-What's it mean."with
groanings that can't be uttered"?
The original word in the
Greek for."groanings".means."to
shed tears", "to weep silently", "to express grief by inarticulate
or semi-articulate
sounds", "to groan". At times we struggle to express in
articulate
language the desires of our hearts. Perhaps this is why some 'speak
in tongues'.
-Mark
16:18 What about taking serpents in hand?
We do not try God to see
if He is with us by making a show of picking up snakes. A true spiritual
person knows that God is.always.there.
This is called faith, but if
something that we call 'accidental' occurs.
This verse is saying that
if something like what happened to Paul, happens to you, God is with you:.Acts
28:2-6; Isaiah 43:2.
-Galatians 1:4.Does
this mean there is a degree of deliverance?
-John
6:40 Does this scripture mean we actually have to both believe and
see Emmanuel
to be saved?
Many of the Jews
way back then had seen him, but few believed on him.
Emmanuel in talking to the
scribes
and Pharisees.(and
read the whole 8th chapter of John to get the context),
said in.John
8:56,57 "Your father.(father
in ancestry,
many generations earlier).Abraham
rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad. Then said the Jews unto
him, You are not yet fifty years old and have you seen Abraham?"
Emmanuel in talking to the
disciples said.Matthew
13:16,17 "But blessed are your eyes, for they see and your ears for
they hear. For verily
I say unto you, That many prophets
and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see and have
not seen them and to hear those things which you hear and have not heard
them."
The seeing here is a 'seeing'
that denotes
a sureness of belief:.Hebrews
11:27 "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king,
for he endured as seeing him who is invisible." Hebrews
11:1 "Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen." 1Peter 1:8 "Whom
having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing,
you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory."
-John
4:23 What does it mean."to
worship the Father in spirit"?
Know first what
'worship' means.
So then,
worship
in spirit.
