Take time to be/stay
connected
to God. Do not allow your heart to get you too far from home.
Do whatever you feel will
bring you back to your connection with the Infinite One; study, music,
meditation, etc. What moves you?
If you 'just cannot handle
it anymore' and are losing the
fire, you have taken a step toward leaving here, perhaps because you
feel that 'no one cares', 'no one understands', 'no one wants to help',
'there is never any end as it just goes on and on and never works out for
me', 'why bother', etc.
One has to be a
warrior in this life, if he or she is going to live it.
But what if you just can't
be a warrior right now, because you're so
down at the moment. What if you just need now some small reward to
keep you going? Many others before you have felt
the same and many coming after you will too:.Job
31:35 "Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty
would answer me and that mine adversary
had written a book."
Psalms
88:2-18 "O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before
you. Let my prayer come before you. Incline your ear unto my cry, for my
soul is full of troubles and my life draws nigh unto the grave. I am counted
with them that go down into the pit. I am as a man that has no strength,
free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom you remember
no more and they are cut off from your hand. You have laid me in the lowest
pit in darkness, in the deeps. Your wrath lies hard upon me and you have
afflicted me with all your waves. Selah. You have put away my acquaintance
far from me. You have made me an abomination unto them. I am shut up and
I cannot come forth. My eye mourns by reason of affliction. Lord, I have
called daily upon you. I have stretched out my hands unto you. Will you
show wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise you? Shall your
loving kindness be declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in destruction?
Shall your wonders be known in the dark and your righteousness in the land
of forgetfulness? But unto you have I cried O Lord and in the morning shall
my prayer prevent.(or,
will it even ever 'come in front of').you.
Lord, why cast you off my soul? Why hide you your face from me? I am afflicted
and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer your terrors, I am distracted.(this
is terrible that you don't seem to be there to help when I need help; it
so distracts me that I can't live properly).
Your fierce wrath goes over me. Your terrors have cut me off. They.(these
terrors if living).came
round about me daily like water. They compassed me about together. Lover
and friend have you put far from me and my acquaintance into darkness.(you've
made it so no one cares about me anymore and I'm in mental darkness and
sorrow continually)." Lamentations
3:31-33 "For the Lord will not cast off for ever. But though he cause
grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
For he does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.(always
a reason and it's not that we are never 'good enough', but this)."
Psalms
27:7-14 "Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice...and answer me...Hide
not thy face far from me. Put not thy servant away in anger. You have been
my help. Leave me not, neither forsake me...I had fainted, unless I had
believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait
on the Lord. Be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart. Wait,
I say, on the Lord." Isaiah 30:19
"...you shalt weep no more. He will be very gracious unto you at the voice
of your cry...he will answer you." Isaiah
65:24 "...before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking,
I will hear." Matthew 7:7 "Ask and
it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened
unto you." Luke 12:6,7 "Are not five
sparrows sold for two farthings and not one of them is forgotten before
God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore;
you are of more value than many sparrows.".Matthew
6:25-34 "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what
you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor yet for your body, what you
shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor
gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much
better than they?...And why take you thought for raiment? Consider the
lilies of the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin
and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field,
which today is and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more
clothe you...Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or What
shall we drink? or Wherewithal shall we be clothed?...for your heavenly
Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek you first
the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be
added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow.('take
no thought' means what?)..."
Psalms
37:24 "Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord
upholds him with his hand."
