-I have a friend
at work whom I wish would accept Christ. Are there things I could say to
guide her in this regard? My pastor says to talk to others about Emmanuel
so they can be saved and will go to heaven.
Accepting Christ means...
Acts
16:30-34 "And brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to
be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord.Emmanuel
Christ and you are saved and your house. And they spake unto him the
word of the Lord and to all that were in his house. And he took them the
same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was
baptized,
he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house,
he set meat.(a
table of food).before
them and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house."
1Corinthians
9:19-23 "For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself
servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became
as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as
under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that
are without law, as without law, being not without law to God, but under
the law to Christ, that I might gain them that are without law. To the
weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak. I am made all things
to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the
gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you."
1Timothy
1:5 "Now the end of the commandment is charity.(word
'charity' is old English for 'love').out
of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned."
Acts
1:3 "To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many
infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the
things pertaining to the kingdom of God."
Creator has a
work
program leading to a great reward so each
of us can be established for eternity. Salvation.(being
in the
Kingdom of God).is
a gift. How's that
work for others? You are there now if you have Christ's nature of
love
in you. What you now do determines what position you will have there,
just
like in a company here and now.
If the Creator is calling
her, what you may say.(1Peter
3:15).will
make some sense to her. Her mind will be open, alert to and welcome to
the things of God and Emmanuel the Christ and things said intermediaries
such as Bruno and Grabovoi.
If not responsive now, Emmanuel said that if they hear, they'll come to
Him.(John
6:45), but all
in God's good time.
But for those engulfed in
this life, with evidence of no interest in spiritual
matters, let them be where they are:.Hosea
4:17 "Ephraim
is joined to idols. Let
him alone." Ecclesiastes 3:11
"...also he has set the world in their heart, so that no man.(at
the ego level of living).can
find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.(and
that's why the normal low consciousness
of men hijacked
Darwin's theory of evolution to perpetuate
it as a way to separate man from the truth of the Creator for their own
nefarious
purposes and why they do other
things against good people)." Acts
19:9 "But when divers
non believers spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed
from them and separated.(split
up).the
disciples, instead disputing.(explained
clearly the things of the true God to them).daily
in the school of one Tyrannus. Acts 5:38
"And now I say unto you Refrain from these men and let them alone..."
Isaiah
26:10 "Let favour be shown to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness.(no
one in this life can permanently change his or her heart on
their own). In the land of uprightness
he will deal unjustly and will not behold the majesty of the Lord." Matthew
15:14 "Let them alone. They be blind leaders of the blind. And if the
blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."
"Leave your neighbor in peace!
If you want to gossip about him,
if you want to condemn
him, that's already evil.
First get on the path yourself, so that you can teach him.(2Timothy
2:15), so that you can guide him
onto this path, so that you can speak of truth to him, the way you yourself
have experienced it!"....Bruno
Gröning.
If the mind is not yet open.(still
eagerly going after material things and overly
having little, if any, concern for spiritual life here and beyond, still
involved in the glory and heartaches of physical living).it
will all appear as being foolishness:.1Corinthians
2:14; Job 15:20. Remember some
people regard anything to do with God and Christ as a cross between a fire
escape and a Christmas tree!
But give the other some truth
and see if its handled positively or negatively. The soul responds to honest
words:.Acts
11:14 "Who shall tell you words, whereby you and all your house shall
be saved."
God
is a family and in reaching
others with the gospel,
we all have a part. Remember it is the example of your life as
they get to know you, as well as your
words and your presentation, that glorifies
God to them. The key here is your
love to others.
And don't 'beat things to
death' where others come
to the point of 'dying to see you leave':.Proverbs
25:17 "Withdraw your foot from your neighbour's house lest he be weary
of you and so hate you."
"Some cause happiness wherever
they go; others, whenever they go."....Oscar
Wilde.
The Holy
Spirit uses truth to build on.(2Thessalonians
2:14;
Acts 16:30-32; 1Corinthians
3:11; 1Timothy 6:19).and
we need
wisdom to always
be pleasant:.Colossians
4:5.
Some things to talk about
if you think anyone would be interested in and accepting of them: Tell
your own story. Ask if he or she knows about
Emmanuel, about Christ? Ask if they now feel that God is calling her
into the family of God while she is alive? Ask if she wants change in how
her life has been? Perhaps she already decided to be an individual of love
and therefore already has God's nature of love within here?.If.she
asks.for
study guidance.(1Peter
3:15), perhaps study the word of
God with her, maybe first about Emmanuel and a relationship
with the Father and about the Holy Spirit,
the nature of love of the
Great Infinite One. Show her some key scriptures, such as here.
On,
going to heaven.
On,
pushing literature on others and going door to door.
These
things also are how one gets to know Christ:.Philippians
3:10; 1John 5:20.
