Proverbs 5:1,2  My son, attend unto my wisdom and bow your ear to my understanding.(in other words, 'listen carefully and you'll learn'), so that you are able to regard discretion.(have enough information to decide wisely).and that your lips may keep knowledge.(you'll remember what you are learning).

Proverbs 5:3-6 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb.(a honeycomb has many chambers and this analogy to a strange woman's words shows she has many tricks in mind she can use against you).and her mouth is smoother than oil. But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. And, lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that you can not know them.(hard to figure out what the con is)

Proverbs 5:7 Hear me now therefore, O you children and depart not from the words of my mouth..(listen to learn and live)

Proverbs 5:8-10 Remove your way far from her and come not nigh the door of her house, lest you give your honour unto others and your years unto the cruel, lest strangers be filled with your wealth.(similar to what happened to Samson by the evil Delilah).and your labours be in the house of a stranger;

Proverbs 5:11-13.(listen and learn from life so you won't end up with your life having been a waste). And you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed, And say, How have I hated instruction and my heart despised reproof and have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
Don't live your life by putting yourself in a position where you later wonder how on Earth did you become like that or get into such a mess.
Proverbs 5:14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
In other words, 'I was heading toward more evil with those I congregated.with almost every time we got together'.
Proverbs 5:15 Drink waters out of your own cistern and running waters out of your own well.

Proverbs 5:19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe. Let her breasts satisfy you at all times and be you ravished always with her love.

Proverbs 5:20 And why will you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord.(God knows all:.Psalms 44:21).and he ponders all his goings.

Proverbs 5:22.23 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself and he shall be held bythe cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Proverbs 6:1-3 My son, if you be surety for your friend or if you have stricken your hand with a stranger, You art snared with the words of your mouth, you are taken with the words of your mouth. Do this now, my son and deliver thyself, when you are come into the hand of your friend; go, humble yourself and make sure your friend.(reestablish the friendship).

Proverbs 6:4,5 Give not sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids, until you deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways and be wise.

Proverbs 6:7-11 Which having no guide, overseer or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep and then so shall your poverty come as one that travels.(comprised with.Barnes Notes: keeps going here and there for no other purpose than to do it or one who travels around to rob others).and your want as an armed man.(comprised with.Barnes Notes: carries a weapon to rob others for gain, but will end up lacking; why?).

Proverbs 6:12,13 A naughty individual, a wicked man, walks with a froward mouth. He winks with his eyes, he speaks with his feet, he teaches with his fingers.(don't assume, watch his body language; is the body do you think, in sync with his heart or betraying it? watch what he or she is doing:.Matthew 7:16-20);

Proverbs 6:14,15.Frowardness is in his heart. He devises mischief continually.(figures out ways to take advantage of others). He sows discord.(creates doubt to obviate an honest solution to a concern you might have {"Oh. that's a long road to ever get that change done and it would cost you a lot in time and money."} and always for some selfish greedy advantage accruing to him or her; such are the political types found in all segments of society who are sneaks and liers:.Matthew 7:16-20.). Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly. Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
Obviously living his life not knowing and not wanting to know any of the ways of love.
Proverbs 6:16,17 These six things does the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood,

Proverbs 6:18 An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief.(Proverbs 14:12),

Proverbs 6:19 A false witness that speaks lies and he that sows discord among brethren.
Sowing discord comes from one who is ignorant of the oneness of the universe.
Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment.(a command is an instruction from one having authority, such as in a parent/child relationship).is a lamp and the law is light and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

Proverbs 6:24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.(a woman not in rapport with you, but keeps that hidden).

Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eyelids.

Proverbs 6:26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread.(this type of woman, such as Delilah was, is out to use you for her gain and cares not for how you may end up). And the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.

Proverbs 6:27-29 Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals and his feet not be burned? So he that goes in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever touches her shall not be innocent.

