Jeremiah 1:1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin.

Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of God came unto me, saying,

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you and I gave you to be a prophet unto the nations.

Same was true so much later, of Paul:.Galatians 1:15,16. Both involved in awakening others to their true status:.2Timothy 1:9.

Jeremiah 1:6 Then said I, Ah, God! behold, I cannot speak.(*), for I am a child.

Similar to how Moses reacted:.Exodus 4:10-16.

Jeremiah 1:7 But God said unto me, Say not, I am a child. For you shall go to all that I shall send you and whatsoever I command you.(how does the Creator do this?), you shall speak.

Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces. For I am with you to deliver you, says God.

Jeremiah 1:9 Then God put forth his hand and touched my mouth.(what came to Jeremiah's mind about how the Creator may help him in this regard). And God said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.(how?).

Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down and to destroy and to throw down.(*), to build and to plant.

Jeremiah 1:13,14 And the word of God came unto me the second time, saying, What see you? And I said, I see a seething pot and the face thereof is toward the north.(Zechariah 2:6). Then God said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Jeremiah 1:16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me and have burned incense unto other Gods and worshipped the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 1:17 You therefore gird up your loins.(get ready to go and see them).and arise and speak unto them all that I command you.(which would be all that is in your heart to say to them). Be not dismayed at their faces.

In other words, 'don't let the circumstance of being in front of them cause you to shrink away, as some people do when they have to get in front of a group to speak to them (*).

Jeremiah 1:18 For, behold, I have made you this day a defenced city and an iron pillar and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof and against the people of the land.

Jeremiah is here telling what help he received from God to do what God wanted him to do. To paraphrase what came from God: 'I have given you the ability to stand before others and to successfully deliver the message I want them to hear.'

Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you said God, to deliver you.

Jeremiah 2:1,2 Moreover the word of God came to me, saying, Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says God, I remember you and the kindness of your youth, the love of your espousals.(speaking of all those who followed God out of Egypt, as we do today. Egypt was a synonym for being in sin or being in captivity because of it), when you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.(today likened to hearing the message of God {the gospel} in a world full of evil and looking to the promised land of today, the kingdom of God).

Comprised with.Barnes Notes: The ancient nation of Israel, as often elsewhere, is represented as a young bride:.Ezekiel 16:8; Hosea 2:19-22. The walking after God in the wilderness (Nehemiah 9:19-25) was an act of love on Israel's part. Israel did leave Egypt at Moses' bidding and at Sinai (Exodus 34:29-32) was solemnly espoused to God:.Ezekiel 16:8.

Jeremiah 2:3 Israel.(who is Israel today?).was holiness unto God and the firstfruits of his increase. All that devour him shall offend. Evil shall come upon them, says God.

Jeremiah 2:5 Thus says God, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me and have walked after vanity and are become vain?

Jeremiah 2:6 Neither said they, Where is God that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through and where no man dwelt?

They really didn't care much about the history of their fathers to learn from it and so they headed into the same type of problems and that caused them to repeat history.

Jeremiah 2:7 And I brought you into a plentiful country.(the promised land, the land of Canaan:.Numbers 13:25-28), to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof but when you entered you defiled my land and made mine heritage an abomination.

Jeremiah 2:8 The priests said not, Where is God? and they that handle the law knew me not. The pastors also transgressed against me and the prophets prophesied by Baal and walked after things that do not profit.(that is, are not profitable spiritually).

Isaiah 57:13.

Jeremiah 2:11 Has a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.(*).

Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils. They have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

They got into stupid idolatries and made with their hands many idols to represent Gods of other nations they knew of, which did them no good, although the people believed they would:.Jeremiah 44:16,17.

Jeremiah 2:19 Your own wickedness shall correct you.(*).and your backslidings shall reprove you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter that you have forsaken the Lord your God and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord God of hosts.

Jeremiah 2:23 How can you say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see your way in the valley, know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways.

Jeremiah 2:26 As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes and their priests and their prophets.

Jeremiah 6:13.

