What kinds of pride are there? Are you proud of your children? Do you take pride in your appearance? That's good!

Psalms 10:4,5 "The wicked through the pride of his countenance will not seek God because he remains unawakened to having any purpose for God in his life. His ways are always grievous. God's judgments are far above and out of his sight. As for all his enemies, God puffs at them."

You may be immensely pleased that you are doing a good job at your line of work and you may be pleased with your children and you take pride in your appearance being always neat and clean. 

Good pride involves dedicating oneself to achieving one's highest potential, both in one's character and life and helping others in whatever way you may be able to, to also attain this good pride.

Personal pride is often chipped away at by government in making citizens a means to accomplish their ends. 

That is not the type of 'pride' we will be discussing more about here. It is another kind of pride which is considered to be a character fault:.Proverbs 30:32 "If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself or if you have thought evil, lay your hand upon your mouth.".An example of the wrong kind of pride is feeling one deserves something and becomes hurt when they don't get it; like a little kid. Ancient Ephraim was that way and it led to their destruction:.Judges 12:1-6. And so was ancient Naaman, at first:.2Kings 5:10-14.

Pride cuts one off from his own subconscious so that he or she is unaware of the amazing gift God has given us, that if learned to be correctly used, will bring abundance in all areas of life:.Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goes before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall.".God knocks many times daily on peoples' souls, but they are so used to listening to their lower consciousness, they quickly dismiss this thing, not even finding out what's spiritually trying to get their attention so their life would massively go better. But you dear friend are awakened and so you shall know about it, so that this free gift from God can marvelously be of benefit to you.

The dark side beings are the way their leader is:.Ezekiel 28:12-19. 

One can eliminate arrogance by simply deciding to be an individual of humility and gentleness and by seeing arrogance for what it is, a cover for fear and insecurity.(one will only see his faults if he sincerely wants to, but then how?).

You can recognize an arrogant individual; they don't listen with an ear to consider anything better, for themselves or for others:.Zephaniah 2:15. That's one reason we still have poverty, disease and lack after thousands of years of history.

Arrogance, being a form of selfishness, prevents one from moving forward and eventually takes him or her down to awaken them. Was this why ancient Job had to go through what he did? It's like a law. It always works that way, but arrogant people will not see it until it's too late to alter their course. That's why Christ talked so much about changing, called repentance in the Bible.

A destructive thing is one who possesses arrogance with carelessness, typical of tinpot dictators and uncaring politicians, uncaring that is, until it comes to them wanting again for the public to elect them.

A person run by the pride his ego dictates is evidenced by his taking offense when he is questioned by another. This kind of pride is self-centered, not open-minded, not easily approachable.

Obadiah 1:3,4 "The pride of the heart has deceived him...that says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? Though you exalt yourself as the eagle and though you set your nest among the stars, thence will I bring you down, says the Lord." Isaiah 13:11 "...I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.(original implies 'those proud of their power').".Why? Instead, be proud of what God is doing in your life and in the lives of others.

Habakkuk 2:4 "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him....."

Luke 1:51 ".....he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts."

Daniel 4:28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spake and said, Is not this great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king's mouth there fell a voice from heaven saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from you..(*)

Job 40:12 "Look on every one that is proud and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.".(Isaiah 3:16)

Some people do works for reasons of self pride, reasons for their righteousness. This was like the Pharisees in Emmanuel time:.Matthew 6:1-6; 23:5-9.('father' as in the sense of worship toward God);.John 12:43 "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." Zechariah 4:6 "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts."

Many trust in their ego as if they really believe that they can 'find it' and 'accomplish it', that is, whatever are their particular goals in life and be able to 'maintain it' on their own. But life will show them they cannot. God has said:.John 15:5 "...without me you can do nothing."

There is only one way to get what you want in life:.John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing."

Without having the knowledge of how to use these universal laws to bring a person all he wants, he continues under subjugation, bumbling along in life under influence of the mass mind of humanity and life continues with many hurts and he never 'finds his heaven on Earth'. He just never comes to the light that would show him the way:.Haggai 1:6 "You have sown much and bring in little; you eat, but you have not enough.(means dissatisfied), you drink, but you are not filled with drink, you clothe youself, but there is none warm and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes."
   Ephesians 5:14 "Wherefore he said, Awake you that sleep and arise from the dead and Christ shall give you light." John 14:6 "Emmanuel said unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes unto the Father, but by me."

The prideful are headed for a fall:.Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goes before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall.".(*)

1Timothy 3:6 "...being lifted up with pride he falls into the condemnation of the devil."
