'll do the right thing at the right
time, so why get involved in any worries you may have over any of the thoughts?.Matthew
6:27. Once connected with the Soul, the Soul is aware of all that you
become aware of and you become aware of all the Soul is aware of including
its potential, including guidance, for your life.
The Infinite is really there!
And you find this in the silence. It's the Soul that is connecting because
of your consciousness; that is, the conscious decision to connect along
with the action taken to do so. It's the time one has decided to take to
do this.
It's the expression of the
Infinite Intelligent energy field that is personalized as you. You are
connecting with your own spirituality as Creator intended for us to do.
How else do we get to know the invisible side of all that supports the
physical if not in and through us, the visible human things of His
creation?.Romans
1:20.
Once one realizes that he's
engaged in a continuous
battle here on Earth, he then will take time to stay spiritually connected
this way and other
ways too. In this, we become more like the Infinite:.Philippians
2:5,6. We grow!
I always studied about Him
through reading the Bible and such, even when I was extremely busy with
the things we all have to do. But I guess I never realized how precious
to the Creator this quiet time with me was, where I mostly just sat and
listened:.Psalms
77:6 "I call to remembrance my song in the night. I commune with mine
own heart and my spirit made diligent search."
Paul
too went to be alone. Because we all get so extremely busy at times,
the AskSuby tool below can be helpful.
Perhaps I didn't then think
enough about how important the relationship was. At times back then, the
true
reality.(right
there with us always and at all times).was
not uppermost in my mind. It's like electricity. It's there. Your toaster
is plugged in. But, it does no good for you unless you turn it on.
I guess we all take familiar
things for granted too much. I hope you too are sure to take these important
times just for our Creator. They refresh you as nothing else! Really!
One other thing that I feel
is important: Have a purpose in your quiet time to think about just what
moves your good emotions; be it music, stories, certain movies, times with
family members or friends, sunsets, scenery, etc. Then resolve
to take time for these things which can build good strong positive emotions
in you. This helps to keep you from negative
things which tend
to degrade
you.
So the upshot
of all this is, that we are more important to Him than we have probably
ever thought.
I love nature, Macrobiotic
cooking.(organic
grains {buckwheat, millet, oats, barley, etc.} and organic vegetables,
etc.).as
I have seen remarkable transformations in health and intelligence, just
by altering diet.
I enjoy hiking and live
in a relatively peaceful, beautiful, wealthy and rapidly growing city,
