-commandment
keeping: One does not have a relationship
with our Creator by trying to please Him with commandment keeping:.Hebrews
7:19,22,25.
Hebrews
7:28 talks of what was since the law, yet many follow those who tell
them that the way to God is by keeping the commandments. Many Christians
lack the strong consolation
and sureness of their stance with God and focus instead, on their weaknesses:.Hebrews
6:17-19.
Do we know the Creator because
we keep the commandments, tithe, etc. or because He
is merciful to us and made sin to no longer count against us?:.Hebrews
8:8-10,12.
When you're into the parts
of the ancient and now abolished Mosaic Law, whether it be the commandments
or whatever, you are into looking to the blood of bulls and goats and not
the blood of Emmanuel for redemption, as you can not separate any part
of this old covenant to use it with any efficacy
in one's relationship
with God under the new
covenant.
Hebrews
10:1:.why
would one be interested in a 'shadow' when the reality is available?
The choice for those intent
upon a relationship with their Creator is to live by faith or draw back
to physical obedience to a law that the Creator abolished.
What I mean by physical obedience
is: the law never did have anything to do with the perfectness of the Spirit:.Hebrews
7:19. That realm belongs only to Christ:.1John
4:15-17; Hebrews 2:10.
Since it's belief that saves
the soul.(Hebrews
10:39; Luke 8:12; Acts
15:11; 16:31;
Romans
10:9), why take a step backward
into anything else?
What was it that caused those
in times past to obtain a good report? Was it commandment keeping,
tithing,
church
attendance, having the minister and his family over for chicken dinner
or was it faith?.Hebrews
11:1,2.
-dispensation:
The method or scheme or plan according to which the Creator carries out
his purposes towards men is called a dispensation.(dispensing
His plan of worldly affairs as humanity goes through time).
There are usually reckoned three dispensations,
the
Patriarchal,
the Mosaic or Jewish.(example
Hebrews
9:10).and
the Christian.
The dispensation of the fullness
of times mentioned in Ephesians 1:10
has to do with the overall plan the Great Infinite One has for all His
creation and is being dispensed
as humanity moves toward that end. How does humanity move toward that end
if not by growing spiritually?.2Peter
1:2; 3:18.
The culmination
of the periods of man's existence necessary for completing this plan for
man, the key point here being that of the presence of Christ on Earth:.Galatians
4:4; Hebrews 1:2; 9:10;
Acts
3:20,21.