Jeremiah 2:27 Saying to a stock, You are my father.(that is, 'I believe I exist because of the god this upright wooden idol I made represents'; they had all sorts of idols they made that they felt were important in affecting their lives).and to a stone, You have brought me forth, for they have turned their back unto me and not their face.(didn't care about the true God), but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

These stupid unthinking ones turned their back to the real God but when in trouble, time and time again they cried out to God for help and God always did help them. But they didn't have the heart to be different consistently:.Leviticus 26:3-7.

Jeremiah 2:28 But where are your gods that you have made yourself? Let them arise,if they can save you in the time of your trouble, for according to the number of your cities are your Gods.(Hosea 4:7), O Judah.

Jeremiah 2:29 Wherefore will you plead with me? You all have transgressed against me, says God.

Jeremiah 2:30 It does no good to correct your children as they won't take correction and your own sword has devoured your prophets like a destroying lion.

The verse is saying 'you don't listen to anyone alerting you to change'.

Jeremiah 2:31 O generation, see you the word of God. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? Am I a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are the lords.(today those of the cabal say, 'We are the New World Order', we at the WHO (World Health {homicide'} Organization and the WEF (World Economic Forum {the 'We Few'}, know what's best for the rest of you stupid dolts and that's death. The statement would only be correct if they meant their own deaths; yep, they are all going to tribunals for hanging or life in prison). We will come no more unto you?

Jeremiah 44:16,17.

Jeremiah 2:32 Can a maid forget her ornaments or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Jeremiah 2:33 Why trim you your way to seek love?.(you shape yourself up to appear good in order to be attractive to a mate, but you're the same old individual at heart, seldom realizing that it takes a few months for each of you to find out what the one you are looking at for a mate is really like).In doing this therefore have you also taught the wicked ones.(these are the low consciousness ones, those having proclivities toward doing bad).your ways.(*).

Jeremiah 3:6,7 God said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree and there has played the harlot. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn you unto me. But she returned not.(this is why.we.have the problems we do in life). And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

Jeremiah 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery..(How? Ancient Israel agreed to follow God's ways, but sadly instead was sucked into being like other nations).I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Important to be smart enough to learn from the errors of others and from history, but these ancient people didn't. Do people today?

Jeremiah 3:9-11 And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, says God. And God said unto me, The backsliding Israel has justified herself more than treacherous Judah. 

Jeremiah 3:9-11 And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom.(wasn't a big thing to the people and they didn't care anyway {Jeremiah 44:16,17} that what they were doing was cutting themselves off from blessings God wanted them to have; such is the ordinary low consciousness of humanity), that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.(they built altars out of stones and sticks so they could have something that represented all types of Gods they gave attention to and they wanted this because the heart of humanity at its basest, doesn't want God around:.Jeremiah 44:16,17). And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, says Gos. And God said unto me, The backsliding Israel has justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

Jeremiah 3:12,13 Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, says the Lord and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you, for I am merciful, says the Lord and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge your iniquity.(be smart enough to see where you've gone the wrong way, because that's the first step in turning your life around), that you have transgressed against God and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree and you have not obeyed my voice, says God.

Jeremiah 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, says God, for I am married unto you and I will take you one of a city and two of a family and I will bring you to Zion.

Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge.and understanding.(original for word 'understanding' is 'wisdom', 'insight').

1Timothy 2:4; Colossians 1:9,10; Proverbs 4:7.

Jeremiah 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when you be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says God, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord. Neither shall it come to mind. Neither shall they remember it, neither shall they visit it, neither shall that be done any more.

Jeremiah 3:17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of God, to Jerusalem, neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

We are here on Earth to move from the ordinary consciousness of man that has caused all problems and to the higher consciousness befitting our saving before the world began:.2Timothy 1:9.

Jeremiah 3:18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel and they shall come together out of the land of the north.(Zechariah 2:6).to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Jeremiah 3:20 Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously.(to act or deal treacherously is to act, deceitfully, offensively, faithlessly).with me, o house of Israel, says God.

Jeremiah 3:21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel.(who is Israel today?). For they have perverted their way and they have forgotten their God.

Jeremiah 3:22 Return.(come back to God; why does it say 'return' if one wasn't there before? Because we all were:.2Timothy 1:9), you backsliding children and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto you, for you are our God. 