Proverbs 6:30,31 A thief isn't despised if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry, But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold and give all the substance of his house.
The thief should have asked for what he needed, not steal it. Stealing is of the dark side. What is sevenfold. Not seven times. It's a compounding, where each fold doubles the previous number, so 1 would be 2 (one fold). 2 becomes 4 (2 folds), 4 becomes 16 (three folds), 16 - 256) four folds), 256 - 65536 (five folds), 65536 - 4294967296 (six folds), 64 - 128 (six folds), 4294967296 - 844674407370955e+19 (seven folds or all he has). So he or she would have to restore what was stolen to that value? You stole one dollar. You pay back literally all you have. Hardly fair we might say, but consider those who worked all day for the same amount of pay those who only worked one hour got paid:.Matthew 20:1-16.
Proverbs 6:32-35 But whoso commits adultery with a woman lacks a heart of discretion.(as the original has it). He or she that does such a thing destroys their own soul.(by taking yourself out of alignment with God). A wound and dishonor shall they experience and reproach shall not be wiped away. For jealousy causes an individual to become enraged, therefore the one offended will not spare in the day of vengeance. He will not regard any ransom, neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts to pacify his anger toward you.

Proverbs 7:1,2 My son, keep my words and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments and live, and my law as the apple of thine eye.

Proverbs 7:3 Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the table of your heart.

Proverbs 7:5-10 That they may keep you from the strange woman.(a woman not really matched up with you, but able to get to your heart with her charm), from the stranger which flatters with her words. For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of discretion, passing through the street near her corner and he went the way to her house, in the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night. And behold there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot and subtil of heart.

Proverbs 7:11-14 She is loud and stubborn. Her feet abide not in her house.(she's always wanting to be out and about promoting herself looking for the big catch, the one with the money who may be easy for her to control). Now is she without, now in the streets and lies in wait at every corner. So she caught him and kissed him and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me. This day have I payed my vows.
In trying to make him think that she's a special catch she promotes herself as a clean living religious person having had all sins covered.
Proverbs 7:15 Therefore came I forth to meet you, diligently to seek your face.("I've been noticing you and I'm really attracted to you. I've been looking for someone as good as you and now I've found you.").and I have found you.
"You're just the guy I've been looking for! You must be my soul mate!"
Proverbs 7:16-23 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning.("I really want you. I've been preparing for a person such as you are and now here you are. Let's make the most of our recent meeting by loving all night"). Let us solace.(let's lose ourselves in sex, far away from the cares of the day).ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home.(she preps him by trying to make him feel comfortable that her man is not at home and so he would not encounter him; she couldn't hide the fact that she had someone else, so trys to make him think that she's not to happy with him so he'll think that he is now the one of choice), he is gone a long journey. He has taken a bag of money with him and will come home at the day appointed. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced.(drives upon).him. He goes after her straightway, as an ox goes to the slaughter or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hastes to the snare and knows not that it is for his life.

Proverbs 8:1-5.(here wisdom is personified).Does not wisdom cry and understanding put forth her voice?.(inside you is something that always wants you to come up higher in life so that your life right now starts on the road of joy and stays that way; is there any true reason why you should not have all the good you want?).She stands in the top of high places by the way in the places of the paths. She cries at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. Unto you, O men, I call and my voice is to the sons of man. O you simple, understand wisdom and you fools, be you of an understanding heart.
Have a heart to want to learn what takes you from mundanity to exuberance.
Proverbs 8:6-8 Hear, for I will speak of excellent things and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.(be honest and of higher consciousness principles). All the words of my mouth are in righteousness.(what's righteousness?). There is nothing froward or perverse in them.
He has chosen the better of the two ways open to humanity.
Proverbs 8:9-12 They are all plain to him that understands and right to them that find knowledge.(and why so are they then plain? because he wants to see things how God sees them:.2Chronicles 15:2). Receive my instruction and not silver.(be out for doing God's ways and not the ways of selfishness and greed resident in those of ordinary consciousness).and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
Seemingly intelligent mental concoctions and has insight to see through the con jobs of others..Barnes Notes; Special rules for the details of life spring out of the highest Wisdom as their source, how?
Proverbs 8:13 The fear.(word fear).of the Lord is to hate evil.(hate as in comparison to high consciousness things; the word hate). Pride, arrogance, the evil way and the froward mouth.(learn about conversation), do I hate.

