1Peter
3:1 Likewise, you wives, be
in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they
also may without the word be won by the conversation.(word
'conversation' is old English for 'conduct').of
the wives;
1Peter
3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
1Peter
3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting
the hair and of wearing of gold or of putting on of apparel;
1Peter
3:4 But let it be the
hidden individual of the heart, in that which is not corruptible.(not
corruptible because it's one's soul, it never decays,
grows old and dies; the more of the Holy Spirit {?}
you have, the more this is true for
you; your spirit is your soul connected to God and receives the flow
of God coming to you; it's
a supply), even the ornament of a
meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1Peter
3:4, a deeper explanation.
1Peter
3:5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who
trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection.(Ephesians
5:21-33).unto their own
husbands.
1Peter
3:6 Even as Sara obeyed
Abraham,
calling him lord,
whose daughters you are, as long as you do well and are not afraid with
any amazement,
Don't
allow yourself to be brought into any fear or cause of alarm; that is,
doing well in life involves avoiding those things that would cause you
to live in dread,
example, screwing around while not wanting to loose your present partner;
cheating
another in some way, etc. Don't add more negatives to your
life's journey.
1Peter
3:7 Likewise, you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge.(have
an attitude of always learning), giving honour unto the wife.(realize
she is also a spirit, a vessel to be filled with the spirit of the Infinite
One:.Ephesians
5:18 "...be filled with the Spirit."),
as unto the weaker vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life;
that your prayers be not hindered.
1Peter
3:8 Finally, be you all of one mind, having compassion
one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful.(tenderhearted),
be courteous.(original
'friendly'. 'kind', 'sincere friend'; it can make a big difference in another's
life:.Jude
1:22).
1Peter
3:9 Not rendering evil for evil or railing for railing.(arguing
back and forth), but contrariwise blessing.(be
kind to others; do stand up, but respectfully and kindly);
knowing that you are thereunto called, that you'll inherit a blessing.(or,
can be comprehended as, 'you know that you will get back as you are to
others').
And
if that be so, you do unto others as you would have them do unto you:.Matthew
22:36-40. Have the good attitude of realizing that both the bad
and the more severely
evil ones, are just way further behind in their awakening to what this
life is really all about.
1Peter
3:10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain
his tongue.(*).from
evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
Proverbs
15:1; 24:21,22; 25:8-11,15;
James
3:7,8.
1Peter
3:11.(from
Psalms
34:14).Let him eschew
evil and do good. Let him seek peace.(Psalms
37:11).and ensue.(original
implies 'to run swiftly in order to catch something', 'to run after', 'to
press on', 'pursue', as
Paul did).it.
"The
battle of evil is the battle of turning away from it..(*)".…Dieter
Hausler of Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. All people have
been bad, but only bad for a short time if they have a conscience.
Those who move from bad to evil are unable to see far off:.2Peter
1:9.
But to do that
we need to know what evil is.
We don't think of those things negatively affecting us as being evil. In
this satanically highly influenced world,
we have all been bewitched,
affected by the demonic philosophy that all these
negatives are what God wants for us. It was and is a satanic trick
to eventually lock your heart away from the one and only true God of all
life and creation. Take for example the thinking that 'God loves the poor',
which God does. But does that mean one should not aspire
to better than being poor?.John
10:10.
1Peter
3:12 For the eyes of God are over the righteous and his ears are open
unto their prayers. But God is against them that do evil.
If
God's against all evil, why then
is it allowed? Surely God's big enough to fix it.
1Peter
3:13.(verse
here is as the original has it).And
who or what can harm.(make
an evil affect can't happen because you are under the divine
protection of God).you,
if you be a follower of good?
What's
good?
Luke
10:19 "...nothing shall by any means hurt you.".Also,
from verse 15 below."...sanctify
God in your hearts"
If you avoid
having negative thoughts,
then the negative things can't come into your experience,
why?
Things to help you on that:.John
10:10.
1Peter
3:14 But and if you suffer.(on
word 'suffer').for
righteousness
sake, happy are you.(2Corinthians
4:17,18; 1Corinthians 10:13;
Romans
8:28). And be not afraid of their terror, neither be
troubled;
Original
for word 'troubled' is 'agitated',
that is, to get upset over something that bothers you. Why?
Barnes
Notes:.Don't
allow your mind to dwell on anything which another could do to cause terror:.Isaiah
8:12,13; 51:12,13; Proverbs
16:7;
Romans 8:28; Matthew
10:28.
1Peter 3:15 But sanctify God
in your hearts
and you'll.always be ready to give an
answer with meekness and fear.(respect).to
every man that asks.you.a
reason of the hope that is in you.
1Peter
3:15 But sanctify.God
in your hearts.(we are
here to move back
into what we call God; always be aware that you are of God and that divine
protection is all around you).and you'll
always
be ready to give an answer.(proving
what is true:.2Timothy
2:23-26).with meekness
and fear.(Matthew
11:29; James 3:13).to
every man that.asks.you
a reason of the hope that is in you.
