-I have a friend
at work whom I wish would accept Christ. Are there things I could say to
guide her in this regard? My pastor says to talk to others about Emmanuel
so they can be saved and will go to heaven.
Accepting Christ means...
16:30-34 "And brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to
be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord.Emmanuel
Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. And they spake unto him
the word of the Lord and to all that were in his house. And he took them
the same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was
he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house,
he set meat.(a
table of food).before
them and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house."
9:19-23 "For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself
servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became
as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as
under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that
are without law, as without law, being not without law to God, but under
the law to Christ, that I might gain them that are without law. To the
weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak. I am made all things
to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the
gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you."
1:5 "Now the end of the commandment is charity.(word
'charity' is old English for 'love').out
of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned."
1:3 "To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many
infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the
things pertaining to the kingdom of God."
Creator has a
program leading to a great reward so each
of us can be established for eternity. Salvation.(being
Kingdom of God).is
a gift. You are there now if you have Christ's nature of
in you. What you now do determines what position you will have there,
like in a corporation here and now.
If the Creator is calling
her, what you may say.(1Peter
make some sense to her. Her mind will be open, alert to and welcome to
the things of God and Emmanuel the Christ. If not, Emmanuel said that if
they hear, they'll come to Him.(John
6:45), but all
in God's good time.
But for those engulfed in
this life, with evidence of no interest in spiritual
matters, let them be where they are:.Hosea

him alone." Ecclesiastes 3:11
"...also he has set the world in their heart, so that no man.(at
the ego level of living).can
find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.(and
that's why the normal low consciousness
of men hijacked
Darwin's theory of evolution to perpetuate
it as a way to separate man from the truth of the Creator for their own
5:38 "And now I say unto you Refrain from these men and let them alone..."
26:10 "Let favour be shown to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness.(no
one in this life can permanently change his or her heart on their own).
In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly and will not behold the
majesty of the LORD." Matthew 15:14
"Let them alone; they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead
the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."
If the mind is not yet open.(still
eagerly after material things and overly
having little, if any, concern for her spiritual life here and beyond,
still involved in the glory and heartaches of physical living).it
will all be foolishness to her:.1Corinthians

people regard religion as a cross between a fire escape and a Christmas

we all have a part. Remember it is the example of your life as
they get to know you, as well as your

God to them. The key here is your
love to others.

Some things to talk about
if you think she would be interested in and accepting of them: Tell her
your own story. Ask her if she knows about
Emmanuel, if she now feels that Emmanuel is calling her into the family
of God? Ask if she wants change in how her life has been? Perhaps she already
decided to be a person of love and therefore already has God's nature of
love within here?.If.she