Jeremiah 3:23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and from the multitude of mountains. Truly in our God is the salvation of Israel. 

Jeremiah 3:24,25 For shame has devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. We lie down in our shame and our confusion covers us, for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day and have not obeyed the voice of our God.

Jeremiah 4:1-3 If you will return, O Israel, says God, return unto me and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight, then shall you not be removed.(you won't again be removed from your land and be put into captivity as has happened to you). And you shall swear, The Lord lives, in truth, in judgment and in righteousness and the nations shall bless themselves in him and in him shall they glory. For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground and sow not among thorns.

God is saying it will go well with them when they return to God.

Jeremiah 4:4.Circumcise yourselves to God by taking away the foreskins of your heart.(*), you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest my fury come forth like fire and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Jeremiah 4:7 The lion is come up.(Clarke's Commentary:."refers to Nebuchadnezzar-II, king of Babylon).from his thicket.(means, from what city he was in).and the destroyer of the Gentiles.(original for 'Gentiles' is 'nations' {Jeremiah 25:9}, meaning the nations who left off God).is on his way.(Nebuchadnezzar-II awakened those back then God loved, but had gone astray. They were destroying themselves, so God sent Nebuchadnezzar so they would have a type of God over them and this would be better than them governing themselves, which they didn't have the heart to do. This was the whole history of the Old Testament). He is gone forth from his place to make your land desolate and your cities laid waste without an inhabitant.

Nebuchadnezzar-II destroyed their cities and took them all away. It was God behind it for the reason of waking people up to the wrong way they had been going (Jeremiah 25:9: Proverbs 14:12), but they were so stubborn (Jeremiah 5:3,23;) in not wanting God around:.Jeremiah 44:16,17. Even though they were that way, God wasn't. God loved them and at least took them out of the environment which continually fed their low consciousness, producing evil. So God took them into captivitity in Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar who knuckled down on them, giving them some 'father love' and forced guidance, where overall, it was better for them and their families.

Jeremiah 4:9 And it shall come to pass at that day, says God, that the heart of the king shall perish and the heart of the princes and the priests shall be astonished and the prophets shall wonder. 

Jeremiah 4:10 Then said I, Ah, God! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace, whereas the sword reaches unto the soul.

A better rendering from the original:."Then said I, Ah, God! Surely.deceived are these dimmed.(their comprehension is darkened, numbed and dumbed, as they felt they were doing ok:.Proverbs 14:12).people of Jerusalem, saying to each other, peace (believing in peace), when the sword touches the soul."

Once one makes the mistake of accepting fear, he may acquiesce to his fears, thinking life then would continue unabatedly; example.

Jeremiah 4:11,12 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people; not to fan (see note below), nor to cleanse, even a full wind from those places shall come unto me. Now also will I give sentence against them.

Barnes Notes:."Syrian farmers make great use of the wind for separating the chaff from the grain, but when the Samum.(also spelt 'simoom').blows, labor becomes impossible.".This wind is an extremely hot and dry local wind in Arabia and the Sahara. Its temperature often reaches 55 °C (about 130 °F) and the humidity of the air sometimes falls below 10 percent. It is caused by intensive ground heating under a cloudless sky. Simoom is an Arabic word that means 'poison wind'. Jeremiah 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart.(doesn't God wash our hearts?).from wickedness that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?

Since we are already saved (2Timothy 1:9) what is this verse saying? It's saying to not slide away from what you already have. Stay saved in other words, because you always have choice to stay or go. The verse is also saying to not waste your time on thoughts that are without benefit to you, so learn to know which ones are good and which ones take you from good.

How to wash your heart.

Thinking is your problem. Choose better thoughts. Can't sleep?

Jeremiah 4:16 Make your mention to the nations, behold, publish against Jerusalem that watchers come from a far country.(how far?).and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

Jeremiah 4:18 Your way and your doings.(we create your own worlds).have procured.(original for 'procured' is 'fashioned').these things unto you.(?). This is your wickedness because it is bitter and because it reaches unto your heart.

Jeremiah 4:22 For my people are foolish.(original for 'foolish' is 'perverse':.Ezekiel 33:31,32).and that because they have not known me. They are sottish children lacking ability to comprehend.(living as a fool, not knowing why they are here in the first place, they are zombified). They are wise to do evil.(*).but to do good.(*).they have no knowledge.

