3:16,17. To quit a bad habit, first isolate
it from your actions. In your consciousness, your mind, see it as separate
from you and that you are now done with it.
Addictions are evil programs
that reign over you to your own destruction. These programs can be deleted,

Get quiet and ask the
Great Infinite Intelligence why you smoke, drink, do drugs, sex addictions,
etc. See what comes to mind. Are you trying to escape from something? Is
there something that continually gnaws at your soul, such as resentment,
unresolved hurts, etc.? Do you drink for comfort? Do you eat to ease the
burden and to treat yourself? Have you crossed the line from eating to
live into living to eat? Has cocaine 'comfort' become the be all end all?

Addictions are a selfish
thing of
the spirit, which have as
their base, desire to express meaning or personal purpose by outgoing love
and service to others. If this remains unexpressed, frustrations accumulate,
and satisfaction for existence is often sought elsewhere..
A proven program to help
has been teenagers on drugs who were given a chance to help others, in
lieu
of jail time. Once involved with other disabled and handicapped children,
some in wheelchairs, a concern was expressed for their welfare, which in
turn healed most of those addicted, setting them on a radically different
path. The light of love was seen in their eyes and actions.
Ask Him to deliver you from
particular addictions you may have which can or are now hurting you. Escape
is through Him. Ask Him for guidance in order to allow more of His
Holy Nature to flow in and through you, so that He in you is superior
to any difficulty you may now be encountering:.1John
