Luke
2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree
from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should
be taxed.
Not
because they needed the money. It was a thing showing subservience,
showing that all were slaves to the satanic Roman Empire, which decided
then as it does today, that 'they lay down the rules' you the people are
to follow. In a God based society, it is the other way around, where it's
We
the People deciding what rules the people
want to be governed by and by whom all they
determine
to administer
them.
Luke
2:2,3 And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of
Syria. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
They
were all obedient
sheep, like so many today regarding
the covid con and paying of various
taxes.
Luke
2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth
into Judaea unto the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he
was of the house and lineage of David,
Luke
2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
Luke
2:6 And so it was that, while they were there the days were accomplished
that she should be delivered.
Luke
2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling
clothes and laid him in a manger
because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke
2:8-10 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the
field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo,
the angel of the Lord came upon them and the glory of the Lord shone round
about them and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear
not, for behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luke
2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour.(He
already was a savior and that before He was physically on the Earth. How
could this be.(2Timothy
1:9).and,
what's the import
of Christ being savior?.2Corinthians
3:16), which is Christ
the Lord.
Words
'Saviour' and 'Savior' mean same thing. American English is 'savior' and
the other is the England's English.
Luke
2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you You shall find the babe wrapped
in swaddling
clothes lying in a manger.
Luke
2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly
host praising God and saying,
Luke
2:14 Glory to God in the highest.(the
highest
what?) and on Earth peace, good will toward.(original
for 'toward' is 'in' or 'among').men.
Christ
was to bring, among other things, the
spiritual substance that produces higher quality consciousness in
people..(?)
Luke
2:15,16 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them
into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto
Bethlehem and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord has
made known unto us. And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph
and the babe lying in a manger.
Luke
2:17-20 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying
which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered
at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all
these things and pondered
them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising
God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto
them.
Luke
2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of
the child, his name was called Jesus,
which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
Luke
2:22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of
Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him
to the Lord.
Luke
2:23,24 As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens
the womb shall be called holy to the Lord.(Exodus
13:2). And to offer a sacrifice.(various
physical sacrifices were extant
until they were abolished
once Emmanuel's purpose was fulfilled:.John
17:4; Hebrews 10:1-10).according
to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves or
two young pigeons.
Luke
2:25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon
and the same man was just
and devout,
waiting for the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Ghost was upon him.
Comprised
with.Barnes
Notes: That is, waiting for the Messiah
who is called the consolation of Israel because he would give comfort to
them by his appearing. This term was often applied to the Messiah before
he actually appeared.
Luke
2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should
not see death before he had seen Christ.
Barnes
Notes:."In
what way this was done we are not informed. Sometimes a revelation was
made by a dream, at others by a voice.(*).and
at others by silent suggestion.(such
as, a strong knowing). All we know of this
is that it was by the Holy Ghost."
Luke
2:27-29 And he came by the Spirit.(the
spirit prompted him to go to the temple).into
the temple and when the parents brought in the child Emmanuel,
to do for him after the custom of the law.(verse
24; the Old Testament Mosaic Law was still in effect at this time; not
taken away yet), then took he Emmanuel up in his arms and
blessed God and said, Lord, now let your servant depart in peace, according
to your word.
Luke
2:30 For mine eyes have seen your salvation.
Acts
4:12.
Luke
2:31 Which you have prepared before the face of all people.
God
engineered Christ's coming so that all people could benefit:.1John
4:14.
Luke
2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of your people Israel.
Luke
2:35 Yea, a sword shall pierce through your own soul also that the
thoughts of many hearts may be revealed..(Hebrews
4:12)
Luke
2:36-38 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel,
of the tribe of Aser.(Anna
& her father Phanuel were characters in Old Testament times; their
story is related here by Luke
who wrote this book of Luke). She was of a great age and
had lived with a husband
seven years from her virginity.(or
as we would say today, she was with him for 7 years before he died, leaving
her a widow); And she was a widow of about fourscore and
four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings
and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise
unto the Lord and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in
Jerusalem.
Anna
was a holy woman who, from her extensive knowledge and deep experience
in divine things,
was capable
of instructing others:.1Corinthians
14:3. We find this holy widow proclaiming
Emmanuel's life and purpose to all who were open-minded
about
it in Jerusalem:.John
18:37. Anna had God's holy nature
before that nature was generally
given at the first day of what's called Pentecost,
in the New Testament era.
This was
true of others in the Old Testament as well. Meditation
with prayer brings into an individual the love of God, no
matter what age they may be in, the age of the Old
Testament or the age of the New
Testament.
Luke
2:39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of
the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.
Luke
2:40 And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom.
And the grace of God was upon him.
Luke
2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the
passover.
Luke
2:42-45 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem
after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as
they returned, the child Emmanuel
tarried behind in Jerusalem and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. But
they, supposing him to have been in the company.(with
some of the other folks in the group they went with), went
a day's journey, and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking
him.
Luke
2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the
temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking
them questions.
Luke
2:47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding.(original
is 'knowledge').and answers.
Luke
2:48-50 And when they saw him, they were amazed and his mother said
unto him, Son, why have you thus dealt with us? behold, your father and
I have sought you sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that you
sought me? wist you not.(or,
'were you not aware').that I
must be about my Father's business? And they didn't comprehend
the saying which he spake unto them.
Luke
2:51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth
and was subject unto them, but his mother kept all these sayings in her
heart.
Luke
2:52 And Emmanuel increased in wisdom
and stature.(He
grew up; matured).and
in
favor.(original
is 'grace' which means favor:
the Creator likes you and increasingly so).with
God.(He
developed a greater consciousness of His Father).and
man.
Perfection
does not forbid growth. Though He was perfect,
he learned people skills
as Paul also did and learned many other things:.Luke
2:46. All God creates is perfect when created:.Ecclesiastes
7:29. Can a perfect one still learn? Yes! Is a perfect one perfect
right from the get go. Yes! However in their physical life, they are learning
to bring forth perfection of the spirit within. Examples
as brought out by Charlie Ward at 9:00 minutes in. God used these ones
and He's using you too. We are here to exemplify
God, that's why you are here.
Consider Rahab
the prostitute. Consider Abraham.
Consider Moses, who was a
murderer and couldn't deal with his anxiety
and anger and who was
too timid to even
speak to others and also couldn't get his thoughts out clearly to speak
anyhow. Consider Noah (Genesis 9:20-25)
who was an alcoholic. And there was Job, who
doubted God several times. And don't forget about David
the womanizer and murderer. And there was
Peter who was embarassed to let others know he knew Emmanuel aka Jesus:.Matthew
26:69-75. The disciples were often weak and jealous of one another
{Luke 9:46} and even fell asleep
the night Emmanuel got arrested:.Matthew
26:40.
A Samaritan
woman couldn't keep a husband (she had 6 and now had a lover):.John
4:15-18.
Paul,
also a murderer who hated Christians, dragged them out of their houses
and had them stoned to death, etc. All these were far from perfect.
Yes, if you leave Christ out of the picture:.1Timothy
1:13.
So don't you
ever worry over your past bad things. There is nothing ever been done that
one can't easily change from once they ask God to repair their soul. gene
Decode explains.
He who knows
the hearts of all (Psalms 44:21),
loves all, but can be severe
toward those not responding to Him, because God wants us awakened to him:.Romans
10:11 "For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not
be ashamed."
