Acts
13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets
and teachers; as Barnabas and Simeon that was called Niger and Lucius of
Cyrene and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch
and Saul.
Acts
13:2 As they ministered the ways of God and fasted, the Holy Ghost
said.(how?),
Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
Acts
13:3,4 And when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on
them.(Acts
8:14-17), they sent them away. So they, being sent forth
by the Holy Ghost, departed
unto Seleucia and from thence they sailed to
Cyprus.
Acts
13:5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in
the synagogues of Judaism and they had also John.(this
John was John Mark, who wrote the book
of Mark).to their minister.(that
is, was helping them; was of service to them; was assistant
to the others)
Acts
13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found
a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Judean,
whose name was BarEmmanuel,
There
were two categories
of people here. Those that came from Judah
and those that adopted Judaism long after so they could hide within by
calling themselves a new name 'the
Jew' and continue to do evil, no one finding their true identity:.Revelation
3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say
they are of the ancestry of Judah and are not, but do lie.(telling
the exact truth is impossible for these inveterate
liars, all those influenced by Satan's dark side minions
are the same:.2Corinthians
11:13).saying
they are and calling themselves Jews. Behold, I will make them to come
and worship before your feet and to know that I have loved you.".These
are known today as the Khazarian.mafia
and Askenazi,
a line having come through ancient
Cain
down and through Esau and Esau's
descendants. God had both Esau and Jacob specifically born. Esau's purpose
was to keep his brother Jacob and his descendants in line, that is, God
provided by creating Esau to be an antagonist
of Jacob's line, right up to and including today. We just have to choose
trusting God, that all He
does is good.ultimately.
Who
are these evil ones today? Why has God used them throughout history
in 'kicking' Jacob's descendants back onto the right path? God's chosen
people were Jacob and his line
of descent up to today. They were never a cruel, warlike people, as Esau
was and as such those of Jacob avoided conflict as much as possible:.Romans
12:18. Those of the Jacob line do so today by easily complying, for
example, with the covid con's idiotic and satanically evil authoritarian
pronouncements. But these generally good hearted people who just wanted
to be left alone to live their lives, had long ago drifted away from God.
They needed to be alerted to this and awakened to why evils were affecting
them, so that something could be done about their drifting from God. They
needed some impetus
in turning them around to the good way God wanted for them. And so that's
the reason for Esau and his posterity,
right up to and including today. And this will continue until Jacob's descendants
today (who have no idea who they today are) wake up. There is one way to
awaken them that you can pray and meditate about to have effect in the
lives of those you love:.2Corinthians
3:16. Once the chosen people of God today, the Jacob line, return to
God, God will
deal with the Esau line as He said He would.
From the
details on the Esau/Edom
and Jacob subject: Khazars,
aka Kazars, were a nomadic people who had no traces of Hebraic culture.
They had been following a pagan and sex oriented religion and had embraced
Judaism in 740 A.D. as a cover for their monstrous deeds, while rejecting
Christianity and Mohammedism. Anything to do with the true God of
all creation was hateful to them and being satanic they were and still
are out to stamp it out.
Acts
13:7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus.(Sergius
was proconsul
or deputy of
Cyprus),
a prudent man, who called for Barnabas and Saul and desired to hear the
word of God.
Acts
13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer, for so is his name.(the
one and same individual as in verse 6 above).by
interpretation, withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the
faith..(BarEmmanuel
the sorcerer was with the retinue
of Sergius Paulus who was seeking the truth of God from the apostles
{verse 2} who were on the island of Cyprus at this time)
Comprised
with.Adam
Clarke's Commentary:.The
word 'Elymas' is the interpretation of the word 'sorcerer', not of the
word 'BarEmmanuel' (verse 6) as some have imagined. Elymas simply means
here in this passage that this man BarEmmanuel was a sorcerer. How is 'Elymas'
the interpretation of the word 'magician' or 'sorcerer'? Both names are
Asiatic, but neither Hebrew nor Greek. The word 'mogh' in Persian
means an idolater, a worshipper of fire and sometimes what we term a 'magician'.
