11:1-3 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place,
when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray,
as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When you pray,
say, Our Father which are in heaven.(shows
first to acknowledge He to whom you are talking with), Hallowed
be your name.(next,
speak about your understanding of the Infinite One's difference from all
we have experienced from others; He is above
all in high character quality). Your
kingdom come. Your
will be done, as in heaven, so
11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.(one
can trust the Creator to work in day tight compartments to
provide when sometimes all
11:4 And forgive us our sins,
as we also forgive every one that is indebted.(original
for 'indebted' is 'done ought'
against') and why
would this be so?).to us. And
us not into temptation; but deliver
us from evil..(also
in Matthew 6:5-21)
11:5-8 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend and
shall go unto him at midnight and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me and I have nothing to
set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not.
The door is now shut and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise
and give you. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because
he is his friend, yet because of his importunity
he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
11:9 And I say unto you, Ask.(what
this word 'ask' really means:.Matthew
7:7-12).and it shall be
given you. Seek and you shall find.(so
seek first God.in
17:21; John 17:26).
Knock and it shall be opened unto you.
11:10 For every one that asks receives.(*).and
he that seeks finds and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will
he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a
11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to them that ask.(original
for 'ask' is 'desire' or 'want', that is, to want to have it).him.(word
'him' in orginal Greek is 'autos' and refers back to who was taking the
action to produce or provide what was asked for)?
11:14 And he was casting out a devil and it was dumb.(a
demon causing a person to not speak). And it came to pass,
when the devil was gone out, the dumb.(the
person who couldn't speak).spoke
and the people wondered.
11:15,16 But some of them said, He casts out devils through Beelzebub
the chief of the devils. And others, tempting him sought of him a sign
11:17,18 But he knowing their thoughts said unto them, Every kingdom
divided against itself is brought to desolation and a house divided against
a house falls. If Satan also be divided against himself how shall his kingdom
12:26; Mark 3:26).Because
you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.(another
name for Satan).
11:19 And if I by Beelzebub
cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they
be your judges.
11:20-22 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt
the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keeps his
palace his goods are in peace, But when a stronger than he shall come upon
him and overcome him, he takes from him all his armour wherein he trusted
and divides his spoils.
11:23 He that is not with me is against me. And he that gathers not
with me scatters.
11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walks through
dry places seeking rest and finding none he says I will return unto my
the unclean spirit said that it was still 'his house'; the man took no
steps to become different; every heart is the residence of unclean
except those which are temples of the Holy Ghost,

11:25-28 And when he comes he finds it swept and garnished. Then goes
he and takes to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself and they
enter in and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than
the first. And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman
of the company lifted up her voice and said unto him Blessed is the womb
that bare thee, and the paps which you hast sucked. But he said Yea rather,
blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it.
11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place,
neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may
see the light.
11:34 The light of the body is the eye. Therefore when thine eye is
single, thy whole body also is full of light but when thine eye is evil,
thy body also is full of darkness.
11:35 Take heed
therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
11:36 If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part
dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a
candle does give you light..(?)
11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do you Pharisees make clean the
outside of the cup.(they
were adept at
covering their rear end).and
the platter, but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.(Matthew
11:40 You fools, did not he that made that which is without make that
which is within also?.(*)
11:41 But rather give alms of such things as you have and behold, all
things are clean unto you.(being
in, thinking about and doing higher consciousness acts, lifts one away
from the ordinary consciousness of mankind).
11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for you tithe
mint and rue.(an
aromatic southwest Asian or Mediterranean plant).and
all manner of herbs and pass over judgment and the love of God, these ought
you to have done and not to leave the other undone.
11:43-46 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for you love the uppermost seats
in the synagogues and greetings in the markets. Woe unto you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are as graves which appear not and the men
that walk over them are not aware of them. Then answered one of the lawyers
and said unto him, Master, thus saying you reproach
us also. And he said, Woe unto you also, you lawyers! for you lade men
with burdens grievous to be borne and you yourselves touch not the burdens
with one of your fingers.
11:47 Woe unto you! for you build the sepulchres of the prophets and
your fathers killed them..(and
11:48-51 Truly you bear witness that you allow the deeds of your fathers,
for they indeed killed them and you build their sepulchres.(burial
vaults). Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send
prophets and apostles and some of them they shall slay and persecute, That
the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the
world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel unto
the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge.(the
key of knowledge was a
way to comprehend
scriptures so that one would be able to grow spiritually and this was something
scribes, Pharisees, lawyers, etc.
doctors of the law, knew nothing about in any way that could affect their
heart spiritually; by
the meaning of words in order to confuse and maintain dominance,
the key of knowledge was taken by them; both by their example and false
teachings of intellectual rubbish and trifles
they shut the door). You entered not in yourselves and them
that were entering in you hindered.(to
those who wanted understanding, correct information for them was circumvented,
caused others to go astray:.Matthew
23:13; Romans 10:14).