They are not insane, just unsane:.2Peter 2:12; Jude 1:10.

Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the Earth and lo, it was without form and void and the heavens had no light.

Genesis 1:1.

Jeremiah 4:24-31 I beheld the mountains and lo, they trembled and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld and lo, there was no man and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of God and by his fierce anger. For thus has God said, The whole land shall be desolate, yet will I not make a full end. For this shall the Earth mourn and the heavens above be black. Because I have spoken it, I have purposed it and will not repent.(change my mind), neither will I turn back from it. The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen. They shall go into thickets and climb up upon the rocks. Every city shall be forsaken and not a man dwell therein. And when you are spoiled, what will you do? Your lovers will despise you, they will seek your life. For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail and the anguish as of her that brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

A bad society where one is afraid of even going out.

Jeremiah 5:1,2 Run you to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem and see now and know and seek in the broad places thereof, if you can find a man, if there be any that executes judgment.(has commonsense and fairness), that seeks the truth and I will pardon it.

But it was not to be found, because:.Isaiah 1:6.

Jeremiah 5:2 And though they say, God lives, surely they swear falsely.

They admit God is real, so how was this falsely? And, why were and are they like this, even today?.Ezekiel 33:31,32; Titus 1:16. 

Jeremiah 5:3 O God, are not your eyes upon the truth? You have stricken them, but they have not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

The closed-minded ones hold fast to the fence of erroneous.concepts that they surround their lives with.

Jeremiah 5:4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor and foolish.(*). For they know not the way of.(Mark 1:2,3).the Lord, nor the judgment of their God.

They know not how the mind of God works nor care to find out.

Jeremiah 5:5 I will get me unto the great men and will speak unto them, for they have known the way of God and the judgment of their God. But these other ones have altogether broken the yoke and burst the bonds.

Jeremiah 5:6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities. Every one that goes out thence shall be torn in pieces because their transgressions are many and their backslidings are increased.

What made them increase?

Jeremiah 5:7,8 How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by them that are no Gods. When I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses. They were as fed horses in the morning. Every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

Jeremiah 5:7,8 How shall I pardon you for this?.(Psalms 135:5).Your children have forsaken me and sworn by them that are no Gods.(they love their video games which have no real impact apart from a false sense of reality, the ego subsitute for the power in meditation:.Jeremiah 16:19). When I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.(the more they get, the more they get locked into their low consciousness ego:.Isaiah 1:6,7). They were as fed horses in the morning. Every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.(original for 'wife').

Jeremiah 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? says God and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Jeremiah 5:10 Go you up upon her walls and destroy, but make not a full end. Take away her battlements for they are not the Lord's.

Jeremiah 5:11 For the house of Israel.(who's that today?).and the house of Judah.(who's that today?).have dealt very treacherously against me, says God.

Jeremiah 5:12 They have belied God, saying, It is not he.(they say and act as though God does not exist, as many also do today; but God does exist and you can prove it), neither shall evil come upon us and neither shall we see sword nor famine.

We're ok, who's watching, no one can see what we've done and are doing.

Jeremiah 5:13,14 And the prophets shall become wind and the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done unto them. Wherefore thus says the God of hosts, Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire and this people wood and it shall devour them.

They'll lead you to your own destruction.

Jeremiah 5:15-20.Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far.(*), O house of Israel, says God. It is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you know not, neither understand their language. Their quiver is as an open sepulchre. They are all mighty men. And they shall eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They shall eat up your flocks and your herds. They shall eat up your vines and your fig trees. They shall impoverish your fenced cities, wherein you trusted, with the sword. Nevertheless in those days, says God, I will not make a full end with you. And it shall come to pass, when you shall say, Wherefore does our God all these things unto us? Then shall you answer them, like as you have forsaken me and served strange gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not yours. Declare this in the house of Jacob and publish it in Judah, saying,

Jeremiah 5:21 Hear now this, O foolish people and without understanding.(that is, without comprehension.of the truth of reality, they are like a boat going down the river with no rudder to steer it), which have eyes and see not, which have ears and hear not.

