-What is the one
thing men, women & children are seldom taught to get that would help
them greatly in life?
Wisdom increases as depth
of love grows. How can God give you anything that's not of love? for God
is only love:.1John
4:6-8,11,16. Wisdom is one of love's attributes:.James
1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all
men liberally and upbraids not and it shall be given him." Ecclesiastes
8:1 "Who is as the wise man? and who knows the interpretation of a
thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face to shine and the boldness of his face
shall be changed."
Christ has all wisdom and
if Christ is in you, well
then?
See how wisdom works in people.
Use books, etc. to 'walk with the wise'
and you too will become wiser. Always be educating
yourself; always be out to learn. These books may help:.The
compositions of La Fontaine, in French and those of Mr. Gay, in English,
are very valuable.
The oldest collection of
fables.extant
are of Indian origin and are preserved in the Sanskrit,
from which they have been translated into different languages, both Asiatic
and European, under various titles. The collection is called Hitopadesa
and the author Veshnoo Sarma, but they are known in Europe by The Tales
and Fables of Bidpay or 'Pilpay' ??, an ancient Indian Philosopher.
Of this collection Sir William Jones takes the following notice, the fables
of Veshnoo Sarma, whom we ridiculously call Pilpay, are the most beautiful,
if not the most ancient, collection of moral
fables in the world. Their original title Hitopadesa means amicable
instruction.
Wisdom is the ability
to shape one's character by decisions
before
circumstances occur to do it. Wisdom
is knowing how to act properly
in every particular.situation:.Ecclesiastes
7:12 "For wisdom is a defence and money is a defence, but the excellency
of knowledge is, that wisdom gives life to them that have it."
Proverbs
4:7 "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and with all
your getting get understanding." Proverbs
16:16 "How much better is it to
get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen
than silver!"
Wisdom includes the ability
to project one's present or contemplated
course of action so as to see the possible future result(s).
Wisdom includes intuition and clairvoyance.
Wisdom is insight.."One
cannot have wisdom without living
life."....Dorothy
McCall. Wisdom involves commonsense
and good judgment.."It
is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate
things."....Henry
David Thoreau. "One must keep one's character.
Earn a character first if you can and if you can't, then assume one."....Mark
Twain.
Are you happy?.Proverbs
3:13-19 "Happy is the man that finds wisdom and the man that gets comprehension.
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver and
the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies and all
the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days
is in her right hand and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are
ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life
to them that lay hold upon her and happy is every one that retains her.
The Lord by wisdom has founded the Earth; by understanding has he established
the heavens."
Projecting oneself mentally
into the results of that which is being considered and/or
observed
in lives of others, saves many heartaches.
Wisdom is sensing
what may be good or not so good.
Wisdom involves living
in such a way as to not cause harm in any way or pain to others.
Tactful
people use wisdom, example:.Proverbs
25:17.
There is a wisdom of the
Creator that's a mystery to many, because from the ego level one just can't
comprehend it, as it's
foolishness.(1Corinthians
1:18).to
him:.1Corinthians
2:7 "But we speak the wisdom
of God in a mystery, even the
hidden, which God ordained before the
world unto our glory."
Wisdom is that knowledge,
which when practiced, nurtures
relationships.
In olden times wise people
were sought for to administer societies:.Genesis
41:33-44; Exodus 18:21; Deuteronomy
1:13; 16:18. These
proverbs also are helpful for leaders.
Thinking before going to
bed on experiences of the day helps to gain wisdom. Wisdom involves pondering
circumstances with no emotion attached. Just look at them. That's enough.
The soul knows what to do. Just have your attention on them. Don't take
effort to get into them. Just light attention.
Wisdom comes when experience
is viewed in the light of philosophy.
All.life
is for learning. But if we compromise high
standards achieved, not
listening to life, we are
set
up for more lessons, because one is then heading backward into his
ego
conditioned ways.
Talk to others about things:.Proverbs
11:14. With some people you will have to dig their wisdom out:.Proverbs
20:5.
Older people and those who
care.(not
selfish), are often those from which
the best advice comes, but it is amazing how much wisdom can come from
even an eight year old who is sincere.
Get wisdom! It is one of
the most valuable assets anyone could possibly possess. Speaking metaphorically,
the writer of Proverbs
and Ecclesiastes,
Solomon,
urges us all to get wisdom:.Proverbs
4:5-10 "Get wisdom, get understanding. Forget it not; neither.(allow
it to).decline
from the words of your mouth.
Forsake her not and she shall preserve you. Love her and she shall keep
you. Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all your
getting get understanding. Exalt her and she shall promote you. She shall
bring you to honour.(but
the lack of it brings negativity; example 1,
2),
when you do embrace her. She shall give to your head an ornament of grace.
