-What does it mean
to ask "in Emmanuel's
name"?
Well, what does 'in his name'
mean?.Matthew.18:20.
It means turning unto Him, being
in Him and He
in you. Important to be this way if you are to know the Father:.Matthew
11:27. And if that be the case, you're in
the family! And then, how good is that for you?.1John
3:22; 5:14,15.
When you call into a group
for someone, you call their name. If that individual would happen to trust
you enough to act on his behalf, he may give you 'power
of attorney'.
"In Emmanuel's name" means
you are in the same mind,
the same consciousness as he has and therefor
in with others in that body of believers; in alignment with others in the
love consciousness that created it all, the love consciousness that we
call the Creator or the Father:.Galatians
4:6 "And because you are
sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,
Abba,
Father.".1John
4:7,8,16.
You are an equal member of
the
God family when you are in that family and therefore,
in
alignment with the high consciousness of that family.
What you then do in his name
is
brought about.
If we ask of the Father something.(to
know for sure that you are not being selfish in this, see
here), it is done for you:.John
16:24,26,27. You can pray directly to the Father with as much assurance
as Emmanuel had when He did, because he was aware of the oneness of this
Infinite Being:.John
11:41,42;
Colossians 3:17.
Why?
Emmanuel's job on Earth was to direct us to the Creator-Father.
...See
the
question "At the end of every prayer in church, they always say 'and
we ask all this and give thanks in the name of Emmanuel, Amen'. Couldn't
this become vain repetition?"
"In His name" means more.
-Why is Emmanuel
called the Lamb of God?.John
1:29-36 and Revelation 13:8;
21;27.
As the ancient Passover
lamb.typified,
it was God's plan
that innocent and perfect Emmanuel the Christ
be slain so that we too would continue to be in the eternal relationship
with Him and the Father, we all had at the beginning of humanity lasting
forever,
no end to it:.2Timothy
1:9.
It was never
one's accepting of Christ that religion taught, that mattered,
it was Christ's gift of his life for each of us that mattered and for that
we show thankfulness.
-Did Emmanuel have a sexual
relationship with Mary Magdalene?
Unlikely, as He knew at an
early age that the prophecies in the Old Testament referred to Him.(Luke
2:40-52).and
having the fulness of the spirit of His Father the Infinite One, Emmanuel
would have felt this way in the following verses:.1Corinthians
7:26,27; Matthew 19:11,12.
He would not have taken a female partner and perhaps starting a family,
knowing He would not be around for them.