One has to
give some information for another to ask something about it, but if after
you've done that, if they don't ask anything about what you've said, they
don't desire an answer and are not wanting to hear any more about it because
they are comfortable with where their intellect and heart is at the time,
so respect where they may be and leave
them alone:.Proverbs
26:17. If their mind is open for truth, what
can you do?
Everything
is
God and unfolding as it should in the multiiverse. The energy of the
multiversal intelligence is acting through the experience of the individual
in front of you there, no matter how bad he or she may be, that is, this
is where that individual is right now in their life.
We are only
here to develop
love, to love others, to pray for
them and meditate about them and their lives here, to think well of them
{Philippians 2:3} by seeing that
the same energy animating
you is also in them. It's just that they may not as yet be connected with
the
Soul through their soul. Any change must come from within them
and that happens by meditation, not by the
approach most of the early disciples took.
Creator.is.in
charge of all and we are here for the purpose
we were put here. Praying for others includes loving your enemies (Matthew
5:44; Luke 6:27,35) and loving
your enemies is not giving them reasons to reject you, where they hate
what you're saying and want nothing to do with you. Instead it's for, in
some way, lifting their minds up and beyond the negatives they believe
in and follow, lifting them up to a
higher consciousness:.Psalms
34:14. It's not what you say, it's what you pray.
1Peter
3:16 Having a good conscience.(one
can't have a good conscience when he or she is often striving with others:.Proverbs
25:8); that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers,
they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation.(word
'conversation' is old English for 'conduct').in
Christ.
1Peter
3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that you suffer.(on
word 'suffer').for
well doing, than for evil doing.
1Peter
3:18 For Christ also has once suffered for sins.(and
once was enough:.Hebrews
9:26), the just for the unjust.(John
3:16,17), that he might bring us to God.(Matthew
11:27), being put to death in the flesh, but quickened.(means
'made alive'; the resurrection).by
the
Spirit,
He
was put to death in the flesh of Emmanuel.
The Christ
in him is eternal, never dies. And, once we awaken to that reality, which
means, come to know it is true, then we too are, as the scriptures says
'dead in Christ':.John
3:16,17.
1Peter
3:19 By which also he.(Christ;
verse above).went and preached
unto the spirits in prison.(?);
Ephesians
4:9.
1Peter
3:20 Which sometime.(notes
of the original word explain it as 'in
time past').were disobedient
when once the longsuffering.of
God waited in the days
of Noah while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight
souls
were saved.(original
for word 'saved' is 'escaped').by
water.
Comprised
with.Adam
Clarke's Commentary:.the
inhabitants of the antediluvian
world were disobedient by flagrant.transgressions
against God, but were allowed by God's patience,
one hundred and twenty years to awaken, that time here represented as being
in prison, while the Spirit of God did work with, convict and reprove the
antediluvians (Genesis 6:3,11,17)
by showing another way, a way of a higher consciousness than what they
were used to living. Those before the flood had ample.opportunity
to change due to the many
prompts that came daily to their minds as they saw this ark being prepared
amongst the wickedness of the general population. It was by this Spirit
that Noah was inspired
and became by his example, the examples of his family (included the way
they were with others in their interactions with them), a preacher of righteousness
and thus condemning the direction that unGodly low consciousness world
was continuing on with:.Hebrews
11:7; 2Peter 2:5.
1Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism
does also now save us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,
but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of
Emmanuel the Christ.
1Peter
3:21 The like figure.(water).whereunto.(toward
what end {purpose}).even baptism.does
also now save us.(Barnes
New Testament Notes:."baptism
corresponded to or had a resemblance to the water by which Noah was saved"),
not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a
good conscience toward God.(now
we know
we're ok in the
Creator's eyes), by the resurrection of Emmanuel the Christ.
The act of
physical baptism is only as good as the one being baptized having belief
in the fact that Emmanuel rose from death as the Christ. Baptism is an
outward ceremony alluding to cleaning the conscience at the time of such
baptism, but it had nothing to do with getting rid of how an individual
might later be in his or her fleshly life.
Paraphrased:
Baptism saves us because it's a mind thing, that is, we believe that because
of the resurrection of Emmanuel being true.(Romans
10:9), we too are resurrected from the death state we were living with,
due to acting evily
out of our low consciousness, not knowing of any better way and now we
are actively moving away from that state and as much as we are able, into
a higher consciousness:.Romans
6:4-13; Colossians 2:12,13;
2Timothy
2:11; Revelation 20:6.
The verse is
saying, like
Noah
was saved by water.(*).by
being in the ark, we too are saved
and this by the fact of Emmanuel's
resurrection. And this saving has nothing to do with the putting away or
the overcoming of whatever fleshly shortcomings remain. God loves us unconditionally.
As one grows spiritually, the
negative things of the mind and any subsequent
actions just fall away. We are also saved by baptism, as it's a symbol
of a good conscience
made available thanks to the resurrection.
1Peter
3:22 Who.(speaking
here of Christ).is
gone.(that
is, is gone back there:.John
17:5).into heaven and is
on the right hand of God, angels
and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Guess
who controls all, even the evil
is allowed so we, the sleepers to true life, can awaken and choose wisely:.Deuteronomy
30:15.