The word 'Elymas' is from the Arabic 'ilm' meaning 'knowledge', 'science',
'doctrine', 'art' and from the original word 'alama', meaning 'wise', 'skilled',
etc., hence the
Persian term 'aleem' or 'alymon', a 'doctor' or 'learned man' and, the
Greek word for 'Elymas' comes from the interpretation of the Persian word
'mogh'. In Greek it's 'magos', meaning a 'magician',
a 'wise man', 'doctor', etc.
Acts
13:9 Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled
with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
Acts
13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, you child
of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness,
will you not cease to pervert
the right ways of God?
John
8:44. And true of the
cabal today in the history of most countries.
Acts
13:11,12 And now, behold, the hand of God is upon you and you'll be
blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him
a mist and a darkness and he went about seeking some to lead him by the
hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished
at the doctrine of God.
Acts
13:13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to
Perga in Pamphylia. And John.(Acts
12:25).departing from them
returned to Jerusalem.
Acts
13:14,15 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in
Pisidia and went into the synagogue on the
sabbath day and sat down. And after the reading of the law and the
prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, You men and
brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
Acts
13:16 Then Paul stood up and beckoning.with
his hand said, Men of Israel and you that fear God, give audience.
Acts
13:17-20 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted
the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt and with an
high arm brought he them out of it. And about the time of forty years suffered
he their manners in the wilderness. And when he had destroyed seven nations
in the land of Chanaan.(Canaan),
he divided their land to them by lot. And after that he gave unto them
judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the
prophet.
Acts
13:21 And afterward they desired a king and God gave unto them Saul
the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
Acts
13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David
to be their king, to whom also he gave testimony and said, I have found
David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil
all my will.
Overall,
David was a man in alignment
with the high consciousness of God.
Acts
13:23 Of this man's.(verse
22 above).seed has God according
to his promise raised unto Israel.(who
is 'Israel' today?).a Saviour,
Emmanuel;
A
savior is one who saves.
Acts
13:24-28 When John had first preached before his coming, the baptism
of repentance to all the people of Israel. And as John fulfilled his course,
he said, Whom think you that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there comes
one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose. Men and
brethren, children of the stock of Abraham and whosoever among you fears
God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. For they that dwell at
Jerusalem and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices
of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them
in condemning him. And though they found no cause of death in him, yet
desired they of Pilate that he should be slain.
Acts
13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they
took him down from the tree and laid him in a sepulchre.
Acts
13:30 But God raised him from the dead.
Acts
13:31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from
Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
Acts
13:32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the
promise which was made unto the fathers,
Acts 13:33 God has fulfilled the same unto us
their children, in that he has raised up Emmanuel again, as it is also
written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you.
Acts
13:33 God has fulfilled the same unto us their children.(Galatians
3:29), in that he has raised up Emmanuel again.(original
for 'raised up' is 'caused to arise', that is, Christ arose by first being
in the Father {John 14:10; 1John
2:24} and arose once more and went to the Father:.John
16:28), as it is also written in the second psalm.(Psalms
2:7), You are my Son, this day have I begotten you.(Luke
1:35).
Acts
13:34,35 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now
no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you
the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he said also in another psalm, You
shall not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Acts
13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will
of God, fell on sleep.(?).and
was laid unto his fathers and saw corruption.
Acts
13:37 But he whom God raised again saw no corruption.
Christ
would never again be human. Once was enough:.1Peter
3:18.
Acts
13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through
this man is preached unto you the forgiveness
of sins.(*).
Acts
13:39 And by him all that believe.(To
believe
one has to have progressed somewhat in interest in spiritual concerns.
This is called awakening).are
justified
from all things, from which you could not be justified by the
law of Moses.
