Calgary and area

The snow capped Rocky Mountains.(discovertherockies.com/).can be easily seen from Calgary.(pics).looking west toward world famous Banff, flatlands to the east, lakes, valleys.(discoverbanff.com/).and many parks right within the city.

It's very inspiring to live in this area. I'm thankful that I do!  Within the city are many very large parks. One is gigantic Fish Creek Park.(type into Google).with its valleys and rivers, paved walkways, recreational lake, barbecue areas, etc. Another is Nose Hill Park, where high up, overlooking the city a spectacular view awaits.

The Calgary area has about 1.4 million people. This city is really spread out. It has more land area than Los Angeles, as the parks and paved cycle trails are everywhere, including for miles along Calgary's rivers. The two main newspapers for local information are The Calgary Herald.(calgaryherald.com).and The Calgary Sun.(calgarysun.com).

Calgary had 1,902,711 acres.(7700 hectares).of parkland, with 186 miles.(300 kilometers).of paved walking and cycling paths in 2003; the city has grown by over a third since then. Calgary and area had 62 golf courses as of August 1, 2000, 169 public tennis courts, 285 community soccer and football fields, 18 city managed ice arenas, 310 baseball diamonds, 12 indoor swimming pools.(two are giant wave pools in tropical surroundings), 9 outdoor pools and 9 wading pools.

However, all the pools are still way behind in technology as they continue to 'purify'.(poison).the water with ancient stinky and dangerous chlorine instead of the much less expensive and easily made non smelling, highly effective and safe colloidal silver. Why do they keep poisoning in so many areas when there are safe and inexpensive alternatives? Hmmm!

On the high speed freeway, it takes about an hour at 60 miles per hour to go from one end to the other.(north to south).of the city.

Calgary, like all of Alberta, has clean mountain air.(air quality is rated good 99% of the time in spite of the chemtrails), no sales tax, little debt, no provincial income tax and a negligent crime rate. Calgary's business dress is deftly casual.

Most people here are very friendly, helpful and kind. Jobs go begging in oil and gas.(Canada has 786 petroleum exploration and production companies of which 678 are headquartered in Calgary).and high tech.(computers, software development, communications, etc. –.some unique companies here).

Much revenue comes also from agriculture.(much of it now organic and of ancient grains, not the stomach upsetting newer wheats), the cattle industry.(organic beef, chicken and pork farms are growing), forestry and tourism. Many famous movie and music stars have permanent residences to get away to in the Calgary/Bragg Creek/Banff/Canmore areas.

70% of Calgarians regularly use the Internet, 20% higher than the Canadian average. Calgarians have the highest level of post secondary education in Canada at 58%.

48% of Calgarians take the bus or C-train to work. Calgary has over 1800 buses and about 200 Light Rail Transit vehicles.(C-Train).

Two of my favorite stories in all the Bible are 1 and 2. I think that you would enjoy them too.

Blessings and protection especially to all hearts of kindness. Bye for now.
