Proverbs 10:1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
A child not brought up with high consciousness principles as shown by parental example, will be acting in way that doesn't grieve the mother and makes the father sad.
Proverbs 10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

Proverbs 10:3 God will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish, but he casts away the substance of the wicked.

Proverbs 10:4 He becomes poor that deals with a slack hand. But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
Original for 'makes rich' is 'gains wealth', 'gains riches')..(Matthew 7:12-14..(*)
Proverbs 10:9 He that walks uprightly walks surely, but he that perverts his ways shall be known.
Mark 4:22.
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife.(hatred makes the worst of everything), but love covers sin.
What does 'love covers sin' mean?
Proverbs 10:18 He that hides hatred with lying lips and he that utters.a.slander, is a fool.

Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words there wants.(lacks).not sin. But he that refrains his lips is wise.

Proverbs 10:20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver. The heart of the wicked is little worth.

Proverbs 10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many. But fools die for want of wisdom.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich and he adds no sorrow with it..(*)

Proverbs 10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief.(only a fool thinks hurtful pranks are fun; a fool because he is unaware that he will reap what he has sown), but a man of understanding.(original for word 'understanding' is 'discernment', that is he knows what's right and wrong, what's of love and what isn't).has wisdom.

Proverbs 10:24 The fear of the wicked comes upon him.(he will reap and sow, somehow, someway, someday; but why?, but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
It simply means the righteous are in the framework of a high consciousness mind where all good comes easily:.Matthew 11:29,30; John 10:10.
Proverbs 10:25 As the whirlwind passes, so is the wicked.(who are the wicked?).no more, but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
"Everlasting foundation".is what?
Proverbs 10:30 The righteous shall never be removed. But the wicked shall not inhabit the Earth..(*)

Proverbs 10:31 The mouth of the just brings forth wisdom, but the froward tongue.(watch your tongue; think before you speak; get good at conversation).shall be cut out.

Proverbs 10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked speaks frowardness.

Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord but a just weight is his delight..(honesty)

Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble.(Proverbs 1:10-14).and the wicked comes in his stead.

Proverbs 11:12 He that is void of wisdom despises.(original also implies 'hold in contempt', 'hold as insignificant', 'to despise', 'show despite toward').his neighbour, but a man of understanding holds his peace.

Proverbs 11:13 A talebearer reveals secrets, but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.

Proverbs 11:14 Where no counsel is, the people fall, but in the multitude.of.counselors there is safety.
At least get the advice of others, whether or not you decide to follow it:.Proverbs 24:6;.12:15;.15:22; 1:8.
Proverbs 11:15 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it, and he that hates.(or, is detested by it).suretyship is sure.
If he stays away from being surety for another (example cosigning for a loan) he will be safe as nothing in this regard can come back on him and bite him.
Proverbs 11:16 A gracious.(word 'gracious' in the original, means 'to be accepted by and favorable to all').woman retains honour. And strong.(word 'strong' here in original is 'those who cause others to be afraid'; control by fear).men retain riches.

Proverbs 11:17 The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he that is cruel troubles his own flesh.
His children and kindred are troubled, why?
Proverbs 11:18 The wicked works a deceitful work, but to him that sows righteousness shall be a sure reward.

Proverbs 11:19 As righteousness tends to life, so he that pursues evil.(how one can unknowingly pursue evil?.Proverbs 14:12).pursues it to his own death.

Proverbs 11:20 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

Proverbs 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished.(Proverbs 16:5), but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Proverbs 11:22 As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair.(original is 'beautiful').woman which is without discretion.

Proverbs 11:24 There is that scatters and yet increases and there is that withholds more than is meet.(means 'fitting' and 'proper').but it tends to poverty.
Is out of balance regarding giving and receiving and thus accumulates excesses for the self. In other words, greedy.
Proverbs 11:25 The liberal.(generous).soul shall be made fat.(original means 'things in life will open to him').and he that waters shall be watered also himself.
Ecclesiastes 11:1,2.
Proverbs 11:26 He that withholds corn, the people shall curse him, but blessing shall be upon the head of him that sells it.

Proverbs 11:27 He that diligently seeks good procures favour, but he that seeks mischief, it shall come unto him.
Closer to the original:.'He that early seeks good.(always firstly look for the good in things of life), finds it, but he that resorts to bad ways, it comes to him'..(why?)
Proverbs 11:28 He that trusts in his riches shall fall, but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
Matthew 6:20,21.
Proverbs 11:29 He that troubles his own house.(how?).shall inherit the wind. And the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and he that wins souls is wise.

Proverbs 11:31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the Earth.(*); much more the wicked and the sinner.
