John, 18th Chapter

John 18:1 When Emmanuel had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered and his disciples.

John 18:2,3 And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place, for Emmanuel ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

John 18:4 Emmanuel therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him.(Emmanuel knew the Old Testament scriptures and came to see as His life carried on that he was the one those scriptures were referring to), went forth and said unto them, Whom seek you?

John 18:5,6 They answered him, Emmanuel of Nazareth. Emmanuel said unto them, I am he. As soon as he had said 'I am he' unto them, they went backward, tripped and fell on the ground..(the corrupt religious leaders who were out to get rid of Emmanuel figured He would lie His way out of it by denying who he was and were shocked that he didn't). And Judas.(John 13:18).whose betrayal of Emmanuel was to soon be evident, stood with them.

John 18:7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek you? And they said, Emmanuel of Nazareth.

John 18:8 Emmanuel answered, I have told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way;

John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which you gave me.(John 17:6).have I lost none.(*).

This verse and connecting, shows that God defends His elect.

The true God is who awakens each of us, using various ways:.Acts 17:30.

John 18:10 Then Simon Peter having a sword, drew it and smote the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

John 18:11 Then said Emmanuel unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath. The cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

Then he healed the ear of Malchus:.Luke 22:50,51.

John 18:12 Then the band and the captain and officers of those who called themselves Jews took Emmanuel and bound him, 

John 18:13 And led him away to Annas first, for he was father in law to Caiaphas which was the high priest that same year.

John 18:14 Now Caiaphas was he which gave counsel to these calling themselves Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

John 18:15 And Simon Peter followed Emmanuel and so did another disciple. That disciple was known unto the high priest and went in with Emmanuel into the palace of the high priest.

John 18:16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple which was known unto the high priest and spake unto her that kept the door and brought in Peter.

John 18:17 Then said the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Are not you also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.

John 18:18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals, for it was cold and they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them and warmed himself. 

John 18:19 The high priest then asked Emmanuel of his disciples and of his doctrine. 

John 18:20 Emmanuel answered him, I spake openly to the world. I even taught in the synagogue and in the temple where those of Judah always resort and in secret have I said nothing.(didn't have a secret agenda; told the truth openly).

John 18:21 Why ask you me? Ask them which heard me what I have said unto them. Behold, they know what I said.

John 18:22,23 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Emmanuel with the palm of his hand, saying, Answer the high priest.(he didn't like the answer that was already given)? Emmanuel said to this bully officer, If I have spoken evil.(anything untrue), bear witness of the evil.(tell me then, what was it?), but if well, why smite me?

John 18:24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

John 18:25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Are not you also one of his disciples? He denied it and said, I am not.

John 18:26,27 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, said, Did not I see you in the garden with him? Peter then denied again and immediately the cock crew.

John 18:28 Then led they Emmanuel from Caiaphas.(the high priest).unto the hall of judgment and it was early and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the passover.

John 18:29-35.Pilate then went out unto them and said, What accusation bring you against this man? They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor.(criminal), we would not have delivered him up unto you.(their attitude was 'what do you think we are, stupid, we know he's a criminal'). Then said Pilate unto them, Take you him and judge him according to your law. These phony Judeans who called themselves Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death.(showing that they wanted Emmanuel dead, no matter what); That the saying of Emmanuel might be fulfilled.(Matthew 20:17-19), which he spake, signifying what death he should die. Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again and called Emmanuel and said unto him, Are you the King of the Judeans? Emmanuel answered him, Say you this thing of yourself or did others tell it to you of me? Pilate answered, Am I a Judean? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you unto me.(Pilate assumed that these phony corrupt ones called 'Jews' were the same as those of the nation of Judah, called Judeans). What have you done?

John 18:36 Emmanuel answered, My kingdom is not of this world.(John 17:9). If my kingdom were of this world then would my servants fight.(note that fighting is a part of this world, a world of limited consciousness; it's one's consciousness that limits him or her, because the consciousness of the world comes out of the mass mind, unless one has found the way to a higher consciousness, the way into the timeline of the kingdom of God, physically to be with good humans on Earth, then, that same consciousness is the impetus that fights for peace and eradicates evil, as is now occurring; the kingdom of God is 'not of this world', that is, not any part of the satanic cabal's ways of evil; the kingdom will be done by God and that through good people, question is what can you do to make yourself ready?.Matthew 25:1-41).that I should not be delivered to these evil ones named Jews. But at this time.(the time Christ was on Earth with his disciples).my kingdom has nothing to do with this world.

Where was it? The above has information to make sure you're in it. principle is, inside first and the outside must conform. So, where's your thinking at? Higher consciousness or not?

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and he shall reign for ever and ever." Revelation 12:7 "And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels,"

John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Are you a king then? Emmanuel answered, You say that I am a king and you are right. To this end was I born and for this cause came I into the world.(*), that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.(Ephesians 4:21).

Who are the."everyone that is of the truth".and why didn't they know this before, unless it was kept from them? 1John 3:8.

How do we hear his voice?

A king is head of what's called a kingdom. What's a kingdom?

John 18:38-40 Pilate said unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto thse calling themselves Jews and said unto them, I find in him no fault at all. But you have a custom, that I should release unto you one at passover time. Will you therefore that I release unto you this one you call  King of the Judeans? Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
