The law.(any
part of it).produced
death because it was a 'carnal'
law that had only to do with the physical, the flesh:.Romans
7:9-13.
Christ abolished death.(2Timothy
1:10).by
getting rid of the law.(again,
Ephesians
2:15).and
giving life:.John
10:10; 20:31; Romans
5:10; 6:4; 8:2,6.(carnally/fleshly
minded refers to the OT law, verse 2);
John
17:3; Galatians 2:19-21.
In Him you are dead to the
law:.Romans
7:4; Colossians 3:3.
Sin will control you if you
are into keeping the commandments to be at a right stead
with the Creator.(Romans
6:14), thus kicking out of the
way, Emmanuel the Christ and His gift of righteousness.(Romans
5:17,18).to
you, a righteousness given simply by accepting it, a righteousness one
cannot earn by works of being good to gain it, a righteousness that once
realized, fills one with a
new heart, one of wanting to go out and do good works, works of love
for others.
Emmanuel has the
authority
to judge us as righteous so that we can have eternal life:.John
5:26,27.
If in Him is all the fullness.(Colossians
2:9,10), why would one spend time
on being 'righteous' by using that which He has abolished?
Righteousness comes by Emmanuel
Christ, not the law which many churches continue to advocate:.Philippians
1:11. Paul wanted the Philippians conduct to be that of the gospel
of Christ, not any part of the Mosaic Law.
Even David
in the Old Testament saw this higher form of righteousness, the righteousness
of forgiveness.(Psalms
31:5,6).and
that it was Creator's righteousness being imputed
to him that made him righteous:.Psalms
31:1; 32:1,2;
Romans
8:4.(walking
not after the
flesh means 'not trying to get yourself right with God by a lot of
physical do's and don'ts; it has to be this because we
have just seen that sin no longer counts with God).
Righteousness
has a magic to it in that, you are then good and perfect.
It's not that righteousness
is what you work to attain.(Romans
3:28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without
the deeds of the law"),
thinking that it will do something for you, like then you
would be a better individual and the Creator would be then pleased with
you.
You see, that is all focused on you. It's the unfolding of what
is Christ in you because you are in
alignment with higher consciousness principles that enlightens and
enlivens your life and provides
the channel for a continuous relationship with the invisible intelligent
energy we call the Father.
It's simply a discovery:.Colossians
1:27 "...the riches of the glory of this mystery...which is Christ
in you, the hope of glory."
A discovery can tend toward making one a
saint or a drudge.
So, what does this 'Christ in you' do for you?.Ephesians
2:10.
Romans
4:6,14,15 shows that the rules to regulate, the rituals,
the offerings, the penalties and sacrifices under the
old
covenant.were
not designed for a spiritual
relationship with God:.Hebrews
7:16 "Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after
the power of an endless life."
These things were then implemented
by God in the Mosaic Law, but God didn't even
care much for them:.Hebrews
10:6; Psalms 40:6-8. And the
people felt the same way:.Deuteronomy
5:29; Jeremiah 44:16,17.
Why?.Hebrews
10:3,4.
There were various sacrifices
and many offerings including burnt offerings which were physical things
necessitated
toward God, because they had no
heart for a spiritual relationship with God at that time. These are
shown just below the following scriptures.
There were sacrifices before
the Mosaic Law, but not as any kind of a requirement:.Jeremiah
7:22.
At least these physical things
kept their minds somewhat
on God, but they didn't fully comprehend
God, having only a shallow
non spiritual understanding of Him.
It was not the time for it
until Christ in the New Testament:
Ephesians
5:2 "And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself
for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor."
Hebrews
9:19-28 "For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people
according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water
and scarlet wool and hyssop and sprinkled both the book and all the people,
Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God has enjoined unto
you. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels
of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood
and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary
that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these,
but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For
Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the
figures of the true, but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence
of God for us. Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high
priest entered into the holy place every year with blood of others.(JFB
Commentary:."not
his own as Christ did");
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world,
but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by
the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins
of many and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time
without sin unto salvation."
Hebrews
10:1 "For the law having a shadow of good things to come and not the
very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered
year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect."
Hebrews
10:11,12 "And every priest stands daily ministering and offering often
times the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this man,
after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right
hand of God."
