About Habakkuk

Habakkuk 1:1 The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.

Habakkuk 1:2-4 O God, how long shall I cry and you will not hear, even cry out unto you of violence and you will not save? Why do you show me iniquity and cause me to behold grievance? Spoiling and violence are before me and there are those that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked and judgment does never go forth, for the wicked does compass about the righteous, therefore wrong judgment proceeds.
Ecclesiastes 5:8.
Habakkuk 1:5-11 Behold you among the heathen and regard and wonder marvelously, for I will work a work in your days, which you will not believe, though it be told you. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful. Their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards and are more fierce than the evening wolves and their horsemen shall spread themselves and their horsemen shall come from far. They shall fly as the eagle that hastes to eat. They shall come all for violence. Their faces shall sup up as the east wind and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. And they shall scoff at the kings and the princes shall be a scorn unto them. They shall deride every strong hold, for they shall heap dust and take it. Then shall his mind change and he shall pass over and offend, imputing this his power unto his God.

Habakkuk 1:12 Are you not from everlasting my God, mine Holy One? We shall not die. O God, you have ordained them.(the 'them' are, verses 5-11 above).for judgment and, O mighty God, you have established them for correction.(how?.Jeremiah 6:19).

Habakkuk 1:13 You.(meaning the Creator).are of purer eyes than to behold evil and can not look on iniquity. Wherefore look you.(or, 'why do you then look').upon them that deal treacherously and hold your tongue when the wicked devours the man that is more righteous than he?
It's a question to the Creator, the answer to which is that our Creator controls all, even the evil.(controls even the evil, by using this being, called the devil and some humans; example Nebuchadnezzar:.Jeremiah 27:1,5-18). The Creator creates evil, uses evil, causes evil, in the sense He is responsible for it, but all for ultimate good reasons, such as awakening humanity to opposite ways of good so man can be blessed.(*), for God never blesses a person steeped in his own evil ways, at least, not for long (Joshua 24:20) because even though these things seem out of character for our Creator who is all loving, they are ultimately working out His overall plan of good for us and all, as everything is continuing in harmony and into good purpose:.Romans 8:28. (?)
Habakkuk 1:14-17 And makes men.(*).as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them? They take up all of the fishes with the angle, they catch them in their net and gather them in their drag, therefore they rejoice and are glad. Therefore they sacrifice unto their net and burn incense unto their drag, because by them their portion is fat and their meat plenteous. Shall they therefore empty their net and not spare continually to slay the nations?
If they have had success overtaking others, why would they then stop doing it?
Habakkuk 2:1-3 I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And God answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that read it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him, but the just shall live by his faith.(that is, by one's own faith:.Romans 1:17).

Habakkuk 2:5 Yea also, because he transgresses by wine.(*), he is a proud man, neither keeps at home, who enlarges his desire as hell and is as death and cannot be satisfied, but gathers unto him all nations and heaps unto him all people.
No contentment, just must go out and plague others with the personality and/or policies he believes is the most beneficial thing others could ever be exposed to.
Habakkuk 2:6 Shall not all these take up a parable against him and a taunting proverb against him and say, Woe to him that increases that which is not his! how long? and to him that lades himself with thick clay!
Habakkuk 2:6 Shall not all these take up a parable against him and a taunting.proverb against him and say, Woe to him that increases that which is not his.(by stealing and/or by usury)! How long?.(how long before he reaps what he has sown?).and to him that lades himself with thick clay!.(covers himself up with personality false fronts, trying to hide intentions of evil from others by secrecy; Matthew Poole's Commentary: "Woe to him that is a burden to others, while he burdens himself with amassed treasures gathered by extortion and grievous, unjust and unnecessary taxes." (see cafr1.com)
Habakkuk 2:7 Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite you and awake.(when others wake up to what you have been doing).that shall vex you and you shall be for booties.(up for abuse).unto them?

Habakkuk 2:8 Because you have spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil you.(one reaps what he sows).because of men's blood and for the violence.(word 'violence' here also includes 'injustice').of the land, of the city and of all that dwell therein.

