Matthew
6:1 Take heed that you do not your alms.(your
good deeds).before men, to be
seen of them. Otherwise you have no reward
of your Father which is in heaven.
Heaven
(where is this?)
is a
realm, not
physical, a state, not
a place. The kingdom of God is only
found
within an individual, an energy coming to those increasing in high
consciousness, an energy coming.(a
supply).to
those on the road of higher consciousness from the intelligent energy behind
it all, known as the Silence,
an energy affecting good in and from those so
inclined. Heaven comprises the frequencies (all
is frequencies) of God, who is high consciousness. Emmanuel saw Lucifer
being cast out of heaven and 'down' to Earth:.Luke
10:18.
Matthew
6:2 Therefore when you do your alms, do not sound a trumpet before
yourself as the hypocrites
do in the synagogues
and in the streets that they may have glory of men.('look
what I did, come see what I did'). Verily
I say unto you, They have their reward.(exhausts
thereby the merit
of the act).
Instead,
have singleness of motive
to benefit the object of one's giving and with no secret thought of self-exaltation,
otherwise
one who gives is giving."to
be seen of men".(Matthew
23:5).or
has some other ulterior
motive for selfish gain.
Matthew
6:3 But when you do alms.(your
good works), let not your left hand know what your right
hand does,
What
good works really matter? All comes out of your mind. If you think to help
someone it comes first in your mind to do so. What other good works can
be done in the mind first, out of which the actual physicalness comes?
In other words, how can the mind be used to improve your life and the lives
of others? Learn to use
the gift, that's how.
Matthew
6:4 That your alms may be in secret. And your Father which sees in
secret himself shall reward you openly.
Matthew
6:5 And when you pray, don't be as the hypocrites
are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues
and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily
I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray.(what's
praying?), enter into your closet and when you have shut
your door, pray to your Father which is in secret and your Father which
sees in secret will reward you openly.
Matthew
6:6 But you, when you pray.(and
contemplate
and meditate),
enter into your closet.(somewhere
you can be
alone and quiet:.James
3:13).and when you have shut your
door, pray to your Father which is in secret.(hidden
as
it were,
inside
you.{*}).and
your Father which sees in secret will reward you openly.(re
word 'reward', answer the prayer in the physical world; when,
how?).
Matthew 6:7 But when you pray, use not vain repetitions
as the heathen do. For they think that they be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew
6:7 But when you pray.(original
means 'praise), use not vain repetitions.(a
vain.repetition
is one that is repeated without meaning,
but it can also apply to affirmations,
which become trite
after awhile. A vain repetition is like just saying the words without heartfelt
intent, like here they spoke aloud so that others would hear them and know
they were praying {verse 2 above}; such words don't mean anything beyond
just saying the words, except as some religious leaders would do this to
impress others; but, it's just
verbalism,
like someone speaking in a language you may have no comprehension of would
only be saying what you would recognize as some type of sounds, but without
meaning to those unfamiliar with the language), as the heathen
do. For they think that they be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew
23:3 "All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and
do, but do not you after their works, for they say and do not.".They
are hypocrites.
Is praise vain
repetition? Not if you feel it in your heart as much as you want it to
be
meaningful:.1Thessalonians
5:17.
Matthew
6:8 Be not you therefore like unto them. For your Father knows what
things you have need of, before you ask him.
So,
do ask!.Zechariah
1:3. No askey, no getty!
Know that
the Infinite One cares for you.(Matthew
10:29-31).and
that whatever is in your heart must come into your experience.
How
is this worked?
Matthew 6:9.(then
verse by verse below).After
this manner therefore pray you. Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be
your name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in Earth, as it is
in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our
debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but
deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the
glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew
6:9 After this manner therefore pray
you.(not that
you have to pray these exact words; it means that overall it's recommended
to have these things in your heart). Our Father.(note
the
oneness; it's not 'my' Father, but 'our' Father from who the divine
nature comes; the prayer here is of attention being on the great Master
Creator of all).in heaven.(showing
God is in the invisible but very real realm and that this is the one and
only true God
of all life, light, compassion and creation; where's
this heaven?), Hallowed.(means
holy; what's
'holy' mean? here our attention is on God and what His name means to us).be
your name.
2Chronicles
20:6.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in
Earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew
6:10 Thy kingdom come.(our
important attentions are not on the temporal
things of the physical life, but instead on the
real reasons we have been put on the Earth. Thy will.(God's
will is His way and what way would that be?.John
10:10; 1John 4:8,16).be
done.(better to have
God's good will on Earth than the will man's decisions have shown up to
be; original for 'be done'
is 'become').in
Earth, as it is in heaven.(life
on Earth will be good for all).