Jeremiah 5:22.Fear you not me? says God. Will you not tremble at my presence, which has placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual.decree, that it cannot pass it. And though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail. Though they roar, yet they can not pass over it.

Psalms 135:6; Proverbs 8;29; also, it's God who sets the boundaries of nations and has programmed the hologram that controls functions in the multiverse, including Earth and its so-called.tides, allegedly affected by the moon's gravitational pull.

Jeremiah 5:23 But this people has a revolting.(stubborn).and a rebellious.(contentious; unkind).heart. They are revolted.(turned aside).and gone.

They walked away from any goodness:.Jeremiah 44:16,17.

Jeremiah 5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the God, that gives rain, both the former and the latter in his.(its).season and reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

They didn't want their Creator active in life affecting them.

Jeremiah 5:25 Your iniquities have turned away these things and your sins.(what's the difference between word 'iniquities' and word 'sin'?).have withholden good things from you.

Injustice throughout the land:.Isaiah 59:13,14.

Jeremiah 5:26 For among my people are found wicked men. They lay wait, as he that set snares. They set a trap. They catch men.

Clark's Commentary:."There is no doubt that the reference here is to a decoy or trap cage, as Dr. Blayney has rendered it. In these the fowlers put several tame birds, which when the wild ones see, they come and light on the cage and fall into the snare."

Jeremiah 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit used in magnifying themselves to become rich.

Jeremiah 5:28 They are waxen fat, they shine. Yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked.(that is, they are worse than wicked because they care not if what they do hurts you continually). They judge not the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper and the right of the needy do they not judge.

Jeremiah 5:29 Shall I not visit for these things? says God.(God will straighten things out if we don't). Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?.(when?)

Jeremiah 5:30,31 A wonderful.(original can also be 'astonishing').and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets.prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so.(Jeremiah 44:15-17).and what will you do in the end thereof?

Jeremiah 6:1 O you children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem and blow the trumpet in Tekoa and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem, for evil appears out of the north.(Zechariah 2:6).and great destruction.

The blowing of the trumpet was a signal to flee for safety.

Jeremiah 6:6 For thus has the God of hosts said, Hew down trees and cast a mount against Jerusalem, for this is the city to be visited. She is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

The people were under oppression, as those in charge of the city and area were feeding themselves and their lifestyles through policies which subjugated others, effectively making them slaves.

Jeremiah 6:8 Be you instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from you, lest I make you desolate, a land not inhabited.

Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak and give warning that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised and they cannot hearken. Behold, the word of God is unto them a reproach. They have no delight in it.

God wants us to wake up to Him, give our lives to the good side (God the Father, His Son Christ and the Holy Spirit), so we'll have a life rich in all ways:.1Timothy 6:17. But that means nothing to unbelievers. They can't even begin to believe because they have been duped by those of the dark side. They can begin to believe if they somehow can turn their hearts to the real true, compassionate, ever living God of creation and accept the good God has for them in Christ.

Jeremiah 6:12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, says the Lord.

Jeremiah 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness.(Isaiah 1:4-7; 5:20,21,23).and from the prophet even unto the priest every one deals falsely.(see 'Falsies').

Jeremiah 6:14 They falsely heal the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.

They say, 'All is ok, we are looking after things for you' such as they say, 'vaccines are safe, trust us'. So you trusted them without doing research and deep questioning. Many of these deceivers use tools of the dark side to take advantage of you using various means, even to do away with you. Demand answers to those things which may affect you and your family. There's always more of us than them. Don't let them dupe you with fear tactics. They tell untruths to pacify people's concerns:.Isaiah 30:10; Deuteronomy 29:19.

Jeremiah 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? Nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush. Therefore they shall fall among them that fall. At the time that I visit them.(Deuteronomy 7:9,10).they shall be cast down, says God. 

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus says God, Stand you in the ways.(that is, consider what thoughts you have decided to live by).and see and ask.(ask yourself which are the better ways to follow).for the old paths wherein is the good way and walk therein and you shall find rest for your souls.(don't live in a manner that produces unrest:.Matthew 11:28). But they said, We will not walk therein.(Jeremiah 44:16,17). 

