-What did Emmanuel mean when He said what He did in Luke 18:8 about finding faith on the Earth when He comes?

It takes faith to live a sacrificial life in service, love and help to others. Many.(but for sure, not all).persons with considerable wealth and possessions, often exhibit the least compassion, compassion backed up by works.

Some persons prefer not to wait for the no more tears time.(Acts 3:19-21; Isaiah 25:8; 26:19; 60:19,20; Hosea 13:14; Revelation 7:17; 21:4; *) and try to ensure their life has that "no more tears" time now in the physical:.Matthew 25:25 "And I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the Earth....." Matthew 25:30 "And cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory." Matthew 25:32 "And before him shall be gathered all nations. And he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats." Matthew 25:33 "And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left." Matthew 25:34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." Matthew 25:35-40 "For I was an hungred and you gave me meat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. Naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came unto me. Then shall the righteous.(the so-called righteous {*}, the goats).answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and fed you? Or thirsty and gave you drink? When saw we thee a stranger and took thee in? Or naked and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick or in prison and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." Matthew 25:41-45 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand.(the goats), Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was an hungred and you gave me no meat. I was thirsty and you gave me no drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in. Naked and you clothed me not. Sick and in prison and you visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred or athirst or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister unto you? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me." Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment. But the righteous into life eternal."

Few spiritual persons that I know have been concerned enough about their spiritual brothers and sisters and others who may be in need, to seek them out:.Matthew 10:42 "And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward." Mark 9:42 "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he were cast into the sea.".Few are ready and willing to sacrifice today in order to do the good works that would ensure a high reward for them in the real life to come. Instead they blithely pursue selfish concerns, seemingly.oblivious to what their lives are really here for.

There will be many religious people on Earth when Christ returns, many of them Christians who will be expecting something from Him:.Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven...Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name have cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful works.(works of involvement like church supporting, church attendance, helping bake for the church bazaar, assisting in the church dinner; works yes, but not necessarily works of compassion; not necessarily works that risk part of one's personal security for the sake of another)?...And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you that work iniquity."

Many would rather not hear these things, preferring instead to feel that their part is being done by things that make them feel good, and they tend to avoid the helping of others to the point of financial pain. They, in effect are saying:.Isaiah 30:10 ".....Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.".They are in effect saying, Let us live our Christianity our way, the way that makes us feel good and does not smack at our security.

Some think that Christ is really not the sustenance they want at this time in their life and so they may back away from any hint of action that portends hard times. They perhaps don't realize this time for us is a pressure cooker and prefer more self-contentment.

Preferring short sighted self-contentment instead of effort they may be comfortable taking, they limit a reward for themselves. Never relegate yourself to less than you know you can accomplish. But also be wise. Don't jump headlong into that which you think you may not be comfortable with.

Everyone is different and at different stages in their lives. All deserve to be respected where they are with their outlooks, which change from time to time anyway. God loves and accommodates all types, because God makes up deficiencies, as shown in the story of Gideon's army:.Judges 7:2-7.

So, what about.Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
