Matthew
5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain. And when
he was set, his disciples came unto him.
Matthew
5:2 And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,.
Here
Emmanuel
begins what has come to be known as the beatitudes.
Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew
5:3 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
the poor in spirit.(the
poor in spirit are usually those who may {1Corinthians
1:26} also be physically
poor, lacking abundance and thankfully, lacking the arrogance
that often accompanies
the feeling of ego
fulness {remember the song with the lyric
"lookin' out for number 1"?, how shallow that type of thinking proves out
to later be}:.Revelation
3:17).for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.(of
heaven, not
in
heaven)..(?)
Maybe poor
in spirit, that is not having an inflated opinion of self, but rich
in God:.Isaiah
66:2.
Matthew
5:4 Blessed.(original
is 'happy' and
tracing back further, the word 'bless'
means some not nice things).are
they that mourn for they shall be comforted.
Matthew
5:5 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
the meek for they shall.(word
'shall' not in original).inherit
the Earth.
Closer
to the original:."Happy
are the meek for their inheritance of Earth.(which
one?).is
established and secure."
The meek are
those who are not raucous,
but gentle, humble.
Psalms
37:11.
Matthew
5:6 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
they which do hunger.(spiritual
hunger).and thirst after
righteousness.(what
is righteousness?), for they shall.(word
'shall'' not in original).be
filled.
Matthew
5:7 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
the merciful for they shall.(word
'shall'' not in original).obtain
mercy
Like
all the beatitudes (declarations by Emmanuel) here they reflect back into
your life what you are like. We thus judge ourselves. You reap
what you have sown.
Matthew
5:8 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
the pure in heart.(of
unwavering.high
consciousness).for they
shall.(word
'shall' not in original {*}).see
God.(*).
But,
what about John 1:18 where it says
that."no man
has seen God"?
What then,
would a wavering consciousness be like?.James
1:18.
Matthew
5:9 Blessed.(original
for word 'blessed' is 'happy').are
those who make peace.(*),
for this shows they are sons of God.
Verse
is closer to the original, that is they are of the same
high consciousness God has.
Emmanuel Christ
is here also showing that those who are opposed to peace for all, are not
of the true, everliving
Creator-God of life, light, love, compassion, mercy and kindness who is
bringing all those in the multiverse
to the oneness of love. That is, all who want life to head that way for
all:.Matthew
8:12; 1Corinthians 2:9.
Matthew
5:44; John 14:27; Romans
12:18; 2Corinthians 13:11;
James
3:18.
Matthew
5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew
5:11 Blessed are you, when men shall revile
you and persecute
you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for
my sake.
Matthew
5:12 Rejoice and be exceeding glad. For great is your reward in heaven.(reward
is there now, but not
for long), for so persecuted
they the prophets
which were before you..(?)
Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the Earth. But
if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth
good for nothing, but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matthew
5:13 You are the salt of the Earth.(salt
preserves, sweetens life's insipidness
and freshens up; essentially
a man of the Creator should be adding value to all whom he meets and in
all he does; see note at Mark 9:50).
But if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith
shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good
for nothing, but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.(*).
One's value
comes from being in alignment with a higher
consciousness.
Matthew
5:14.You
are the light of the world. A city that is set
on an hill cannot be hid.
Matthew
5:15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on
a candlestick and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
Matthew
5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works and glorify.(or,
'this glorifies').your Father
which is in heaven..(?)
Matthew
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.(to
fulfill the law and what the prophets talked about)..(?)
What
law did He come and not to destroy it and why?
But he did
come to destroy something?.Hebrews
2:14.
Matthew
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and Earth pass, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the
law, till all be fulfilled.(original
for 'fulfilled' is 'come to pass').
Christ
came to fulfill
the Mosaic Law. It became so perverted
from God's original design of it. Even those who claimed they kept it,
had no idea of it at all. These were the religious
leaders (liars) to the people in Emmanuel's time on Earth. But it had
to be fulfilled before it could pass into history and
Christ did that. Then what happens?.1Corinthians
2:9.
Matthew
5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments
and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of
heaven, but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called
great in the kingdom of heaven.