Habakkuk 2:9,10 Woe to him that covets an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil.(he or she trusts in the protection of money and power). You have consulted shame to your house by cutting off many people and have sinned against your soul.
JPS Translation:."Woe to him that gains evil gains for his house.(what he is like affecs all close to him), that he may set his nest on high.(people of lower consciousness and rather than move into a better consciousness, prefer to lord it over others, that he may be delivered from the power of evil."

Examples:.Ezekiel 28:2; Jeremiah 22:13; 49:16.

Habakkuk 2:9,10 Woe to him that covets an evil covetousness to his house.(affecting all in his house; also:.Proverbs 11:17,29; 15:27;.Matthew Henry's Commentary:.covetousness brings turmoil and uneasiness into a family; he who is greedy of gain troubles his own house), that he may set his nest on high.(wants to be great anyway he can selfishly attain that status), that he may be delivered from the power of evil.(does evil, but doesn't want evil to come to him, even if others suffer:.Psalms 10:7-10; 44:21; 49:11; Amos 5:11,12)..You have consulted shame to your house.(lived in a way that brought shame; Matthew Poole's Commentary: that which is gotten by fraud and injustice will bring poverty and ruin upon a family).by cutting off many people and have sinned against your soul.

All except bad ass parents want their children to be blessed in life:.Job:5:25.

Habakkuk 2:11 For the stone shall cry out of the wall and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
Things work unbeknownst to bring people to themselves, that is, to awaken them:.Luke 19:40. Things that they would not have thought affecting them to bring them to come to know God Almighty:.Jeremiah 31:34 "...for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says God, for I have forgiven their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more."
Notice it says 'I have' not 'I will'.
Habakkuk 2:12 Woe to him that builds a town with blood and establishes a city by iniquity!
It's sad that the cabal civilization we have been in has been built on iniquity and blood, ever since the beginning. No wonder it's all gotten worse, that is, until now because now it's over, it's finished:.John 17:4. You see more and more hopeful signs that it is over.
Habakkuk 2:13 Behold, is it not of God that the people shall labor in the very fire and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
The Creator has it set up that things not built on the foundation of high consciousness come to nothing. Why? next verse, 14; God's purpose was not to make it hard on humanity, but to be a comfort:.John 14:18.
Habakkuk 2:14 For the Earth shall be filled.(no more suppression of truth once the corrupt mainstream media is gone).with the knowledge of the glory of God.(the glory of God is His presence, His consciousness of love in people), as the waters cover the sea.(Isaiah 11:9).
This comes about because the covering over the minds of people has been taken away. How?.2Corinthians 3:14,16.
And, what will life then be like?.Revelation 21:4.
Habakkuk 2:15 Woe unto him that gives his neighbour drink, that puts his bottle to him and makes him drunken also, that he or she may look on their nakedness!
2Corinthians 4:2; 2Timothy 3:6.
Habakkuk 2:16 You art filled with shame for glory. Drink you also and let your foreskin be uncovered. The cup of God's right hand shall be turned unto you and shameful spewing shall be on your glory.

Habakkuk 2:17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover you and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood and for the violence of the land, of the city and of all that dwell therein.

Habakkuk 2:18 What profits the graven image that the maker thereof has graven? It's a molten image for teaching lies, that the maker of this work also trusts in to make more dumb idols (for dumb people)?
Original for 'dumb' is 'bind', that is, one who trusts that the way he or she sees things is right (Proverbs 14:12) is binding himself or herself to being unchangeable in perception, thus, if already in negativity, the negativity is perpetuated.
Habakkuk 2:19 Woe unto him that says to the wood.(Jeremiah 2:27), Awake and to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
People seem to want to give power to anything beyond them in lieu of God's power, even if it's something they make with their own hands:.Hosea 4:12.
Habakkuk 2:20 But God is in his holy temple. Let all the Earth keep silence.(original, 'hold your peace', 'hold your tongue'; that is, God is in control and well knows all goings on and all works out just fine eventually {*}; God's in charge; you keep silent.{Amos 5:13}, He makes the noise:.Psalms 50:3).before him.

Habakkuk 3:13 You went forth for the salvation of your people, even for salvation with your anointed. You wounded the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah..(?)

Habakkuk 3:18,19 Yet I will rejoice in God, I will joy in the God of my salvation. God is my strength and he will make my feet like hinds' feet and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
