-Set a proper example
and your children will be blessed as they are bound to follow your example:.Proverbs
20:7 "The just man walks
in his integrity.
His children are blessed after him." Proverbs
13:22 "A good man leaves an inheritance to his childrens' children.....".No
problem today right? The young will inherit the stupidly growing national
debt added to annually by the deficit.
Do you recall your first
memory and how old you were then? What was it? Happy I hope. Aim for making
your children's first memory
one they will be pleased to recall. First memories are a base for a child's
later life.
-Proverbs
31:27 "She looks well to
the ways of her household and eats not the bread of idleness. Her children
arise up and call her blessed; her husband.(original
is 'man').also
and he praises her."
Titus
2:4,5 ".....the young women to be sober.(original
is 'self-controlled, holding on to their duties' {as a mother and partner}),
to love.(original
is 'be friendly toward sex').their
husbands, to love.(original
is 'be a friend to').their
children. To be discreet.(original
is 'to have an eye to keeping the family safe'; but
should she ever lie?), chaste.(original

'caring for the things to do with the home'),
good.(original
is 'pleasant, agreeable, joyful, happy, upright, honourable, dignified'),

'adapting to the man's ways and time' as the main breadwinner).to
their own husbands that the word of God be not blasphemed."
-1Peter
3:1-5 "Likewise, you wives,
be in subjection.(same
original as 'obedient' in above scripture).to
your own husbands; that,
if
any obey not the word they also may without the word be won.(eliminate
all options by providing the best love you know how to).by
the conversation.(old
English word for 'conduct'; remember the goal is to win the other person
over, not yap and yap to try to talk them into something).of
the wives; while they behold your chaste.(pure,
clean, immaculate)
conversation
coupled with fear. Whose adorning
let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair and of wearing
of gold or of putting on of apparel, but let it be the hidden person of
the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek
and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after
this manner in the old time the holy women
also who trusted in God, adorned themselves being in subjection unto
their own husbands."
Ephesians 5:1
"Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children."
Ephesians
6:1-4 "Children, obey.(original
is 'listen to and learn from', to 'hearken').your
parents in the Lord;
for this is right. Honour.(show
recognition
and appreciation;
value
them, why?).your
father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise, that it
may be well with you and that you may live long on the Earth. And fathers,
provoke
not your children to wrath.(do
not always be antagonizing
them, getting after them about something or the other),
but bring them up in the nurture
and admonition
of the Lord.".Why?
So the child can rediscover its
spiritual connection.
-Colossians
3:20 "Children, obey.(original
is 'to hearken
to', to listen carefully to).your
parents in all things for this is well pleasing unto the Lord."
-Titus
1:6 ".....having faithful children not accused of riot
or unruly.(original
is 'not put under'; 'not made subject', 'unsubjected', those that cannot
be subjected to control; they are disobedient, unruly, refractory',
that is, they just won't
listen and constantly resist wisdom by going 'their own way')."

nutrition plays a huge part in a child's well being, mentally, emotionally
and physically. And of course his
safety too!
