-What is salvation?

Salvation is being saved from something negative that is present or possible. You need 'saving' if you're broke, brokenhearted, brokenminded and depressed, sick, etc. All are to see this salvation.

Salvation is then deliverance from danger and from the guilt and from the polluting power of evil.

Luke 2:30 "For mine eyes have seen your salvation,"
Luke 3:6 "And all flesh shall see the salvation of God."

Hebrews 2:3 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation..." Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Salvation encompasses being safe from enemies.
A.W. Pink says that salvation is fourfold; a being saved from the penalty, power, presence and most importantly, the pleasure of sin.

Salvation involves becoming new:.2Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new."

2Corinthians 6:2 "For he said, I have heard you in a time accepted and in the day of salvation have I succoured you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

Each individual needs awakening to the fact they were 'saved' before the foundation of the multiverse:.2Timothy 1:9. Awakening to that allows them to see the gift of eternal life they've always had, but in their sleep.(Romans 13:11; Ephesians 5:14), couldn't see:.2Peter 3:15 "...the longsuffering.(patience).of our Lord is salvation..."

Salvation encompasses transformation, that is, one transforms day by day from his ego led life to one of a much higher consciousness:.Ephesians 2:10.

In the patience of God, He has allowed a definite period of time for the part of His plan where minds would be opened to Him and awakened to spirituality. And as such, time came for the Gentiles:.Romans 9:21.

The Great Infinite One first opens your mind. Then you are guided into what you need to start in understanding toward a good overstanding. Everyone's journey is not the same. God is not interested in clones. How salvation works.

2Corinthians 6:2 ".....now is the accepted time, behold.(take notice).now is the day of salvation."
The time to enter the Kingdom of God began when Christ came.
Hebrews 3:7. Accept what God wants for you. Trust Him in processing of your salvation. Place yourself in His care by acknowledging that you now want Him involved in your life or better said, that you want involvement in His life.
The knowledge of salvation is important to being in the state of what the Bible calls being saved.

How long is salvation good for? Hebrews 6:17-20. Eternal life is just that, eternal!

And what if you just say 'to hell with it'?

-Should we give thanks for all things? The bad too?
Weird eh? Why would this.(1Thessalonians 5:18; Ephesians 5:20).be inspired by the Creator to be recorded? Well, guess who controls the evil too?

We can always be thankful for something, even if it is the trials that may now be going through our lives:.2Corinthians 4:17 "For our light affliction which is but for a moment works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." 1Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

What is there about the Creator's creation and plan not to like and be thankful for? Well, maybe mosquitos. One would think that Noah could have left those things out of the ark. He probably would have, so where then did they come from ?

Emmanuel was always thankful to the Father:.Matthew 11:25; John 11:41. The Creator-Father even allowed Emmanuel's crucifixion. There is magic in being thankful.

Not being thankful provides an open door for influence by the dark side. Happy Thanksgiving!

-Should we repent to God every time we sin?
Why? Ask yourself....why? What answer did you come up with?
If it was ....'so that I can always be right with God', then see 'Sin No Longer Counts' and repentance
If it was ....."cause I'm sorry I hurt myself and/or another", then see 'Love'.
Most spiritual persons have an idea of what repentance means. It means so much more than many of them have been taught it means.
-What does the Bible tell about gossip?
The gossip alone in most beauty shops and hair salons is enough to curl your hair. Women and gossip.

Talking about others is not gossip. Talking about those you love and care about, which should be everyone who lives, doesn't do any harm:.Romans 13:10. How will anyone you know learn from the good examples of others if you don't talk about their good? If you really love, you won't hurt anyone or anyone's reputation. Use the tongue with wisdom.

Gossip is malicious.undermining of someone whom you do not like and have a wicked heart to defame:.Psalms 50:19,20. This is what some of the ancient Pharisees, etc. were like in Emmanuel's time that led to his crucifixion.

Why refrain your tongue?.Refraining the tongue is a sign of maturity.

The Bible has much to say regarding what comes out of one's mouth:.Matthew 12:34; 1Timothy 5:13,14; Ephesians 4:27; Psalms 15:3; 41:6; 50:19,20; 55:21; Proverbs 4:24; 6:18,19; 10:20; 11:13; 12:20; 15:2,4,5,14; 16:27-30; 25:23; Ecclesiastes 10:11; 2Corinthians 12:20; Leviticus 19:16; Ezekiel 22:9.

Gossip comes from pride.(Psalms 101:5).which fuels man's inherent nature to be better than others by either 'lording it over' others or putting them down in some way, as compared to God's nature in us that has a compassionate, empathic, serving.(not servile), helpful, forgiving and loving nature:.Philippians 2:3-5; 1Thessalonians 5:13; Matthew 20:27; 23:11

-I checked in a concordance listing all the words in the Bible but did not find any word about Christmas and checked Easter, finding only one reference.
You are correct. The word Christmas does not occur in the Bible, nor Lent, nor Valentine's Day. And, Easter time with its Good Friday has its problems too, as you'll see on the following page when you click to go there at the continuing part of the answer  at the bottom here or use the link here, 'Good Friday'.

In the Old Testament some verses talk about the various customs regarding Christmas that were pagan in origin:.Jeremiah 10:3,4.

Should we keep it? Paul would. Today it's mostly a time like Thanksgiving Day, which is even a bigger holiday than Christmas in many countries including the United States and almost as big in Canada.

However, Paul also said, that in addition to giving offense to no one.(1Corinthians 10:32), as one grows along the pathway of the better way of higher consciousness living, allow yourself to leave behind all the 'kiddie' things, like the rabbits and eggs of Easter.(stupid pagan.fertility.rites; rabbits don't lay eggs).and the strange customs steeped in Mithraism of Christmas and the 'give you something from someone called Santa.(an anagram, switch the letters around and what do you get?).until the time comes for your disappointment of finding out it was all a lie.(John 8:44), those you trusted in got you to believe in lies. Nothing wrong with giving gifts. Nothing wrong with having fun, but base it on truth. Just avoid lying to your kids and avoid correcting other young kids who may still believe those lies. It's the parents' responsibility to tell the truth to their children.

Scholars figured that Emmanuel the physical one of the spiritual Christ, which was in him, was born in April at the ancient Passover time. About the birth of Emmanuel.

Paul says to lay off such stupid things of pagan physicality and head into the things of the spirit of the true God.

About the green tree many people bring into the house at Christmas:.2Chronicles 28:3,4; Jeremiah 10:1-5.

A nice story of the Candy Cane. And some of the beautiful Christmas songs to sing.

Christ's holy nature or presence, is not in any special day but in us, making us special:.1Peter 2:9;.Galatians 4:9,10 "But now, after that you have known God or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto you desire again to be in bondage? You observe days and months and times and years."
