-Did Emmanuel.really.want
us to sell all
we have and give to the poor as it seems to indicate
in these scriptures?.Matthew
19:21; Mark 10:21; Luke
12:33 and Luke 14:33.
If we taught that, everyone
from now on including our kids would grow up and have nothing for themselves
and nothing extra with which to help others. The answer lies in overstanding
of the position.(the
position we'll have in the Creator's overall plan for humanity).that
Emmanuel was in when He lived on Earth. Regarding
living by all the words of Emmanuel.
This verse like so many others
doesn't make the real meaning clear, probably because
of this.
But the word."sell".in
the scriptures mentioned above about this, means 'to be busy in bartering
and trading',
that is, to make good use of. The word."whatsoever".in
the original is 'as many as', 'how much as', etc., meaning together, to
make good use of as much as you can to help the poor:.Mark
10:21 "Then Emmanuel beholding him loved him and said unto him, One
thing you lack.(the
young man wanted to be good and the best he could be);
go your way, sell whatsoever you have.(original
for wrod 'have' is 'need', sell whatever you need to in helping the poor).and
give to the poor and you'll have treasure in heaven. Then come, take up
the cross and follow me.".That
is, stay in that frame of mind which is of the true God and see where you'll
be led. How
does one stay in a spiritual frame of mind?
The verse simply means to
get rid of some things, sell them and use the money to help the poor. The
young man here had a large amount of possessions and Emmanuel surmised
that, here he was, wanting to be spiritual and he hadn't even done the
first thing on the rung of the ladder, that of stopping selfish accumulation
of overabundance of things and helping others instead:.Matthew
19:22,23 "But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful,
for he had great possessions. Then said Emmanuel unto his disciples, Verily
I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom
of heaven."
A good steward
will plan for an income to help others:.Luke
12:42,43 "And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward,
whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them.(those
in the house).their
portion of meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when
he comes shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will
make
him ruler over all that he has." Luke
16:2 "And he called him and said unto him, How is it that I hear this
of you? Give an account of thy stewardship, for you may be no longer steward."
Titus
1:7 "For a bishop.(original
is 'overseer, 'one qualified to help others' {you qualify by getting
good at love}, a mature Christian).must
be blameless.(Romans
13:10), as the steward of God,
not self-willed.(original
is 'concerned with pleasing himself', selfish).....".Emmanuel
was giving instructions to His disciples back then, those who had chosen
to learn from Him in order to carry on with certain work after His death
and resurrection.
-Luke 23:34 Why
did Emmanuel say."for
they know not what they do" in Luke 23:34?
-John
8:6 What did Emmanuel write on the ground when the Pharisees brought
to him a woman taken in adultery?
One can only speculate
as to what Emmanuel was writing. However it was what Emmanuel said
to the
Pharisees
that caused them to take an about-turn:.John
8:4-9. And what did Emmanuel
say to this woman?
-John
8:34-36 Emmanuel said that if."He
makes us free, we are free indeed".and."if
I commit sin, I'm a servant of sin". I still
do things that are wrong. Does that mean that I haven't been made free
from sin?
Emmanuel was here saying
that we are the servant of that we do, which we may not like to do, knowing
it is unprofitable and/or unacceptable or maybe we like to do things even
if we sense it is no good for us in the long run. If you do not like to
do something, yet do it, you are under control of it. This is true of the
ego level which we mostly unknowingly follow being in
ignorance of results of a better way.
Emmanuel, through His sacrifice,
has
taken care of all sin for all time.
Growing
in Him is the answer to moving from that which may adversely
control one:.2Peter
3:17,18. Derek's example.
Also, in being made free,
we must
be careful of whatever spiritual
information comes our way, as much of it leads
one back into bondage.
Emmanuel made us free. It's
our job to decide which freedoms are most important to use of those available
for each of us at this time. Looking
at one's darker energies is a good place to start.
-Romans
1:18 explain.
A better translation would
be:.'For the
wrath
of God is revealed from heaven against all unGodly and unrighteous men,
who pervert,
thus corrupting the truth'.
-Romans
7:14 What did Paul mean when he said he was."carnal".and."sold
under sin"?
Paul was brought up legalistically;
'do good, be blessed, do bad and get yourself right again with God'.
He had a hard time with believing that he was righteous
by faith and faith alone, seeing
sin
still in his life.