What
are the least commandments? Well, what's the great ones?.Matthew
22:35-40.
Matthew
5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed
the righteousness of the scribes
and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.(it's
something one 'enters', how?).
Matthew
5:21 You have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt
not kill and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the
judgment.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever
is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.
And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council, but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell
fire.
Matthew
5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without
a cause.(such as are
bullies).shall
be in danger of the judgment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca.(meaning
'vain, worthless
individual'; that is, disdain
for another human being caused by only seeing him through the eyes of hate
{Malachi 2:10}, not realizing that
underneath
it all, we are all connected and what you think of others, you feed
into the mass mind
which both comes back to affect
all humanity and oneself), shall be in danger of the council.(original
'sanhedrin'),
but whosoever shall say, Thou fool.(original
means a hidden corrupt nature, that is, one feels another is rotten to
the core and has contempt
toward that individual, that is, bad to the depth of his being, no good
in him at all; it's really another way of hateful anger toward God because
the
Soul of God supports all in life), shall be in danger of hell
fire.
Barnes
Notes: This anger or indignation
against sin, is not what our Saviour speaks of here. He speaks here about
anger without a cause, that is, unjustly,
rashly,
hastily,
where no offence had been given or intended. In that case anger, such as
a bully might
have, is evil and therefor
it is a violation of 'he that hates his brother is a murderer':.1John
3:15. He has a feeling which would lead him to commit murder if it
were fully acted out. He or she has an 'I don't like you attitude',
a 'I think you shouldn't be on the Earth', type of attitude.
Matthew
5:23,24 Therefore if you bring you gift to the altar and there remember
that your brother has ought against you, leave there your gift before the
altar and go your way and first be reconciled to your brother and then
come and offer your gift.
Matthew 5:25 Agree with your adversary
quickly while you are in the way with him, lest at any time the adversary
deliver you to the judge and the judge deliver you to the officer and you
be cast into prison.
Matthew
5:25 Agree.(word
'agree' in the original means 'to give yourself wholly to', that is, to
be agreeable;
to get along with people; find something in what another says that
you can agree with:.Romans
12:18; 14:18,19; 1John
2:15-17).with your adversary
quickly while you are in the way with him.(in
a situation that could turn worse), lest at any time the adversary
deliver you to the judge and the judge deliver you to the officer and you
be cast into prison..(?)
Simply means
to learn and apply how to get along well with people. If you engage in
arguing with others and it gets to the point of you harming them with words
or by actions, you could end up in trouble.
Matthew
5:26 Verily I say unto thee. You shall by no means come out thence,
till you hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Romans
12:18.
Matthew
5:27 You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shalt
not commit adultery.
Matthew
5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust.(original
for word 'lust' is 'desire').after
her has committed adultery
with her already in his heart.
Nothing
wrong with strongly desiring a sincere relationship with a woman and all
that comes with it. It's when you want her just for sex or for money
and with no concern shown for a sincere deepening relationship, that transcends
the bounds of decency;
as it's then a one way selfish action:.Proverbs
7:11-23. Sex and spirit are made to flirt with one another, but religion
has caused much suppression here.
Matthew
5:29 And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out and cast it from
you. For it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish
and not that your whole body should be cast into hell..(?)
Matthew
5:30 And if your right hand offend you, cut it off and cast it from
you. For it is profitable for you that one of thy members should perish
and not that your whole body should be cast into hell..(?)
Matthew
5:31 It has been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give
her a writing of divorcement.
Matthew
5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving
for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery. And whosoever
shall marry her that is divorced commits adultery.
Matthew
5:33 Again, you have heard that it has been said by them of old time,
You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto the Lord your oaths.
Matthew
5:34 But I say unto you, Swear.(?).not
at all, neither by heaven,
for it is God's
throne.
God's
throne is in His temple and the temple is you:.1Corinthians
3:16; 2Corinthians 6:16;
(*). So, we see by
this that heaven
is an invisible place that God permeates
and that's everywhere including inside you, but you'll never know that
unless you're awakened to it. So,
how
close then is God?