Jeremiah 6:17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said We will not hearken.(*).

Barnes Notes: The blowing of the trumpet was the signal for flight:.Jeremiah 6:1; Amos 3:6. Similarly the prophet Jeremiah's.(about Jeremiah).warning was meant to move people away to escape from God's judgments on an area. But alas, they didn't listen and act.

Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O Earth. Behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

They even set up idols made with their own hands in the worship of Satan and this has carried on till today; look up Bohemian Grove on the Internet and see the list of satanic days. Note too, that the evil that came on them was from the fruit of their own thoughts, why?).unto my words.(not at all interested in the things of the spiritual as they were too swept up in their own lives to even listen.(*):.Numbers 14:43-45), nor to my law.(what law?), but rejected it.

How did they reject it?.Jeremiah 44:16,17. We reject or accept things by what our attention is on:.Leviticus 26th chapter.

Just as according to one's faith it will be unto him, so it is that according to one's evil, evil comes to him.(*). humanity is rewarded either way and it's up to us what we choose.

Jeremiah 6:20 To what purpose comes there to me incense from Sheba and the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

They had their own form of Godliness.(*), but it was far from the true God's form of it:.2Timothy 3:5.

Matthew Henry's Commentary: God rejects their outward services, as worthless to atone for their sins. Sacrifice and incense were to direct them to a Mediator, but when offered to purchase a licence to go on in sin, they provoke God. The sins of God's professing people make them an easy prey for their enemies. They are compared to ore supposed to have good metal in it, but which proves to be all dross. Nothing will prevail to part them from their sins. They shall be called reprobate silver, useless and worthless. When warnings, corrections, rebukes and all means of grace, leave men and women unrenewed, they will be left, as if rejected by God, to everlasting misery. Let us pray, then, that we may be refined by the Lord, as silver is refined:.Zechariah 13:9.

Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus says God, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them. The neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Jeremiah 6:26 O daughter of my people, gird yourself with sackcloth and wallow yourself in ashes.(learn humility). Make your mourning as for an only son, a most bitter lamentation, for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.

Jeremiah 6:28 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanderers. They are brass and iron. They are all corrupters.(the majority).

Jeremiah 7:3-7 Thus says the God of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord.('we go to church', 'we go to church'; they were putting their trust not in the true God but in their religion). For if you throughly amend your ways and your doings and if you throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you oppress not the stranger, the fatherless and the widow and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt.(which they did en masse {*}), then will I cause you to dwell in this place in the land that I gave to your fathers, forever and ever.

Will you steal, murder and commit adultery and swear falsely and burn incense unto Baal and walk after other gods whom you know not, And then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Like some people believe that if one is under grace, it's ok to do bad things. Silly are they, not knowing grace.works by actions of love and love causes one to avoid all that's hurtful to self and to others:.Romans 13:10.

Jeremiah 7:11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, says God.

Many, not all, churches are simply corporations, existing to extract all they possibly can from you? That's why a corporation is formed, to profit the corporation and the preferred shareholders of it, often at disregard.(*).for the rank and file people who may be affected by it, such as "You must give your tithes to God", meaning we, those in the church.

Jeremiah 7:12 But go you now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Jeremiah 7:13 And now, because you have done all these works, says God and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but you heard not when I called you and answered not.(*).

Jeremiah 7:14,15 Therefore will I do unto this house.(what house?.Haggai 2:18), which is called by my name, wherein you trust and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.(Ephraim's descendants).

Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me, for I will not hear you.

Jeremiah 7:17,18 See you not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood and the fathers kindle the fire and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven.(a Persian and Assyrian deity {*}).and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, provoking me to anger.

They just lived as the societal.environment.dictated and thus were taken away from the spiritual things of the soul, same as is happening today with the simple minded ones who follow so-called authorities, People go wrong when they follow leaders, maybe not realizing most leaders are satanically influenced and in their hearts are against the humanity ones, the We the People ones. That's why We the People  need to be alert to what's going on that leaders are really doing. Be alert enough to see what they are doing (Matthew 7:16,20) and making absolutely sure that all actions are in line with what We the People have laid down in the constitution designed by and for us, such as the original 1776 American Constitution was.

