Ephesians 5:1 Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children; 

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering.(an offering is a gift, as the original also shows).and a sacrifice.(to us, it was a gift and to Christ's Father and to Christ regarding His Father, it was a sacrifice:.Hebrews 12:2; Matthew 26:39; Hebrews 12:2; John 17:5: 3:16,17; Isaiah 52:14).to God for a sweet smelling savor.

Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, uncleanness and covetousness, let it not be once.(word 'once' not in original).named among you as it's not fitting for a saint to be this way;

Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness nor foolish talking.(learn about conversation).nor jesting.(humor, but in a bad sense; humor is good).which are not convenient, but rather giving of thanks.

Ephesians 5:5 For this you know that no whoremonger nor unclean individual, nor covetous man who is an idolater has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

No place for selfish people. It's a kingdom of love.

Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things comes the wrath of.(Romans 9:22).God upon the children of disobedience.

That is why this thing called evil exists..Note that because you have allowed yourself to be deceived, your life goes to garbage and that disappoints good kids. Do you care or not?

To."let no man deceive you", one must be alert enough to ask themselves questions about what others, such as so-called authorities, want you to do and be like, such as 'trust us, the vaccine is safe', which none of them EVER have been. And, 'trust us, taxes you pay contribute to the running of society', which is another lie swallowed by the unquestioning and unresearching masses.

Ephesians 5:7 Be not you therefore partakers with them.

2Corinthians 6:14.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord. Walk as children of light..(how?)

Meaning of the word 'Lord'.

Ephesians 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is all goodness and righteousness and truth.

Ephesians 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Acts 17:11.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.(stay away from works of darkness or, love the sinner but not the sins:.2Corinthians 6:14; don't allow your ego to govern your existence and your decisions as it's the ego, one's low consciousness, that is easily influenced by the invisible beings of the dark side:.Revelation 12:9; 1Peter 5:8; Ephesians 6:16:.Isaiah 5:20; how not to have fellowship with the works of darkness), but rather reprove them.(original word 'reprove' is to 'fish them out', that is, to see why they are the way they are, this keeps your moral compass set properly so you learn not to be as they have set themselves to be; word 'them' is not in the original).

Original for word 'reprove' also gives 'convince', 'see where it is faulty', 'tell the fault to', to who? to God. Be of the mind to see where others may be wrong and that is seeing where they are of low consciousness, so you learn from their errors. It's like a plant, it can't bear decent 'fruit' without proper and enough light and neither can man remaining in spiritual darkness.

Be careful getting after people for not being in the light, that is, those who do wrong things, why?.John 7:7; 15:19; Matthew 13:30, Know that those who are on the evil side have, because of the life they have lived, found no answers to it and so probably gave themselves over to life as as they saw it to be, which in time encrusted their good hearts.(1Timothy 4:2 "...having their conscience seared with a hot iron"), so much so, they have become severed from their soul's connection with the 'big' Soul.

Ephesians 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

But it's ok to know about evil because it is a contrast to the good. 
Barnes Notes: The cheek of modesty and virtue would be suffused with shame at the very mention of what is done by the worshippers of idols and the same is true of what is done by multitudes in Christian lands, who are not worshippers of idols. The very naming of those abominations often produces improper associations in the mind, risking the creationof polluting images in the imagination. Alluding to the crime is one thing. Detailed description that arouses evil in another's mind should be avoided. Paul did not describe these vices, he denounced them. He did not dwell upon them long enough for the imagination to find employment and to corrupt the soul. He mentioned the vice and then he mentioned the wrath of God. He alluded to the sin and then spoke of exclusion from the higher consciousness realm:.1Corinthians 6:18-20. 

Their abominations are usually performed far from the public gaze.

Like today, these ancients were evil:.Romans 1:24-32. Learn from the evils of others, so you can see how not to be in life.

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light. For whatsoever does make manifest is light.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he said, Awake you that sleeps.(asleep to what?).and arise from the dead.(being asleep at the ego level of life is here equated to being as good as dead).and Christ will give you light.

Ephesians 5:15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming.(make good use of your time).the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be you not unwise, but comprehend.(original 'bring together in your mind').what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine.(Habakkuk 2:15), wherein is excess, but be filled.(word "filled" can just as easily mean 'fulfilled').with the Spirit. 

Ephesians 5:19.Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.(songs with words that put one's attention on the things of Creator-God), singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for.all.things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Emmanuel the Christ;

What does."in the name" mean?

Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another.(cooperation).in the fear of God.

Learn from each other. A better translation of the word fear would be awareness of and respect toward the greatness of God..'In the fear of God' here means that whichever one of you, the woman or the man, in the matter.at hand, is closest to the high consciousness.benchmark, then that would apply, that is, the one making peace would be that one.

Ephesians 5:22.Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Paul here brings out the importance of not being like the evil women of old.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church and he is the saviour.(original Greek is 'deliverer', 'preserver').of the body.

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Doesn't say that a man is to control and bend a woman to his will, but rather, that being a unit, they have the ability to forge ahead spiritually when they work together, for example, a car has many parts that have been designed to functon together; if you put the gear selector in Drive and the selector said no, I'm not going forward, I'm going backward and at other times I'm not moving at all, well then, what good is the whole machine? it's useless as a unit; each part is subject to the working of all the other parts if its function is to be as intended by its design.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it;

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it.(cleanse the church).with the washing of water by the word.

Water holds the light of the Holy Spirit. Below the Plank scale, water has memory.

How has the church.(what is the church?) not been cleansed? The truth has been kept from them by the satanic evil cabal, who don't want you to know any good and true things:.2Timothy 1:9. That's why they kept the other books of the Bible from you.

Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself.(come to know what 'Christ' is).a glorious church.(what is the church?), not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Ephesians 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.

Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church.(how?).

Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.

Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife and they two shall be one flesh.

Ephesians 5:32 This is a great mystery. But I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself. And the wife see that she reverence her husband.