Generally,
the first few states of consciousness from birth on up are usually apart
from spiritual things, then come the things of the spirit; a child, teenager
and younger adults are mostly busying themselves with the things of growing
up, learning, dating, marriage, home, etc. and as such, are generally not
too interested in the things of the spirit until later. Such as it is and
such as it should be. The universe for each of us unfolds as it should.
Praying for God's will to be done, both overall and in our individual lives,
is better than an eagerness
to unfold the things we would want done for us.
Matthew
6:11 Give us this day our daily bread,
You
ask God for your wants by using
the free gift God has provided for you to get the things God deeply
wants you to have:.John
10:10; 1Timothy 6:17.
Matthew
6:12 And forgive us our debts.(those
negative
things which have
accrued
against us from how we have thought,
said and lived, debts paid by Christ; original for word 'debts' connotes
those things we've done to take advantage of others to their detriment
and our gain).as we forgive
our debtors.(those
things others owe us)
Being
an individual of forgiveness doesn't mean
you allow another to carry on hurting you and/or others as they may be
doing:.1Peter
3:9. Harmful people need to be dealt
with so they do not carry on hurting others.
Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation,
but
deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the
glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew
6:13 And lead us not into temptation.(God
never tempts anyone to do evil:.James
1:13 "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God, for God
cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man."),
but
deliver us from.(original
also 'out of').evil.{Galatians
1:4 and, word evil
in the original}; ask God to keep you from the severe trials of life that
the dark side beings are out to lay in your path; one would think that
because God loves us, that one wouldn't have to ask, but, asking {Matthew
7:7} seems to be important, the reasons being it keeps us aligned with
God and that God never
overrides us). For thine is the
kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Daily ask the
real God of all love and light to keep you from evil because life
is a pressure cooker. Where
do you find Him? Start with prayer.
A better translation
of."lead us not
into temptation".would
have been 'lead us away from being tempted':.Psalms
103:14; 141:4; James
1:13. Or, also 'show us how not to have
to go through severe trials' and how would
that be?.Romans
8:28; Psalms 91:7-15.
The verse here
shows us that this is what it's all about and always will be and that is,
God's
kingdom on Earth:.1Corinthians
2:9; Philippians 3:7-14.
Verses 9-13
describe words the One we call Emmanuel used as a guideline
in prayer. It's commonly called the 'Lord's prayer'. Emmanuel's actual
prayers were:.Mark
1:35; Luke 5:16; 9:29;
22:31,32.
Matthew
6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you.
Talking
here about the set down multiversal law of reaping
and sowing, where we get back what we are like and what we are like
determines what we give and if we forgive. Are we a people that are for
giving to others or a people of getting from others? That is, existing
to better others:.Philippians
2:3 "...in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than
themselves."
1Thessalonians
5:13 "...be at peace among yourselves."
Matthew
6:15 But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your
Father forgive your trespasses.
It's
an
automatic thing.
Ephesians
4:32; Colossians 3:13.
Matthew
6:16-18 Moreover when you fast,
be not, as the hypocrites,
of a sad countenance,
for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But you, when you fast,
anoint your head.(comb
your hair and make yourself look good).and
wash your face, That you appear not unto men to fast, but unto your Father
which is in secret and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you
openly.
Matthew
6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon Earth, where moth
and rust does corrupt and where thieves break through and steal.
The
physical things in life are for learning spiritual things:.2Peter
1:4-11.
Matthew
6:20 But lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven.(Matthew
13:46; Colossians 2:2,3; Hebrews
10:34), where neither moth
nor rust can corrupt them and where thieves do not break through nor can
steal them.
Matthew
6:21 For where your treasure is.(the
treasure is...), there will your heart be also.
What's
important to you is where your passion will be; also in Luke
11:1-4.
Matthew
6:22 The light of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye be single,
all your body is light.(meaning,
we are connected to God from where the light comes
from, through this eye).
Note
it says 'eye', not 'eyes'. What eye is this?.Jeremiah
27:5.
The eye is
your attention, your focus:.Proverbs
4:25-27.
Matthew 6:23 But if your eye
is evil, your whole body shall become full of darkness. If therefore the
light that you claim to have.(Proverbs
14:12).is
being darkened, how great is that darkness becoming?.(?)
