Happy shall he be, that takes and dashes your little ones against the stones..(sounds inhuman and cruel; who would do this to anyone? and coming from God in the scriptures???; it's referring to the reaping of what the ancient Babylonian system had sown { it was the time of the Old Testament Law where the 'eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth concept reigned as a guideline for judges to administer justice: Exodus 21:24; Leviticus 24:20; Deuteronomy 19;21 and didn't apply for reasons toward an individual's revenge:.Leviticus 19:18 "You shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself..."; Proverbs 24:29}; the law of the universe is 'one reaps what he has sown'}; it's not the will of Creator-God that any should perish: 2Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not...willing that any should perish...",.Matthew 5:38-45; it's just that a universal law that was set up by the Creator so mankind would have impetus to learn ways of higher consciousness which were better for him and for this, mankind unfortunately, had to be taught by experience, the experience of reaping whatever he had sown; like water, it can be used to quench one's thirst or to drown someone, or like fire, to cook food or to burn someone's dwelling place down or, like your voice and attitude, it can be used to be kind or to castigate another; the reap/sow law works for good as well as evil:.Matthew 18:7; the choice here is with the individual)
