About Jude

Jude 1:1.Jude, the servant of Emmanuel the Christ and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Emmanuel.the Christ and called.

Jude 1:2 Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation.(this was the simplicity of moving from the ego lower consciousness level to the higher conciousness level of the Spirit simply by deciding to live higher consciousness things), it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints..(Paul's example of earnestly.contending:.2Corinthians 5:2)

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Emmanuel the Christ.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares.(unawares because they pretended to be like the others), who were before of old ordained.(original is 'before written about' {see verses 14,15 below}, that is, for examole, someone of low consciousness was predicted to betray.Emmanuel).to this condemnation.(not that they were particularly selected by God to be these ones worthy of condemnation, but it was more like Judas who betrayed Emmanuel:.Matthew 18:7; Mark 14:21), ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness.(means, they figured, hey! we're under grace, so the more we live as we please and without restraint, no matter how corrupt, the more grace we are under {such are the reasonings of the dark side influenced humans}; one can't turn God's grace into anything but what it is, as it's always grace {what is grace?}; the verse means, by not appreciating the grace available for one's life, he or she is actually denying the presence of love {1John 4:6-8,11,16} and thus, that tacitly shows a decision to not be affected by it or, to put it another way, instead of seeing grace as one of the higher qualities of consciousness, they preferred to see it as some sort of excuse for selfish and corrupt actions).and denying the only Lord God.(means master or head of the family).and our Lord Emmanuel the Christ.(the One who came and showed us the way to be in the family).

Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt.(*), afterward destroyed them that believed not.(sounds like God was cruel; is and was God cruel?).

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate but left their own habitation he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness.

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate.(original for 'first estate' is 'beginning'; in the beginning they were not like that, just as an adult criminal was not like that as a new born baby:.Job 38:7 "When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?").but left their own habitation.(left what they started out with {Isaiah 14:12-14} and did what?.Genesis 6:4; Revelation 12:4).he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness.(they are in blindness, in the light and can only 'see' as it were, can only have affect upon those of mankind, who may be in darkness themselves {what's darkness to mankind?}).unto the judgment of the great day..(the high consciousness of the people of love will change the world)

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Original 'fire from the eternal', that is, it is here showing that the kind of living they lived was of the consciousness that just keeps getting worse and that this was not the way that was good for anyone; comprised with.Barnes Notes:."The cities here mentioned, together with Admah and Zeboim, were destroyed by fire and brimstone, or by a volcanic eruption, on account of their wickedness, resulting from an highly influenced low consciousness. They occupied the place afterwards covered by the Dead Sea, bounding Palestine on the south-east:.Genesis 19:24,25. Christ said that their punishment will be more tolerable, that is, more easily borne than that of the people who reject his gospel, the reason is, that they were not favoured with so much light and instruction: Matthew 11:23,24. Sodom and Gomorrah are often referred to as signal instances of Divine vengeance and as sure proofs that the wicked shall not go unpunished: 2Peter 2:6".

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion and speak evil of dignities.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Clarke's Commentary:."This may signify Moses himself or that in which he was particularly concerned, his institutes, religion."; that is, what one does in life goes into the so-called collective consciousness; it could be that the dispute was not about the physical body of Moses, but about what effect all Moses stood for would mean to those coming after him in following the Mosaic Law, the essence of which would be in the collective consciousness all the way on and up until the time when it would be abolished by the death and resurrection of Emmanuel who became the Christ, for this is all the people would have had until that time; if the devil would have been able to influence the frequencies that would be drawn from the collective consciousness when such things to do with Moses' words which became the Mosaic Law came into people's minds back then, as stimulated by both the environment of their worship practices and by their conversations, he would be able to cause much disarray in the form of confusion and who knows the long term effects which this may have had?; probably it was that the people revered Moses so much, as he met and and spoke directly with God, that they felt strongly influenced, no doubt by the dark side, to keep his body around, but that was not in the plan man:.Deuteronomy 34:6-9.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not. And what they know naturally.as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not. And what they know naturally.as brute.(original for word 'brute' is 'destitute of reason', 'not listening', that is, obstinate).beasts.(just like an animal; the selfish ways man comes with often become amplified as they learn various.manipulations growing up in life), in those things.(?).they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear. Clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints.

The origin of these words of Enoch has either been removed by those who have altered the Bible many times, removing some books or Enoch only spoke the words;.Matthew Poole's Commentary:.Jude doesn't say wrote and therefore from hence it cannot be proved that there was any such book as Enoch's prophecies received by the Jews as canonical.Scripture, but rather some prophecy of his delivered to them by tradition, to which here the apostle.refers, as a thing known among them; there is a later book called the Book of Enoch, but it is regarded with the other spurious books and it is not known at this time what is in it.

Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers.(original implies, 'negative, discontented people'), complainers, walking after their own lusts.(selfish).and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.(they make you feel good {'we really appreciate you being here and your hard work in this corporation', but no, we can't give you a raise at this time, maybe next year, oh and I hope both you and Julie can come to the Christmas party} just to gain something from you or an advantage over you, such as was done to the North American natives).

Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Emmanuel the Christ;

Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.(praying is one of four activities a person can use to get into and remain in higher consciousness),

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Emmanuel Christ unto eternal life.

Jude 1:21 Keep.(original also is 'watch, attend to carefully' {2Corinthians 3:18}, be on the qui vive; to put it another way, Keep yourself aligned with God as your life moves along).yourselves in the love of God.(how? by looking; if one looks for, one finds:.Ecclesiastes 1:13; Matthew 7:7), looking for.(original for 'looking for' is 'allowing', 'accepting').the mercy.(the kindness).of our Lord Emmanuel Christ unto eternal life.(in other words, allow yourself to be the workmanship of He whom you trust:.Ephesians 2:10).

Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion.(be compassionate toward others), making a difference.(original is 'causing them to see it from another angle'; they'll come to understand that there is more to their lives than what they previously understood).

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling.(falling into what?.Hebrews 12:1).and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy..(He's got joy over you {Job 7:17,18}, do you have joy over you?.2Timothy 1:12)

Jude 1:25 To the only wise God.(1Timothy 1:17) our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
