Psalms 84:10 For a day in your courts.(being in alignment with God).is better than a thousand.(about this word 'thousand'). I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God.(*), than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
That is, one standing out looking in or just being there in God's kingdom is joy enough. At least he or she is there and can move up to greater things as he or she continues to grow. Nothing is ever permanently set when it comes to love's growth. So, the psalmist is saying, never despair.
Psalms 84:11 For God is a sun and shield. God will give grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psalms 86:10 For you are great and do wondrous things.(such as flowers and beauty and the body). You are God alone.(*).

Psalms 88:2,3 O God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you. Let my prayer come before you. Incline your ear unto my cry, for my soul is full of troubles and my life draws nigh unto the grave. 

Psalms 88:4,5 I am counted with them that go down into the pit. I am as a man that has no strength, free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom you remember no more and they are cut off from your hand.

Psalms 88:7-12 The wrath now in my life lies hard upon me and has afflicted me. Selah. My acquaintances are far from me. I am an abomination unto them, shut away and I cannot come forth. My eye mourns by reason of affliction. God, I call daily upon you and have stretched out my hands unto you. Will you show wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise you? Shall your loving kindness be declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in destruction? Shall your wonders be known in the dark and your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

Psalms 88:14,15 God, why cast you off my soul.(*)? Why hide your face from me? I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer your terrors I am distracted.
This is terrible that you don't seem to be there to help when I need help It so distracts me that I can't live properly; get help!

The verse here is a prophecy about when Emmanuel felt the Father forsook him:.Matthew 27:46.
Psalms 88:17,18 They.(these terrors if living).came round about me daily like water. They compassed me about together. Lover and friend are far from me and my acquaintances have gone as it were, into darkness.
The psalmist is saying, 'No one cares about me anymore, Others keep away from me and I'm in mental darkness and sorrow continually'. This Psalm reflects how all of us feel at one time or another, where impenetrable darkness without comfort is all around us and our affairs. Believing how close to you God actually is, helps and of course, always ask for help.
Psalms 89:1 <Maschil of Ethan.(name means 'firm'; 'Ezrahite' means distinguished for his wisdom:.1Kings 4:29-31; Ethan is named as the author of the 89th Psalm. He was of the tribe of Levi).the Ezrahite> I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever. With my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations.

Psalms 89:2-4 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever. Your faithfulness you establish in the very heavens. I have made a covenant.(an agreement).with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Your seed will I establish for ever and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.

Psalms 89:5 And the heavens shall praise your wonders, O Lord. Your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Psalms 89:6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

Psalms 89:7-9 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto you? or to your faithfulness round about you? You rule the raging of the sea. When the waves thereof arise, you still them.

Psalms 89:10 You have broken Rahab in pieces.(what Rahab was this?), as one that is slain. You have scattered your enemies with your strong arm.

Psalms 89:11.The heavens are yours and the Earth also is yours. As for the world and the fulness thereof, you have founded them.

Psalms 89:14.Justice and judgment are the habitation of your throne. Mercy and truth shall go before your face.
Things God is concerned about are the higher consciousness qualities.
Psalms 89:19 Then you spoke in vision to your holy one and said, I have laid help upon one that is mighty. I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

Psalms 89:20-23 I have found David my servant. With my holy oil have I anointed him. With whom my hand shall be established; mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face and plague them that hate him.

Psalms 89:24 My faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

Psalms 89:25-31 I will set his hand also in the sea and his right hand in the rivers. He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God and the rock of my salvation. Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the Earth. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore and my covenant shall stand fast with him. His seed also will I make to endure for ever and his throne as the days of heaven. If his children forsake my law and walk not in my judgments, if they break my statutes and keep not my commandments;

Psalms 89:32,33 Then will I visit their transgression.(what was their transgression?).with the rod and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

Psalms 89:34,35 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David

Psalms 89:36 His seed shall endure for ever and his throne as the sun before me.

Psalms 89:37 It shall be established for ever as the moon and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

Psalms 89:48.(closer to the original).What man lives who will not see death?.(this man {Hebrews 11:5} and us today if in Christ) Shall he deliver his own soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
