Psalms 36:1 <To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord> The transgression of the wicked shows me that there is no fear of God.(no interest in the things of a higher consciouness), relying instead on the conditioning of his ego that he is used to).before their eyes.
Who are the wicked who leave God's principles of love out of their thinking and actions?
Psalms 36:2 For he flatters.(original is 'distributes to himself').himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity(original is 'perversity').be found to be hateful.(comment: goes his own way till something dawns upon him that his way is not producing what he hoped for).
Psalms 36:2 For he flatters.(original 'divides', that is, he thinks he's apart from the crowd and above all others:.Philippians 2:3).himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

Can also mean: 'seeks to separate in order to attain the hate that fuels division', in the which, he can take advantage and gain control.

Paraphrased.'He sees himself not as belonging to each other and so takea advantage because of a belief that he is above others and thinks of them as worthless insects:.Leviticus 19:18,34; Matthew 19:19; 22:36-40; Luke 10:25-28; Galatians 5:14; James 2:8. Most of us have believed that every human is separate, rather than all are connected. This is an iniquity that produces the selfishness of hate, envy and greed.').(*)

Psalms 36:3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has left off to be wise and to do good.

Psalms 36:4 He devises mischief upon his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good.(*). He abhors not evil.

Psalms 36:7 How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.
Luke 10:19.
Psalms 36:9 For with you.(the Creator).is the fountain of life. In your light we see light.
What if you don't see light in others? Then they don't have it, yet.
Psalms 36:10 O continue your loving kindness unto them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Psalms 36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

Psalms 37:1,2 <A Psalm of David.> Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.(the iniquity they work is always selfishness, why?). For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb.

Psalms 37:3.Trust in the Lord and do good, so shall you dwell in the land and verily you shall be fed.

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of thine heart.

Psalms 37:5 Commit your way unto the Lord. Trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalms 37:6 And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday.

Psalms 37:7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him.Fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
God at times and for His purposes, allows such wicked things to come to pass:.Proverbs 19:21; Isaiah 32:7: Daniel 11:24.

How to know whether to wait or act now. Here one needs insight to see what could happen if he waited and what would happen if he acted now:.Proverbs 13:12.

Psalms 37:8 Cease from anger.(original implies 'getting upset').and forsake wrath.(original, 'rage'). Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 

Psalms 37:9,10 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the Earth.(Matthew 5:5). For yet a little while and the wicked shall not be. Yea, you shalt diligently consider his place and it shall not be.

Psalms 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the Earth.(Matthew 5:5).and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 37:12 The wicked plots against the just and gnashes upon him with his teeth..

Psalms 37:13 The Lord shall laugh at him for he sees that his day is coming.

Psalms 37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword and have bent their bow to cast down the poor and needy.(poor & needy:.Amos 5:12).and to slay such as be of upright conversation
Word 'conversation' is Old English for 'conduct'.
Psalms 37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart and their bows shall be broken.

Psalms 37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.

Psalms 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken but the Lord upholds the righteous.

Psalms 37:18 The Lord knows.(1Corinthians 8:3).the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever.

Psalms 37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Psalms 37:21 The wicked borrows and pays not again.(never intended to pay), but the righteous show mercy and give.

Psalms 37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth.(Matthew 5:5).and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his way.(*).
A good man is one of higher consciousness. Who's the Lord?
Psalms 37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
Important to realize how one's thoughts enable or disable him or her.
Psalms 37:25 I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
What's a righteous thought and what's not? Dr. Murphy explains.
Psalms 37:26 He is ever merciful and lends and his seed is blessed.
A giving and kind individual:Luke 6:38.
Psalms 37:27,28 Depart from evil and do good and dwell for evermore.(live eternally:.1John 5:20). For God loves judgment.(that is, when one makes decisions based on a higher way of living because that's better).and forsakes not his saints. They are preserved for ever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
The true God of all life, love and compassion, will never leave you:.Hebrews 13:5. You are never alone.
Psalms 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell therein for ever.

Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom and his tongue talks of judgment.
Comprised with Adam Clarke's Commentary:.they avoid foolish and corrupt conversations because they speak according to the wisdom that is from above.
Psalms 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart.(and this was the difference between the ancient Old Testament Mosaic Law and the New Testament purpose; what's the 'law' in this age of the New Testament?.Matthew 22:36-40); none of his steps shall slide.

Psalms 37:32 The wicked watch the righteous and seeks to slay him.
Always out to gain advantage, not caring of how it may hurt others unimportant to them at the time.
Psalms 37:33 God will not leave him in his hand.(that is, in the hand of a wicked individual{s}), nor condemn him when he is judged.
That is, if you caused harm protecting yourself from the wicked and others judged you wrong for doing so.
Psalms 37:34 Wait on God and keep his way and he shall exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off you shall see it.
Desire to improve, but be careful not to fall into ambitious traps.
Psalms 37:35,36 I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away and lo, he was not: yea, I looked for him, but he could not be found.

Psalms 37:37 Mark.(take note of the individual who is on the spiritual pathway by noticing the light of peace in his or her life).the perfect man and behold the upright, for the purpose.(and end result).of that man is peace.

Psalms 37:38 But transgressors shall be destroyed together. The end of the wicked shall be that they are cut off from life.
How cut off?
Psalms 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord. He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Applies to both protection by God and using your thoughts, that is, do you have saving thoughts and trust in the God of all power to fill the framework of your thoughts? Hear Dr. Murphy here.
Psalms 37:40 And God.helps them and delivers them. He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them because they trust in him.
Trusting in God is trusting in the power God gave us to keep ourselves within the framework of whatever thoughts we used to build that trust.
Psalms 38:1,2 <A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance> O God, rebuke me not in your wrath, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure. For your arrows stick fast in me and your hand presses me sore.

Psalms 38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of your anger, neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

Psalms 38:4-7 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head. As an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled. I am bowed down greatly. I go mourning all the day long.(*). For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease and there is no soundness in my flesh.

Psalms 38:8-11 I am feeble and sore broken. I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. Lord, all my desire is before you.(I realize that there is no other way).and my groaning is not hid from you. My heart pants and my strength fails me. As for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me. My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore and my kinsmen stand afar off.

Psalms 38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things and imagine deceits all the day long.

Psalms 38:13 But I, as a deaf man, I heard not and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.

Psalms 38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not and in whose mouth are no reproofs..(why?)

Psalms 38:15,16 For in you O God do I hope. You will hear.(original for 'you will hear' is 'answer'). O God. For I said. Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me. When my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.
Original for."For I said. Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me. When my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me", would be better rendered - "said (implying 'they say') rejoice, he's about to fall over", or "he's finished" (in the language of today).
Psalms 38:17 For I am ready to halt.(limping with strength almost gone, leaning and almost falling over).and my sorrow is continually before me.

Psalms 38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin.
All sins are come from acting from an ego level consciousness:.Psalms 40:12. And, haven't we all felt this way at times? What can we do?
Psalms 38:19 But my enemies are lively.(original for 'are lively' is just 'live').and they are strong.(original for 'are strong' is 'many').and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.(original for 'multiplied' is 'increased')

Psalms 38:20 They also that render evil for good are my adversaries, because I follow the thing that good is.
1Peter 3:13.
Psalms 38:21,22 Forsake me not. O my God, be not far from me. Make haste to help me, God of my salvation.