Hebrews
13:11-13 "For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into
the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Wherefore Emmanuel also, that he might sanctify the people with his own
blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without
the camp, bearing his reproach."
Revelation
5:6 "And I beheld and lo,
in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the
elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven
eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the Earth."
There were offerings before
they became mandatory
by the Mosaic Law:.Genesis
4:3.
And many such offerings.(offerings
as compared with sacrifices).later
as were part of the Mosaic Law that you can look up in.Bible

David,
1000 years.(approximately).before
Emmanuel talked about God's righteousness of belief because of the high
consciousness of Christ
in him, the righteousness enabling sin
to no longer count:.Psalms
32:2.
David had an sincere deep
and emotional relationship with God, understanding God's incredible mercy
and forgiveness:.Psalms
32:5.
David understood that once
the Great Infinite One's nature is in one's heart, all the things under
the old covenant that one was supposed to do, were not then required:.Psalms
40:6-8,10.
David knew He was righteous
even though he still was a sinner.(like
us):.Psalms
40:12.
Truly a higher form of righteousness:.Romans
3:21; 8:3;
John
1:17; Galatians 3:24-26.
The purpose of the law was
to evidence a need for a
spiritual relationship with God in one's life.
Abraham's life was on the
spiritual road:.Genesis
17:1,2. His name originally was Abram.(Genesis
11:31; 17:1-8),
who lived
circa.B.C.E.
2000-1900. Abraham's father was Terah:.Genesis
11:26. After Abraham came these ones.
Abraham's story begins in
Genesis
11:26 and runs to the end of the book of
Genesis.
The Creator's expression
in this case became the individual Abraham. The Creator chooses how and
what to do and who He wants in carrying out His plan on Earth:.Isaiah
64:8; Jeremiah 18:6; Lamentations
4:2; Romans 9:21.
The Creator is the
master potter and as such designs circumstances as He wishes:.Isaiah
64:8 "But now, O Lord, you are our father. We are the clay and you
our potter and we all are the work of your hand.".Deuteronomy
8:16.
Great promises were made
by the Creator to Abraham, passed down to his son Isaac and then grandson
Jacob and on down
to us through Christ. But along that way, God's design can leave a
few questions about trusting Him, such as in the case of Esau
and his brother Jacob. God knows what He's doing:.Romans
9:21 "Has not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make
one vessel unto honour and another unto dishonour?"
Abraham was declared as
the
father of the faithful.(Galatians
3:7).and
declared by our Creator as righteous and the friend of the Creator.(James
2:23).in
spite of some horrible things he did,
as you will see on the next page.
Abraham.(circa.B.C.E.
1900; contemporary
with Chedorlaomer the king of Elam:.Genesis
14:1).however
was a kind, peaceful and generous man who did trust the Creator, but he,
like all of us, got
off track from time to time.
Creator called him out of
the area now known as modern Iraq.(Ur
of the Chaldees):.Nehemiah
9:7 "You are the Lord the God, who did choose Abram.(means
'exalted father').and
brought him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees and gave him the name of
Abraham.('father
of
a multitude')."
Hebrews
6:13,14 "For when God made promise.(what
promise?.Exodus
2:24).to
Abraham.(name
changed from Abram to Abraham:.Genesis
17:5), because he could swear by
no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you
and multiplying I will multiply you." Genesis
17:2-7 "And I will make my covenant between me and you and will multiply
you exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face and God talked with him, saying,
As for me, behold, my covenant is with you and you shall be a father of
many nations. Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your
name shall be Abraham, for a father of many nations have I made you. And
I will make you exceeding fruitful and I will make nations of you and kings
shall come out of you. And I will establish my covenant between me and
you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant,
to be a God unto you and to your seed after you." Genesis
18:18 "Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation
and all the nations of the Earth shall be blessed in him?"
Abraham
in archaeology.... Abraham
and Isaac his son.
There is reason why the hundreds
of millions of Abraham's descendents today enjoy prosperity, unprecedented
in all history. God has His people and has choosen who will prosper and
who won't, as God did beginning with the
two brothers born from parents Isaac and Rebekah.
Creator gives Abraham and
his children a lot of real estate and he chooses to share it with his nephew
to maintain the peace. Here
is that story.