Jeremiah 7:19 Do they provoke me to anger, says God.(original is 'I get angry, says God)? Do they not provoke.(original is 'shame').themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

Jeremiah 7:20,21 Therefore thus says God; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man and upon beast and upon the trees of the field and upon the fruit of the ground and it shall burn and shall not be quenched..(shows what the Creator thinks of such things).Thus says the God of Israel, Go ahead, use your burnt offerings, your sacrifices and eat their flesh.

Clarke's Commentary:."I will receive neither sacrifice nor oblation from you; therefore you may take the beasts intended for sacrifice and slay and eat them for your common nourishment.".These evil ones also ate humans.

Jeremiah 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.

These were added later as required under the Mosaic Law, but they were done before that law came into effect:.Genesis 4:4-6; 31:54; Hebrews 11:4.

The people back then, most of them, had no heart for the Creator and this was the reason for the flood (Genesis 6:11-17), but the people soon became the same again:.Jeremiah 44:16,17. The ancient sacrifices and offerings that were added after they exited from Egypt would somewhat direct their minds toward God:.Hebrews 9:9,10. From the beginning of humans on Earth, God wanted a people to be in love with Him, because it was good for them:.Deuteronomy 5:29.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them.(who was 'them'?.Exodus 3:17), saying, Obey my voice and I will be your God and you shall be my people and walk you in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

God always wanted good for people and for people to learn (Hosea 6:6), to gain knowledge of being good in heart and that's to be of a higher consciousness:.Deuteronomy 5:29; 7:11-14; Joshua 23:7; Ecclesiastes 8:12; Jeremiah 32:18: Leviticus 19:17; Exodus 22:21-23; Deuteronomy 6:12-14; 10:18-22. So what happened, where is the good?

Jeremiah 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart and went backward and not forward.

Jeremiah 7:24 But they hearkened not.(Jeremiah 44:16,17), nor inclined their ear.(*), but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart.(some of them way back then and even today, were cruel.{Jeremiah 16:12}; an evil heart is one producing that which is not of a high consciousness, which consciousness is within the realm of the thinking of God).and went backward and not forward.

People today have no idea how to go forward. Without being awake to the true God in heaven in one's heart, how can anyone expect to go forward in goodness in life?.2Kings 17:16-19,29,30.

Jeremiah 7:25-28 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them. Yet they.(the people).hearkened not unto me nor inclined their ear but hardened their neck.(stubbornness). They did worse than their fathers. Therefore you speak all these words unto them but they will not hearken to you.(Jeremiah 44:16,17). You're talking to those who will not answer you, even if you say unto them, This is a nation that obeys not the voice of their God, nor receives correction. Truth is perished and is cut off from their mouth.

Not only do they not care about God, a lot of them have not known the true God of creation is real. How could they have known?

Jeremiah 7:29 Cut off your hair, O Jerusalem and cast it away and take up a lamentation on high places, for the Lord has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Jeremiah 7:30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, says God. They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

Evil ones do not respect the true God because they are a spawn of Satan. We call them mankind, because they look like they are human, but are not.

Jeremiah 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Jeremiah 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire.(so selfishly evil were they that they would do something like this; Tophet is from the Hebrew 'toph' meaning 'a drum', because the cries of children here sacrificed in fire by the priests of Moloch were drowned by the noise of such an instrument; very sick heads were the perpetrators of such things; in some cases they murdered the children first:.Ezekiel 16:20-23); which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

God is saying that such things as man has allowed himself to get into are far away from God's higher consciousness, which we should be becoming like:.Zechariah 7:9,10.

Jeremiah 7:30,31 is repeated in Jeremiah 32:34,35 with some distinctions.

Jeremiah 7:34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, for the land shall be desolate.

Jeremiah 8:1 At that time, says God, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah and the bones of his princes and the bones of the priests and the bones of the prophets and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves.

Jeremiah 8:2 And they shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved and whom they have served and after whom they have walked and whom they have sought and whom they have worshipped. They shall not be gathered, nor be buried. They shall be for dung upon the face of the Earth.

Jeremiah 8:3,4 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, says God. Moreover you shall say unto them, shall they fall and not arise? Shall he turn away and not return?

