1Peter
2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice and all guile, and hypocrisies,
and envies and all evil speakings.
1Peter
2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere
milk of the word.(*),
that you may grow
thereby.
1Peter
2:3 If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1Peter
2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men,
but chosen of God and precious.
1Peter
2:5 You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an
holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices.(one
is and others
are; note it says spiritual sacrifices, not those things based upon
a lot of physical religious do's & don'ts as was the case in Old
Testament times with the Mosaic Law),
acceptable to God by.(or
'through' or by
means of, as the original can also mean).Emmanuel
the Christ.(*).
1Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the
scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious
and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.
1Peter
2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay
in Sion
a chief corner stone.(Psalms
118:22,23; Isaiah 28:16; Matthew
21:42; Acts 4:11), elect,
precious and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.(or,
as the original has it for word 'confounded', 'ashamed', that is, you won't
be sorry later for believing in this stone which is Christ, as probably
has happened to you with believing in other things in your life that you
may have accepted as being true, such as 'I told others to invest in this
great deal I got into, which eventually turned to nothing')
This
New
Testament quote."not
be confounded".is
actually from the Old
Testament, from Isaiah 28:16,
where the original there is."not
make haste", as one would if he was in fear,
such as fears of losing out on something, so one better act now. It is
saying that when you trust the Great Infinite One, fear
of anything, if it still exists in you, is to show you that your trust
in Him needs to increase and as trust in Him increases so does more
guidance come to you for making decisions or not to make decisions.
1Peter
2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious, but unto them
which be disobedient.(original
for 'disobedient' is 'unable to believe', why
was this?), the stone.(verse
6).which the builders disallowed,
the same is made the head of the corner,
1Peter
2:8 And a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence, even to them which
stumble at the word, being disobedient.(verse
6), whereunto also they were appointed.(wasn't
their time yet).
1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth
the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous
light.
1Peter
2:9 But you are a chosen generation.(original
'kind', a specific group of high consciousness people), a royal
priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar.(original
is 'purchased into God'

1Peter
2:11 Dearly beloved I beseech
you as strangers.(Hebrews
11:13).and pilgrims.(not
of this world), abstain
from fleshly lusts.(these
lower based consciousness things are not of the higher consciousness Soul
level but of the ego level; they
keep a lock on the door to higher
consciousness living, the solution of which is, being
good).which
war against the
soul.(that is,
they
cut you off from it).
1Peter

of evildoers and for the praise of them that do well.
1Peter
2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing.(well
doing).you may put to silence
the ignorance of foolish men.
1Peter
2:16 As free and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness,
but as the servants of God.
1Peter
2:17 Honour all men.(Philippians
2:3). Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.(*).

grief, suffering wrongfully.
1Peter
2:20 For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted for your faults,
you shall take it patiently? But if, when you do well and suffer.(on
word 'suffer' please see verse 21).for
it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.(words
"acceptable with God" in the original are "grace
of God").
1Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were you called,
because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that
you
should follow his steps.
1Peter
2:21 For even hereunto were you called, because Christ also suffered.(original
is 'to be affected by', 'to feel', 'to have empathy
and passion over what His mind had compassion
about' and 'experienced both good and evil' {Hebrews
5:14} and 'to undergo in a good sense and in a bad sense'; in other
words he lived life, he experienced life and was affected
by it; more on word 'suffer'; His
experiences were for an example for us, one example was
His
compassion for others, another was His
lessons for us; people were no longer shut out or shoved
away, such as they were by others motivated at the
ego level:.Matthew
19:13,14; 23:4; He suffered,
that is, he experienced for us {Hebrews
2:10} in order to leave an example of living love no matter what
{Matthew 5:44,45} and what
example did He leave?.1Peter
4:1,2; we are not here for the purpose of suffering:.James
5:10), leaving us an example.(1Timothy
6:13), that you should follow his steps.(follow
His steps, His example, His example of spirituality, of love and kindness,
not that you should suffer as He did in the flesh; that was 'once for all'
and once was sufficient:.Hebrews

1Peter
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled
not again; when he suffered he threatened not, but committed
himself to him that judges righteously..(or
'delivered righteous judgement', looked at things in life from a
higher consciousness point of view)
1Peter
2:24 Who his own self bare
our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to
sins, should live.(original
'now live').unto righteousness.(that
is, because of His righteousness); by whose stripes.(*).you
were healed.(or
as the original also has it 'made whole').
1Peter
2:25 For you were as sheep going astray,
