Matthew 25:1-8.(a parable with lessons). Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes. Go out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.(to trim the wick of a lamp so it doesn't burn so much oil; it's a saying here showing how they were living their lives and that was to the full every day; no time concerns for other things that might become necessary in their future, only one's selfish immediate considerations; manage your life with an eye to your future is what it's saying:.Psalms 10:4). And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.(they realized they were behind spiritually, being the type of people who leave everything until they just have to, in order to 'get at it', to get done what should have been done; these are those who wait for circumstances to dictate something must be done and they are usually short on what they may need to do them, such as short or devoid of commonsense).

Matthew 25:9-12 But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you. But go you rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves.(we can't help you at this time, you'll have to see to those things by yourself). And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Barnes Notes.on 'I know you not':.You were not in the company of those who attended at the earlier marriage feast and are unknown to me. Applied to professing.Christians, who claim they are genuine.(Titus 1:16), their genuineness having only a profession of spirituality, but no real sincerity, no real effort to grow up into Christ:.Ephesians 4:15..
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
He came once, after His resurrection, came later in the hearts of those who wanted Him and is physically to come again. See also Kingdom of God.
Matthew 25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country who called his own servants and delivered unto them his goods.

Matthew 25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two and to another one, to every man according to his several ability and straightway took his journey.

Matthew 25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made other five talents.

Matthew 25:17 And likewise he that had received two he also gained another two.

Matthew 25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the Earth and hid his lord's money.

Matthew 25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and reckoned with them.

Matthew 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought the other five talents he had gained, saying Lord you delivered unto me five talents. Behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him Well done you good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter you into the joy of your lord.
What you can do to bring the joy of God that's waiting for you in the form of money. God knows your needs and desires for a better life for yourself, your family and friends.
Matthew 25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said lord you delivered unto me two talents. Behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him Well done good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things I will make you ruler over many things. Enter you into the joy of your lord.

Matthew 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said lord I knew.(shows what he truly but wrongly felt in his heart, unfairness from God).you that you are a hard man, reaping where you have not sown and gathering where you have not strawed.(in other words, those of a criminal mind).

Matthew 25:25 And I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the Earth. Lo, here you have that which is yours.

Matthew 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him You wicked and slothful servant you knew that I reap where I sowed not and gather where I have not strawed.
In other words, 'If you thought I was like that, why didn't you do better than just being afraid to lose what I gave you? I expected more back than what I gave you, so you were no value to me, as I could have just done the same and what good would that have done'? Like, what are you doing in life with the spiritual gifts God has given you? Anything?
Matthew 25:27 You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
Emmanuel is saying, 'You could have done the best from where you were in your mind'. Paul's example:.1Corinthians 15:10.
Matthew 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him and give it unto him which has ten talents.

Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that has.(you have it first in your mind, your heart, your attitude).shall be given.(comes into the physical).and he shall have abundance. But from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has.
What you don't use, you lose. The algebra, calculus, history, etc. you once may have learned in school, if you haven't needed it in your life the information tends to dissipate. No need to keep up on that which you haven't needed for awhile, but do use what you are able to to get the highest reward you can:.John 14:26.
Matthew 25:30 And cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.
One coming of Christ is today in the glory of those minds aligned with the same consciousness as he has. This was the 'mustard tree beginning' of 2000 years ago:.Matthew 13:31,32:.2Thessalonians 1:12; Ephesians 1:17-23. But He also came before as He said and after that time He's where He said and that's where He now is:.1John 2:1; 1Peter 1:20; 5:7; John 14:2,3; 16:26-28. How long will He be there?.Acts 3:19-21; He is coming again, so we see there are three comings.
Matthew 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations. And he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
The infinite oneness is only love. Within the unified field is what is known as the collective mind of humanity. Eith love one can somprehend the separation that has caused problems. When one is aligned with the same mind as the Infinite, he or she can see the issue of causation. And the more of us who align with the Infinite, it has a devasting effect upon the evil resident in the collective invisible mind.
Matthew 25:33 And he shall set.(original is 'And stand indeed'; word 'He' not in original).the sheep on his right hand.(means to be in alignment with the consciousness of the Infinite One).but the goats on the left.
Means we live as either goats (the ego level) or at the higher consciousness level. There are two sides to choose.
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, those of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.(2Timothy 1:9).
It's always been there, but something has prevented it from being known to us. We now know what that is and how to rise above it.                                ...chapter 25 continues at verse 35
