Many
times Christ appeared to others after His resurrection.
More
on resurrection of Emmanuel the
Christ.
As the Father raised Emmanuel
from the dead.(Hebrews
13:20).by
the power of His
Holy Spirit so too He
will raise us:.1Corinthians
6:14; Colossians 2:12; Acts
24:15; Daniel 12:2,3.
Many ancient Christians
endured sufferings to death with a heart full of hope in their Creator
for their eternal life:.Hebrews
11:35; Luke 14:14. They were good
hearted people yet lacked a consciousness that would
have protected them, perhaps based on their interpretation
of these next few scriptures:
Romans
8:17 "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with
Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
together." Philippians 1:29 "For
unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him,
but also to suffer for his sake."
Philippians
2:8 "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became
obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." 1Peter
2:21 "For even hereunto were you called, because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps." 1Peter
4:1 "Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm
yourselves likewise with the same mind, for he that has suffered in the
flesh has ceased from sin."
So, what do all they mean,
about suffering with him, about to suffer for his sake, about to be as
he was and that was being obedient unto death, about following his example
of suffering by following his steps, about arming ourselves with the same
mind he had in order to cease from sin? Do
they all mean that we should suffer and be willing to endure that
even unto death?
1Corinthians
15:4-9. Chapter 15 is known as the resurrection chapter.
Without Emmanuel
being
crucified and being raised again by
the power of the Creator, there is no hope for
the rest of us:.1Corinthians
15:13-23 "But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ
not risen. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain
and your
faith is also vain. Yes and we are found
false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that he raised
up Christ, whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For
if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised. And if Christ be not raised,
your faith is vain, you are yet in your sins.(stuck
at the ego level, the
breeding ground for missing the mark of higher consciousness; 'missing
the mark' is what sin is).
Then they also which are
fallen
asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in
Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from
the dead and become the
first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man
came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam
all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive. But every man in his own order. Christ the first fruits. Afterward
they that are Christ's at his coming.(Revelation
20:4)."
While on Earth in the person
of Emmanuel and before His own resurrection, Christ
resurrected others.
Emmanuel made the
spiritual pathway possible. Now we can
be one and that means equal to. That's why
he came to Earth from the invisible realm he was in.
And after that?
Revelation
20:5 "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years
were finished. This is the first resurrection.".This
is not the first resurrection. That sentence in verse 5 should actually
be the first line of the next verse, verse
6.
As Emmanuel
was and many others too,
we all can be resurrected:.Romans
8:11 "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Emmanuel from the dead
dwell
in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken.(make
alive).your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.(the
spirit of love)." Romans
10:11 "For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not
be ashamed." 2Corinthians 4:14
"Knowing that he.(God
the Father).which
raised up the Lord Emmanuel shall raise up us also by Emmanuel and shall
present us with you." 1John 2:28 "And
now, little children, abide in him; that,
when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed.(Ephesians
6:13).before
him at his coming." Acts 24:15
".....that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just
and unjust."
1Corinthians 15:1-8
"Moreover brethren, I declare unto you the
gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received and
wherein you stand, by which also you are saved, if
you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you believed
in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins.according
to the scriptures and that He rose again on the third day according
to the scriptures and that He was seen of Cephas.(another
name for Peter),
then of the twelve and after that He was seen of above five hundred brethren
at once...and after that He was seen of James, then all of the apostles
and last of all, He was seen of me.(Paul;
but some were ashamed).also..."