Or,
how great will that darkness become before one turns away from it? It's
an alert to not go from being
bad into evil, as those Janet
Ossebaard has revealed have done:.Matthew
10:26.
Matthew
6:23 But if your eye.(what
your mind may be considering).is evil,
your whole body shall become full of darkness. If therefore the light that
is in you.(the
still small 'voice' can still be heard because the light in an individual
is not yet snuffed
out:.Matthew
5:14; 1Timothy 4:2).be
darkness.(that is, is
being darkened), how great is that darkness!.(?)
Matthew
6:24 No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one
and love the other or else he will hold to the one and despise
the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
'Serving
mammon' here is placing too high a value (in comparison with your relationship
with our Creator-Father-God), on money, position and power, the ego
things, where they become more important than growing spiritually. Our
egos convince us to not bother asking questions, leaving us to assume
money, glory (what one wants others to think of him or her), etc. is to
be preferred
in maintaining.lifestyle:.James
4:4.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought
for your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor yet for
your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the
body than raiment?
Matthew
6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life.("take
no thought" here means not to have undue.concern
or anxious
thought over things, or, don't worry, be content:.Philippians
4:6..Barnes
Notes:."The
word 'thought', when the Bible was translated, meant 'anxiety' and
is so used frequently by the Old
English authors; the word anxiety here used does not mean that we are
to exercise no care about worldly matters, such as, no care to preserve
our property or to provide for our families, but that there is to be such
confidence in the Creator as to free the mind from anxiety and instead
have such a sense of dependence on Him as to keep it calm.".Know
that the Creator is looking after you. Trust Him and press on with your
life with
your
Soul's guidance), what you shall eat or what you shall drink,
nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than
meat and the body than raiment?
1Timothy
6:10.
Matthew
6:26 Behold.(or
'take notice of').the fowls
of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns,
yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?
Matthew
6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit
unto his stature?
Matthew
6:28 And why take you thought for raiment.(what
to put on)? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow,
they toil not neither do they spin.
Matthew
6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon.in
all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these.
Matthew
6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today
is and tomorrow is cast into the oven.(even
today many people of the world use straw, stubble, etc. to heat their clay
ovens for cooking), shall he not much more.(Luke
11:9-13).clothe you, O you
of little faith?
Matthew
6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat?.(Proverbs
10:3).or What shall we drink?.(Isaiah
41:17).or Wherewithal shall
we be clothed?
Matthew
6:32 For after all these things do the Gentiles.(today
'Gentile' thinking is the 'mass
mind', the mind of me, me. me, the mind focused mostly on the things
of self; what Job learned:.Job
42:10).seek, for your heavenly.(in
the invisible world).Father
knows that you have need of all these things.
Matthew 6:33 But seek you first.the
kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things are added unto
you.
Matthew
6:33 But seek you.(Jeremiah
29:13).first.the
kingdom of God.(where
does one find this kingdom of Creator-God? And, how does one seek it,
if not by learning to use the gift
God provided so you could proper in all ways?.Deuteronomy
29:9).and his righteousness.(*).and
all
these things are added.(original
for word 'added' is 'set for your advantage as is a fine meal at a table';
like being invited to sit at a meal, you have to take
action to walk to the table to eat it, but you'll know what action
to take as your Soul will provide the
synchronicities; ancient Elijah's
example).unto you.
First desire
inner change and get
rid of any limitations. Aim for the riches of the Soul and all else
will
be added, once you use the gift
properly. Aiming your energies toward externals will only increase unhappiness
and lead to problems, because you're walking a way apart from what's best
for you and others and this breaks a universal law, the law of love:.Matthew
22:36-40. So, decide to love in all you do. Know what you want and
why you want it. God knows what you want and what you need.(Philippians
4:11,12), but should we have all we want without the high consciousness
character
to handle it? Avoid being like a child in a candy shop that wants all the
stuff that'll make him sick because he only thinks that it tastes good
and that he wants it:.Psalms
34:6,10,17. Wanting is good, for without it your life is headed downward
and by having wants, you head upward.
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow,
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient
unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew
6:34 Take therefore no thought.(what's
this mean 'take no thought'?).for
the morrow.(it means
not
to worry and be anxious
for how things will work out in the future for you; the Creator knows
what you want when you know
what you want and need and is completely capable to suppy:.Philippians
4:19; if you didn't take thought for the next day you would never have
your clothes washed ahead of time, your car would not be filled with gas
and you would have nothing to eat at home for breakfast tomorrow; don't
be silly,
be
wise), for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.(?).