Proverbs 8:14-21 Counsel is mine and sound wisdom. I am understanding. I have strength. By me kings reign and princes decree justice. By me princes rule and nobles, even all the judges of the Earth. I love them that love me and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me, yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of judgment, That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance and I will fill their treasures.

Proverbs 8:22-28 God possessed me in the beginning.(speaking here of the personification of wisdom).of his way, before his works of old.(John 1:1-5). I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning or ever the Earth was. When there were no depths I was brought forth and when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth. While as yet he had not made the Earth nor the fields nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens I was there. When he set a compass upon the face of the depth, when he established the clouds above, when he strengthened the fountains of the deep.

Proverbs 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree that the waters should not pass his commandment, when he appointed the foundations of the Earth.(guess who designed the Earth to be as it is?)..(Jeremiah 5:22)

Proverbs 8:30 Then I was by him as one brought up with him and I was daily his delight rejoicing always before him.
This whole chapter is about wisdom personified.
Proverbs 8:31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his Earth and my delights were with the sons of men.
Perhaps meaning excitement over the plan of humanity on Earth. It's a delight to work the things of the spirit, that do indeed produce amazing results. And they will for you too, as they have for others. Here's how!
Proverbs 8:32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O you children, for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Proverbs 8:33-35 Hear instruction and be wise and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates.(do daily the things you learn here and what you want actually comes about for you), waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso finds me finds life and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

Proverbs 8:36 But he that sins.(what's the word sin mean?).against me.(words 'against me', not in original).wrongs his own soul.(how is he or she then out of alignment because of this? and wronging one's own soul means he or she has allowed themselves to be cut off as it were, from the Soul of God in them expressing as it does in good things of a better consciousness). All they that hate me love death..(and so we see wisdom personified; ask for it and you'll get it)
It's saying that if one is not of love, which one of its many attributes is wisdom, he or she is living life out of alignment with love, for God is love and love is good, good for you, good for others:.1John 4:8. Do some good!
Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars.
Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all your getting get understanding."
Proverbs 9:6 Forsake the foolish and live and go in the way of understanding.

Proverbs 9:7 He that reproves a scorner gets to himself shame and he that rebukes a wicked man gets himself a blot.

Proverbs 9:8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you. Rebuke a wise man and he will love you.
One is close-minded, arrogantly.resenting whatever opinion.contradicts his or her mindset:.Proverbs 1:22. The other, open-minded, appreciating helpful information. You can't prove anything to anyone whose mind will not even consider alternate information:.Acts 17:11.
Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to one who is wise and he will be yet wiser. Teach a just man.(as compared to a scorner, verses 7 & 8 above).and he will increase in learning.

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is comprehension.
1Kings 3:11.
Proverbs 9:11 For by me your days shall be multiplied and the years of your life shall be increased.

Proverbs 9:12 If you be wise, you are be wise for yourself, but if youou scorn, you alone shalt bear it.

Proverbs 9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous.(noisy; to be in a stir, be in a commotion; to be boisterous, be turbulent). She is simple and knows nothing..(*)

Proverbs 9:14,15 For she sits at the door of her house or on a seat in the high places of the city, to call passengers who go right on their ways.
Trying to get money by charging to have sex with her.
Proverbs 9:16 Whoso is simple.(original is 'foolish', 'naive'), let him turn in hither and as for those that lack comprehension.(isn't in tune with what's really going on), she says to him,

Proverbs 9:17,18 Stolen waters are sweet and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knows not that the dead are there and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
It feels like you have gained but you've only opened a door to things that will work against you to take you down further in life.
