Psalms 50:1,2 <A Psalm of Asaph.> The mighty God, even the Lord, has spoken and called the Earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.

Psalms 50:3 Our God shall come and shall not keep silence. A fire shall devour before him and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psalms 50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above and to the Earth, that he may judge his people.

Psalms 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
Sacrificed.the low consciousness ego level we all developed as we grew up for the higher consciousness things of God, the things of the Eternal spirit:.Hebrews 9:14.
Psalms 50:10-12 For every beast of the forest is mine and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine.(Exodus 19:5).and the fulness thereof.
Acts 17:25.
Psalms 50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Psalms 50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving and pay your vows unto the most High.
What vows were these if not his internal feelings of gratitude and love?
Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you and you shall glorify me.

Psalms 50:16,17 But unto the wicked.(who are the wicked?).God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes or that you should take my covenant in your mouth.(many profess morality and high standards {politicians anybody?}, but it's not a thing of the heart for them and only for show)? seeing you hate instruction and cast my words behind you.

Psalms 50:18 When you sawe a thief, then you consented.(original 'was favorable to you'; that is, his consciousness was all for acceptance of the thief).with him and have been partaker with adulterers.
He went along with the evil man's ways because in his heart, he was the same.
Psalms 50:19,20 You give your mouth to evil and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother.(who is your 'brother'?); you slander your own mother's son.

Psalms 50:22 Now consider this, you that forget God.(Jeremiah 44:16,17), lest I tear you in pieces and there be none to deliver.
We all need the true God's protection to make it safely through life:.Psalms 27, Psalms 46, Psalms 91.
Psalms 50:23 Whoso offers praise glorifies me and to him that orders his conversation.(old English work for 'conduct'; phrase 'him that orders his conversation' in original is 'he who plans his way', that is, thinks ahead to be sure all his actions will those of love).aright will I show the salvation of God.
One needs to do the best they know of and are able to do, if they wish to move into greater spirituality:.Ephesians 6:13 "...and having done all, to stand.".and what would some of those things of a higher consciousness to do consist of?
Psalms 51:1,2 <To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba> Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

Psalms 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions. And my sin is ever before me.
The could see that his human nature was always with him providing the something to struggle against to gain the higher thinking necessary to incorporate into our lives for a reward.
Psalms 51:4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done this evil in your sight, that you might be justified when you speak and be clear when you judge.
Was it God targeting a sinner? No! The laws of the creation were set up before humans were here, but setup for humans, that is, the wrongs one does automatically distance one from the good God of all.

God is out to be sure, just like any good father would be, that his childen grow up to adulthood, being safe, protected, healthy, happy and with concepts of good they have learned which will guide them when the time comes for them to be able to properly govern their own lives.

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me.
The chapter is speaking of David's lament. That is, he saw.(when?).how bad he had become.(*), felt so sad and sorry that he had become that way, but knew he loved God and was sure God loved him and wondered what principles of God that he missed which he now should assimilate to keep him from again being as he was. Was this it? We all have human nature.individualized by our particular.nervous systems making what we call our own ego. Our thoughts become the things of our life.(*). Always let your thinking be to do only good, but do know what the evils are to stay away from.
Psalms 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Psalms 51:7 Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean. Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalms 51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.
Lamentations 3:32,33; Psalms 30:5.
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.
David certainly needed one after all he did.
Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence and take not your holy.(*).spirit.(*).from me..(?)

Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of your salvation and uphold.(original 'sustain', 'refresh', 'revive').me with your free spirit.
The spirit is free to all who want it. Ask God for it. Some people are of a different genetic makeup than those the true God of all light, love, compassion and creation originally made:.Jeremiah 44:16,17.
Psalms 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors your ways.(what the true God is really like; share if you care).and sinners shall be converted unto you.
Once one knows what the true God is all about, humanity will move into God. That's why Satan does all possible to dissuade such people from moving in that direction. One has to be awake to what's going on and use commonsense and intelligence to break free of the shackles societies constructed on satanic lies have been placing on them. What are some of these evil things placed upon humanity?
Psalms 51:16 For you desire not sacrifice, else would I give it. You delight not in burnt offerings.

Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices acceptable with God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart O God, you will not despise.
Barnes Notes: David felt deeply the repentance which he here specifies was needed in his case (repentance is being deeply sorry over some wrong one has done and with one's sorrowfulness, he or she makes a firm decision never to be like that again, but what if he again becomes that way and learn the lesson of the prodigal son:.Luke 15:11-32). David had horribly sinned and felt that nothing could remove it unless the heart were itself penitent and contrite:.Psalms 44:19; 51:8. The same thing is true now. Nothing else will avail unless we are truly penitent, unless we come before God with a contrite and humble heart.
'You will not despise', that is God will not regard with contempt or disregard, instead looking upon them with increased favor:.Isaiah 57:15; 66:2. This is one of the fruits of repentance. What's repentance mean?
Psalms 51:18 Do good in your good pleasure unto Zion. Build you the walls of Jerusalem.

Psalms 52:1 To the chief Musician, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul saying unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech. Why boast yourself in mischief.(Proverbs 10:23; 26:19), O mighty man? the goodness of God endures continually.
Barnes Notes: It is the conduct of Doeg in this matter that is the subject of this psalm. Doeg is called the Edomite. Doeg was a snitch. At this time, Doeg the Edomite, in order to secure the favor of king Saul and to show that there was one at least who was friendly to him and was willing to deliver up to punishment those who had encouraged David in his rebellion, informed Saul of the fact that David had been seen with Ahimelech (a priest at the time the ark was at Nob (Nob was a city of priests {1Samuel 22:19} in the area where the ancient tribe of Benjamin resided, in which Ahimelech the priest dwelt with the tabernacle. It was visited by David when he fled from Saul and he and his followers ate the hallowed bread. Through the treachery of Doeg, this led to the death of Ahimelech, his father and all the inhabitants of the city of Nob. He received David when fleeing from Saul. The evil Doeg was out to elevate himself and get David into trouble. The result was, that Ahimelech and the priests who were with him were summoned before Saul. They were accused by him of what autocratic king Saul determined to be a crime. Saul commanded those who were around him to murder Ahimelech and the priests, putting them to death and when they all hesitated, Doeg decided to get it done and executed the barbarous order. Eighty-five priests thus perished by the sword and the city of Nob was destroyed:.1Samuel 22:9-16.

Saul started out good in life, but later relied upon liars, not God.

Psalms 52:2 Your tongue devises mischiefs.(hurtful things).like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.(has a heart devoid of sincerity).

Psalms 52:3-5 You love evil more than good and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. You love all devouring words, O you deceitful tongue. God shall likewise destroy you for ever, he shall take you away and pluck you out of your dwelling place and root you out of the land of the living.(God did just that on a grand scale by sending whole nations into captivity). Selah.

Psalms 52:7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

Psalms 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

Psalms 52:9 I will praise you for ever, because you have done it and I will wait.(that is, he will rest in hope and expectation of relief).on your name, for it is good before your saints.

Psalms 53:1 To the chief Musician upon Mahalath.('grieving'), Maschil.('maschil' is a song or poem of contemplation of a lesson to gain wisdom), A Psalm of David: The fool has said in his heart, There is no God.(*). Corrupt.(original is 'injured', 'spoiled', 'ruined').are they and have done abominable iniquity.(original for 'abominable iniquity' is 'unjust, unfair, to the point of being abhorrent':.Amos 2:6-8). It's so bad, that there are practically none that do good.(Isaiah 1:6).
High consciousness is the goal, but few, sadly, aim for it, because they are steeped in the ego level of living:.Matthew 7:14.
Psalms 53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that could comprehend enough to seek God.
And most back then didn't:.Jeremiah 6:15-19.

A man or woman seeks God when they begin to incorporate.high consciousness principles into their life, are sorry for any harm in life caused to others and to self and lay them all down at the feet of Christ.

Psalms 53:3 Every one of them is gone back. They are altogether become filthy.(we all learned to live by our egos); there is none that does good, no, not one.
When good is done from the ego level, there always is a selfish motive behind the deed. When good is done from the higher consciousness level it's truly altruistic.
Psalms 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge who eat up my people as they eat bread? They have not called upon God..
One way besides prayer to call upon the Infinite One is this.
Psalms 53:5 There were they in great fear where no fear was, for God has scattered the bones of him that encamped against you. You have put them to shame because God has despised them.
