Does Paul tell Timothy to be strong in keeping the commandments?.2Timothy 2:1

Did Peter say that commandment keeping was needed to be saved?.Acts 15:11

What is it that we are saved by?

Are we saved by keeping the commandments? Or, are we saved by a bunch of religious do's and don'ts?.2Thessalonians 2:10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved." Acts 15:11 "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Emmanuel Christ we are saved, even as they." Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Did Emmanuel state that we should worship God using a lot of practices common in religion of the day?.John 4:23,24.

Is it what Emmanuel did, meaning His death and resurrection, saving of us?.Hebrews 6:1.

Did Emmanuel say that we are kept in God by the do's and don'ts of various religious practices?.John 17:11,12.

Perhaps it is God's purpose or plan involving us that saves us?.2Timothy 1:9.

Or maybe it's that we are saved if God dwells in us?.1John 4:16 "And we have known and believed the love that God has to us. God is love and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him.".If you dwell in God and God in you, you are obviously saved without the do's and don'ts of the works of religion.

Did Paul say to the jailer who asked how he could be saved, you'll be saved if you do these religious acts?.Acts 16:30,31 "And brought them out and said Sirs what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Emmanuel the Christ and you are saved and your house." 

Did Paul here say anything apart from belief being needed in order to be saved?.1Corinthians 1:21 "...it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."

Is the Spirit life in you because of you keeping the commandments or because you have the gift of righteousness from Emmanuel?.Romans 8:10. Did you get this gift from a book?

Does Paul say that one's own righteousness is that which is based upon God's New Testament law of love in the heart?.Philippians 3:9

Does Paul remind Timothy the more you keep the commandments, the more the grace or favor of God will be upon you?.1Timothy 1:14
   One does not have a relationship with God by trying to please Him with commandment keeping.

Were we saved by the works of being willing to keep the commandments, go to church and pay 10% to it?.2Timothy 1:9; Acts 15:11

Does Paul tell the Thessalonians that they have an everlasting consolation.(nearness with God means a relationship).by being sure to keep all the law including tithing and the commandments?.2Thessalonians 2:16.

Do we glorify God through tithing, keeping the commandments, etc.?.2Thessalonians 1:12
   Did Paul say that keeping the laws of God would edify you and qualify you for a great reward?.Acts 20:32; Galatians 3rd chapter.

Did Paul and Barnabas persuade religious people including the Jews to continue on keeping the commandments and be sure to tithe?.Acts 13:43

And if it had come by adherence to the law, then what?.Galatians 3:10 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse, for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."

Are we now to live by the commandments?.Galatians 2:20

Does Paul say we are made heirs of the Kingdom of God by commandment keeping?.Titus 3:7 "That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." James 1:12 ".....he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him."

Why does Paul often open and sign his letters with."grace be unto you".and not 'brethren, be sure you continue in the blessings of God by keeping the commandments and not being neglectful of giving a tithe to God'?.Philippians 1:2; Romans 16:24; 1Corinthians 1:3; 16:23; 2Corinthians 1:2; 13:14; Galatians 1:3; 6:18; Ephesians 1:2; 6:24; 1Thessalonians 1:1; 5:28; 2Thessalonians 1:2; 3:18; 1Timothy 1:2; 6:21; 2Timothy 1:2; 4:22; Philemon 1:25.