He often
warned Christians about falling into this same kind of trap.
Paul had
a lifetime of indoctrination in legalistic religious ways. Paul had
to struggle.(Romans
7:22-24: 1Timothy 1:15).with
a feeling of guilt.(don't
we all). Paul said much about the
way to be free from doing wrong and that was to have the power of God
in one through belief in the righteousness of God, made possible by
Emmanuel
Christ.
-Colossians 2:12 What does
it mean here 'risen up with Him'?
It means, here
...
When we accept
Emmanuel, it means that we have been planted with Him into His death.(Romans
6:4,5); His death for all sin,
for
all time.
-Ephesians
2:7 How will God."show
the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ
Emmanuel in future ages", as it says in this
verse?
All
will eventually come to know Creator-God.
...
-1Timothy 1:14 What
does it mean here."with
faith and love which is in Christ Emmanuel"?
-John
7:38 How should we apply this today?
From.Barnes
New Testament Notes: no such expression is to be found literally
in the Old
Testament. Some have proposed to connect it with what precedes,."He
that believes on me...". ...The natural and
obvious
meaning here is, doubtless, the true one. Emmanuel probably intended to
say, not that there was any particular place in the Old Testament that
affirmed this in so many words, but that this was the substance of what
the Scriptures taught, or this was the spirit of their declarations. ...Probably
there is a reference more particularly to.Isaiah
58:11 "And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy your soul
in drought and make fat your bones. And you will be like a watered garden
and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."
Isaiah
44:3 "For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon
the dry ground. I will pour my spirit upon your seed and my blessing upon
your offspring." Isaiah 55:1 "Ho,
every one that thirsts, come you to the waters and he that has no money,
come you, buy and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without
price." John 4:14 "But whosoever drinks
of the water that I will give him shall never thirst, but the water that
I will give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting
life."
-Psalms
19:7 How does the law mentioned here, convert the soul?
Psalms 19:7 "The law of the
Lord.('Lord'
means the ever existent One).is
perfect, converting.(original
is 'returning', returning to source).the
soul.(original
'activity of mind'; that is, one's
soul is now one with Universal Intelligence or, the Soul and away from
the mass mind of negativity of humanity; once that a person overstands
the laws of the universe and how they can work in his favor, thanks to
what Emmanuel came here to do); the
testimony.(means
to 'point forward').of
the Lord is sure.(original
for 'sure' is 'belief'), making wise
the simple."
-What is the deeper meaning
of.John
7:24, the."righteous
judgment"?
The conscious 'surface' mind
believing in negative conditions and fear of destructive forces is the
cause of severance.of
the connection with the subconscious:.James
2:4. It's one of the tricks of the dark
side to keep you away from this connection by any and all means.
In the ego realm,
one is encapsulated
by it. As a fish could be separated from the ocean it is in by having a
bubble of air all around it, so is the ego realm, keeping us from contact
with our soul.
Righteous judging is being
aware of what is happening in your life and not passing it off as if
this is the way life is supposed to be. A defeatist attitude such as that
will keep one on the pathway of error not even allowing him to learn the
lessons of life clearly, such as, one reap's
what he has sown. Righteous judging involves intuition
and/or clairvoyance and
this comes only from being in and growing
up to.higher
consciousness. And from there one clearly sees what intents are in
others hearts. How?.Matthew
7:16-20.
-1John
4:4.What
does this mean."greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in the world"?
See the scripture link just
above for a partial explanation and add to that this:.What
is in you? And, what is in the world?
Emmanuel said to be aware
of the Father consciousness. So, what
is that?
-John
17:9.Why
didn't Emmanuel pray for the 'world', as it says here?
Click on the scripture at
the beginning of the question and note the different original word for
the word 'pray' than has been used also elsewhere in the Bible.
Though He loved the world
and lamented
over its condition.(*),
basically, it wasn't His purpose then to request God for or intervene
himself for the world.(not
then was it His responsibility:.Matthew
24:36), even though He had great
compassion over them:.Matthew
23:37; John 17:6,9.
Emmanuel loved the world:.John
3:16,17; 17:13. He prayed for
those whose minds were opened.so
they would gain in comprehension
of spiritual things:.John
17:20; Ezekiel 33:11.
He came to save us from results
of the havoc bad
ways have played in our lives, due to contaminated attitudes. How so?