Jeremiah 8:5 Why is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual.backsliding? Isn't it because they hold fast.deceit and refuse to return.(they are stupidly stubborn, refusing to research to find out what's true in their lives, so they can follow a better way:.Isaiah 56:10)?

Jeremiah 8:6 I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright. No man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done?.(Proverbs 14:12).Every one turned to his course.(way of life).as the horse rushes into the battle.

Jeremiah 8:7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming, but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.

They had no idea how to be in alignment with God.

Jeremiah 8:8 How can you say, We are wise and the law of God is with us? And how can you say God in vain did this? It's the pen of the scribes that is in vain.

Jeremiah 8:8 How can you say, We are wise and the law of God is with us?.(the height of selfish living is a feeling of correctness {Proverbs 14:12} in doing anything one pleases {Jeremiah 44:16,17}, even if it may have negative.consequences for others and such hace those who think they are the elite of all others).And how can you say God in vain God did this.(such is the thinking of those who feel spiritual ways are useless because they don't believe in the true God and thus, spiritual things are unimportant to them). It's the pen of the scribes that is in vain.(what they write down is useless).

What good did it do to write down things that would make everyone in the world better? Such is the thinking of those who didn't want God in their lives:.Jeremiah 44:16,17. What they record may be laudatory, but they had no intent of following anything but their own evil ways. Hypocrites they were.

Jeremiah 8:9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken. Lo, they have rejected the word of God. What wisdom is in them?

None! They just stupid, but think they are the elites, the cream of the crop of the world and have the right to subjugate others they regard as far below them, but surprise:.1Corinthians 1:27.

Jeremiah 8:10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others and their fields to them that shall inherit them. For every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the propheteven unto the priest everyone deals falsely.

They lie constantly:.John 8:44. Why? to get anything for greed and self:.Proverbs 1:19.

Jeremiah 8:11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace when there is no peace.

They lie to placate the people while they carry on with their evil plans against them:.Isaiah 30:10.

Jeremiah 8:12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush.(they couldn't blush because of zeal for shameful.selfish.pursuits); an example of this was Benhadad:.1Kings 20:5,6), therefore shall they fall among them that fall. In the time of their visitation.(*).they shall be cast down, says God.

Jeremiah 8:13 I will surely consume them, says God. There shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree and the leaf shall fade and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

Jeremiah 8:14 Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves and let us enter into the defenced cities and let us be silent there, for our God has put us to silence and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned.(original word for 'sinned' here is 'to have 'missed the mark').of God's standard.

Jeremiah 8:15 We looked for peace, but no good came and for a time of health and behold trouble!

One doesn't look for peace outside of him or her. Peace comes from within and then goes to the without. How does this work?

Jeremiah 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Jeremiah 9:2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place for wayfaring men that I might leave my people and go from them! For they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

Ever feel like you just want to get away from it all?

Jeremiah 9:3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies.(they take great effort to make their lies appear valid), but they are not valiant for the truth upon the Earth, for they proceed from evil to evil.(all they have is from what they have known and what they have known is low consciousness life; they go from one evil to another).and they know not me.

They know not God because they don't want to know God (*) and that because they are at their base, selfish.

Jeremiah 9:4 Take you heed every one of his neighbour and trust you not in any brother, for every brother will supplant and every neighbour walks with slanderers.

Jeremiah 9:5,6 And they will deceive every one his neighbour and will not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies and they weary themselves to commit iniquity. Their habitation is in the midst of deceit. Through deceit they refuse to know me, says God.

Jeremiah 9:7 Therefore thus says God, Behold, I will melt them and try them, for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?

For how else can I wake them up?

Jeremiah 9:8,9 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out. It speaks deceit. One speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but his heart is to lay waiting to take advantage of him. Shall I not visit them for these things? says God. Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Jeremiah 9:13 And Godsaid, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;

Jeremiah 9:14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them.

Jeremiah 9:15,16 Therefore thus the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood.(Deuteronomy 29:18).and give them water of gall to drink. I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glories glory in this, that he knows me and knows about me, that I am truly God which exercises lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness in the Earth, for in these things I delight.