A crown of glory shall she deliver to you. Hear, O my son and receive my
sayings and the years of your life shall be many."
So then, from where comes
wisdom?.Ephesians
3:10 "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in
heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.".A
little clearer
redone from the original.
The Creator gives wisdom
to anyone,.if.they
ask for it. If you ask for it, you are desirous of having it:.James
1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all
men liberally.(generously).and
upbraids.(scolds,
reproves,
upbraids;
won't think 'why didn't he ask before as it could have kept him out of
so much trouble?').not
and it is given to him." Isaiah 50:4
"The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know
how to speak a word in season to him that is weary..." Ephesians
1:17
Just how does the
Creator impart wisdom to us? Through
inspiration!
Our Creator even
gave
it to the chief of sinners, so we should be no problem:.1Timothy
1:15.
If we become different, life
for us changes, applied knowledge being the key; decisions
being the impetus.
No change and nothing else
changes.
With wisdom comes insight
and intuition. Wisdom includes
the ability to have vision, that is, to project one's present or contemplated
course of action so as to see the future result; a result that you can
analyze.
Pain
of whatever kind in life, be it physical and/or psychological:.Proverbs
29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish.(why?.Proverbs
1:22). But he that keeps the law.(of
love; a law, because it always works properly if you work it correctly
and that is, out of a heart of sincere concern),
happy is he." Proverbs 19:16;
Romans
13:10 "Love works no ill to his neighbour; therefore love is the fulfilling
of the law."
Wisdom comes as
a result of accepting Emmanuel's nature
of love into your heart. Why? Because with love comes wisdom. Wisdom
is one of the attributes
of love.
From here one sees the hidden
path:.Job
28:7,28. From here one can cope
with the vicissitudes
of life that daily accost
us.
The demons'
jobs involve taking you backward and they do this by getting you to take
one step at a time in that direction. If there is a hint in your mind not
to do something, do not do it. Example: it may seem like it would be exciting
and new to try 'fringy' things out with this new crowd you met, but you
are not sure if you should. But,
you think all seems ok at
this point. So you try. And one negative thing happens that causes you
to pause mentally, but you carry on. Later you think that overall it was
ok and next time the opportunity comes, you go again. And so it goes. The
'warnings'
are bypassed. And on it continues, till you are too far in and disaster
is necessary to wake you up. You have to be at least aware enough to watch
your ass in life. But perhaps even that does not work. You then get
'hardened', resentful and bitter.
You are on the way the demons planned for you to go. All life is for learning.
The best way to learn is from history, the experiences of others, who have
already paid the price in heartache. Wisdom is not having to repeat their
errors.
There are two keys to wisdom.
One is here and the other
is.
The books of.Proverbs.and.Ecclesiastes.were
written by the wisest man who ever lived. He was given a special gift of
wisdom
from God, for us, so that we could learn also to become wise:.Romans
15:4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for
our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might
have hope."
Note especially the verses
in the.Book
of Proverbs.(1Kings
4:32), probably the greatest psychology
book ever written and.Ecclesiastes,
both written by the wisest man who ever lived up to his time, Solomon.(1Kings
4:29-31), David's
son..Every.page
of these books contain great gems of wisdom,.not
just.the
scriptures with the word 'wisdom' in them that occur there; such as this
allegory
on wisdom in
the eighth chapter
of Proverbs.
It is important to be wise:.Psalms
39:4 "Lord, make me to know mine end and the measure of my days, what
it is; that I may know how frail I am.".Proverbs
2:11; 10:21; 12:8,23;
14:23;
15:7....
The.Bible.says
wisdom comes from the Great Ever Living Creator of all things.(Ephesians
1:17;
Colossians 1:3).and
that this being gives it liberally to any and all who ask for it:.James
1:5. Try it! Then note if you are increasing in wisdom and you'll know
the Infinite One does indeed exist and that you were important enough.(Psalms
23:5).to
Him to have your desire, in this case, for wisdom, fulfilled.
As it says in Ephesians
1:18; then your understanding will be enlightened, when you have light
in your life and you can then see easier where to go and you will
fathom
insights that were hitherto
unfamiliar to you, verses 18,19.
The wisdom that comes from
God brings to mind considerations revolving around projections that may
not normally come into one's mind.

Wisdom involves that particular
personality quality one decides to have which will keep him from getting
into situations where he would need to use it.
Wisdom involves having such
an overview of circumstances that you have determination to stop the negative
movement within the circle of life. That is, having a big enough picture
of life to take those things considered disgusting or unacceptable, to
take the
malice
and disrespect that may be thrown at you and not pass these things beyond
you.