By placing us all through
His sacrifice for
all sin for all time,
thus.cleansing
the mind for a new way to be in the heart.(the
way of love).as
compared to the ways of the Old Testament
which
did nothing to perfect a man or woman's heart.(Deuteronomy
5:29), in order to produce better
and lasting results:.Hebrews
10:20 "By a new and living way, which he has consecrated
for us, through the veil,
that is to say, his flesh." Hebrews
10:10 "...we are sanctified
through the offering of the body of Emmanuel Christ once for all."
But that way
was not open for all at that time:.Acts
17:30.
He did not pray.(in
this case the word 'pray' means 'request for').for
those
cut off from their soul, because He understood that once
they were reconnected with their soul they were then
equal with the Creator and need not have anyone else request for them
the things they may want and can receive from the Father, because of their
direct contact with Him that is within:.Matthew
6:6; John
16:23 "And in that day you shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I
say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father.(Christ
came
to reveal the much greater Creator-Father).in
my name.(what
does 'in my name' mean?), he will give
it you.".They
would then be fully capable of manifesting
them on their own.
But, our Creator never
overrides anyone:.Revelation
3:20. He lets them live how they wish because He knows the results
of their life will teach them.
Even then, if too far into
evil ways.(1Timothy
4:2), having gone from bad to evil,
yet knowing better, they may not change until their flesh
is gone. Each of us is the commander of our life, our heart:.Proverbs
4:23; *. The
heart is the 'tuning knob' to select which frequencies the brain listens
to; like a radio selecting particular stations.
In Matthew
10:14 Emmanuel didn't say to stay around and try to convince people.
He said to move on from them. Their time
will come. The Creator does not want
clones. A lot of religion
produces clones.
Groups are easier to influence and control. Getting them to believe toward
the same end is important in religion. However, in the truth of God, diversity.abounds.
Look at nature for an example
of that.
Emmanuel understood the
oneness underlying all things seen and unseen:.John
17:21-26; Romans
1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world
are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made..."
Emmanuel understood that
the world, that is, those in it who take pleasure in wickedness.(Romans
1:28-32; 2Thessalonians
2:10-14), the perverse
and the stubborn close-minded
rebellious natures of humanity living from the low consciousness ego
realm hated Him and why:.John
7:7. At this time Emmanuel was still involved with training His disciples.
He
was concerned over what was to happen
in 70 A.D. to the city of Jerusalem. The world refers to those still
blinded to the truth of life; those referred to as the
'unsane'. There is no use praying for one who is blinded spiritually,
that is, until his mind is opened, because the path has been closed by
one's
ego. Your prayer won't come through his
soul to affect him. This is because only he or she has the key to his
own life experience. Through meditation we can affect the mass mind of
humanity bringing more light into this invisible field which will cause
more minds to become aware of their true reality.
At the time Emmanuel said
this He was concerned over the training of His disciples in getting the
revealing of what He received from the Father, out to the world.(John
17:20), as He knew He would soon
be leaving this world to go back to the Father.
When on the stake He prayed
for those having put Him there:.Luke
23:34.
He didn't want 'the world'
the disciples were just coming out of to have influence in drawing them
back:.John
17:6; 1John 2:16; Hebrews
10:38,39.
The path that would allow
spirit
flow into the disciples, renewing them, restoring them, reestablishing
them, taking them to happiness, was unknown to them before they became
His disciples. Instead, one had learned to rely upon the ways
of the world which are the ways of the ego. The way to open the path
for all humanity lies in understanding the effects of meditation
upon the mass consciousness.
-Matthew
6:23 and Luke 11:36.What
does this mean."...if
the light in you is darkness..."? How can
light be darkness? and what's it mean to have an 'evil eye'?
Individuals have living souls,
more correctly, are souls.(Ezekiel
18:4), spiritual bodies in the
shell of a physical one.
Some people have submerged
their soul. How? They are not
in touch with it, having submerged it, then, how greatly or, how deep
is it submerged in the darkness? And more importantly, how to get the light
in? 2Corinthians 3:16.
Higher consciousness prompts
are generated many times daily, but
like the Sun behind thick grayish
clouds, significance
is diminished.
The souls
of these people were so out of touch with life and love, they
needed outside help. Someone had to be loving and kind so higher consciousness
things could spark in their heart:.Luke
6:35.
On an
'evil eye'.
