-Once we become
thankful
for
everything, even problems evaporate:.Psalms
69:30. How's this work?
This is true:.if
things seem to be 'taking you away' from joy
in life, one isn't thankful. The ancient Israelites were very unthankful
for the good that was done:.Judges
8:34,35. Today it's much the same.
Changing to a mind of being
thankful causes negatives to cease
and reverse. That's because being
grateful.aligns
one with this higher consciousness quality of the Infinite Intelligence
and thereby draws power from this Everliving Energy Field of Supreme Intelligence
into your life, thus, washing you, cleaning
you up as the now
unnecessary physical form of baptism used to signify:.1Corinthians
6:11; Hebrews 10:22; Revelation
1:5.
And here we realize that
Creator-God is over
all things good.
Everything good is of the
oneness, that is, this oneness is below
the atom, below and in the
invisible, the invisible from where all life comes and from which all
is
maintained. Everything has a purpose and all towards higher
consciousness. Even the evil, by its contrast with that which is good,
points toward a better consciousness, a better way for people to focus
upon, because having it in one's consciousness brings it into reality.
See the move The Grand Self
on this and see also Bob Proctor.
What have we got to be thankful
for? Well, you have an annual
free trip around the Sun. And, every year in northern climates you
get a free large size outdoor refrigerator/freezer, no electricity necessary.
Every year you get free flowers in the spring and free amazing colored
'paintings' in the fall when the tree leaves change color. You get free
food from the Sun. Hey! What more do
you want? Ha ha! Free opposite sex? noun or verb or both?
Find
someone you
can like.
One fellow I know of who
has
cerebral
palsy and walked and spoke so poorly, so much so that, when he spoke,
few could make out what he was saying, began to apply.1Thessalonians
5:18. He now can speak clearly enough and walk properly enough to be
an effective member of society and he continues to improve.
Being
thankful for the negatives causes them to begin to evaporate because
it destroys negative frequencies bound to you. Because all
is frequencies, one can replace the ones not wanted with ones wanted.
The darkness of illness can't be where the high consciousness of
light is.
If you have a greed problem,
poverty problem, sex problem, anger problem or what have you? Stop
wrestling with your problem:.Matthew
11:29,30. Be thankful for it. Say "God, thank you that I'm a sex pervert.
Somehow I know you are using all this to turn it to good for me and in
some way for the good of others:.Romans
8:28. The fact you have thankful attention on your weaknesses causes
them to dissipate. Thankfulness puts you in a different mind toward
others and things that seem like serious problems at the time.
Sound crazy huh! But know
this, the Creator can remove not one, but every single problem you
may have in a second of time.(actually
no time, as He dwells in eternity;
time
is only for the human experience);
but He does not, because of concern for our character growth. It's up to
us. Creator doesn't override
anyone. So try being thankful for them and see what happens!.Colossians
3:15; John 3:17.
A nice story on it:
The story is told of a king
in Africa who had a close friend with whom he grew up. The friend had a
habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life.(positive
or negative).and
remarking "This is good!"
One day the king and his
friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare
the guns for the king. The friend had apparently done something wrong in
preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the
king fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation, the
friend remarked as usual "This is good!"
To which the king replied
"No, this is not good!" and proceeded to send his friend to jail.
About a year later, the king
was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals
captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked
some wood, set up a stake and bound him to it.
As they came near to set
fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being
superstitious,
they never ate anyone who was less than whole. So untying the king, they
sent him on his way.
As he returned home, he was
reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse
for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak
with his friend.
"You were right" he said
"it was good that my thumb was blown off". And he proceeded to tell the
friend all that had just happened. "And so, I am very sorry for sending
you to jail for so long. It was bad for me to do this."
"No" his friend replied "This
is good"!
"What do you mean 'This is
good'? How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"
"If I had not been in jail,
I would have been with you and not here with you right now. And, being
whole, they would have taken me."
From Paramahansa
Yogananda:."Beholding
goodness in everything.(*),
you will certainly find that one day the Invisible Power will shatter all
the little windows of thoughts and sensations and feelings through which
you have been seeing only glimpses of the divine harmony in creation; you
will behold through an infinite opening the omnipresent Goodness, God.(*).
"You must be a divine bee,
tasting nothing but the sweetness, the goodness, of the honey of God. Remember
that and try to absorb in yourself the good qualities of others. By adoring
and tasting human goodness, we can find God. He is the honey and in His
honeyed qualities in others we will taste His presence everywhere.
"Thinking, reading and repeating
statements of truth with deep attention will help to clear away negation
and to establish a positive attitude in your mind. Repeat your prayers
and affirmations with deep concentration until you establish a habit of
thought, until it becomes as natural for you to think in the right way
as it previously was for you to think negatively.
"O Father….Bless me, that
I may find Thee in the temple of each thought and activity. Finding Thee
within, I shall find Thee without, in all people and all conditions."
In a very unusual way, the
message here unfolds into exposing the following principle about life.
"Absolutely everything happens
for a purpose and out of what seems like adversity
at the time always comes good":.Romans
8:28. Be thankful.for
everything:.1Thessalonians
5:18 "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ
Emmanuel
concerning you.".Guess
who's in charge?
I'm sure that if any of us
care to reflect back on the tragedies, the heartaches, the 'bad times'
in our lives, we'll discover that we have really grown or developed during
that period of time, even though the reflection may still cause us discomfort
in some way.
It is in this way that we
slowly gather experience and wisdom and even though we may think or feel
that it is unfair, that's the way it is.
"This is good". Many of our
life's experiences have saved us from some form of cannibals; it's just
that we often don't know that they have at the time.
So, for a simple example
to help with awareness: next time you may begin to feel you are being 'wronged'
by being stuck in a traffic jam, think about the cannibals that could be
lurking down the road a bit, but will be gone by the time you get there.
Now that's a bit different,
but worth trying: "this is good" despite the circumstances.
Remember: "What others do
or say is their stuff; how we react or not, is our stuff"!
And:."True
Happiness in life isn't having what you want, but wanting what you have"!....©

-A prayer to help you move
from being a mostly externally programmed individual and onward to a higher
realm: 'Father, increase your effective presence in me so that the I's,
the me's, the ifs, the doubts of my life, evaporate in the light of your
indwelling presence. Help me to have responsibility. Just take me over
with your love.'.1Thessalonians
