-Are we to participate in foot washing.(John 13:14).and communion.(1Corinthians 11:26).services?

Communion refers to a ceremony many Christians engage in, that of getting together in fellowship for remembrance of what's called the Lord's Supper, the supper Emmanuel engaged in a few hours before His trial and death. Here He broke bread, handed it to His disciples, and partook.of some wine:.Mark 14:22-25; 1Corinthians 11:22-26.

Some Christians today feel too unworthy to participate in this ceremony and may feel guilty if they do take part in it.

Emmanuel's last supper before His death, burial and resurrection, was with his disciples on the night before his crucifixion, at which he instituted what's since been called the Eucharist, which is based on the Greek word for 'thanksgiving', 'eucharistia' and on the Greek word for 'thankful', 'eucharistos'. It is also called the Lord's Supper, 'Communion', Requiem Mass, Holy Communion, etc. Transubstantiationalists added what they call the doctrine of transubstantiation. The word eucharist is not in the Bible.

So, what was it? The Lord's Supper or Last Supper is called Communion because in it there is fellowship between Christ and his disciples and of the disciples with one another. They communed.(from an Old French word 'communier', meaning 'to share').with one another.

The communion service is powerful for ridding afflictions from ourselves and from those we love, even though they may not be aware that we are including them, as Dr. McAll shows.

Is it required today by God that one participates in such a ceremony?.1Corinthians 11:20 "When you come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.".It was His supper. He ate it and shared it with those with Him.

Religion is one's adoption and willing association with tenets one agrees with. On the other hand, spirituality is just you being with God, that is, believing in God. What's God?.1John 4:8,16. 

Religion often bypasses the truth of what you already have in Christ, that is they haven't effectively taught you what you have in Christ. Instead it is emphasized what you need to become and that can override what you already are. And what's that?

Generally, religion is man's attempt to figure out the invisible world with his limited low consciousness ego mind. From the low consciousness level it just cannot be done. Why?

From the low consciousness level, man invents all sorts of religious crap, based on the level he is at and that's the level where fear, doubt, an unworthy of God feeling along with guilt reside:.Deuteronomy 32:17. Any religion which only consists of formality is an utterly useless one.

From religion comes all sorts of strange and harmful beliefs based on superstition with most of them crappy and opposed to the universal law of liberty. We have the religion of evolution and the religions of those misusing the name of God to champion their particular views:.James 2:12 "So speak you and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."

Science if that way can also be termed a religion.

"The kind of science a scientist creates depends on what level his consciousness may be at. Orthodox.science is at the ordinary level of consciousness, the three-dimensional level, thus it misses much. And this is true for any other human activity. Religion is all too often a combination of beliefs of a few who wish to project their beliefs onto others.(example of the idiocy), so that they too will be a part of the organization the few believe are good for others:.Acts 15:24 "Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, You must be circumcised and keep the law, to whom we gave no such commandment."

What did Emmanuel feel about religion? 

Religious history has shown hates in the name of love and killing under the names of Christ and Christian, such as in the Crusades.

Religious history has also shown idiocy of those involved:.1Kings 18:26,28,29.

This type of religion is antiquated and generally gung ho and blinded:.Romans 10:2 "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.".They flog what they have been taught as salespeople for their church and are closed-minded to knowledge of truth from other sources:.Matthew 15:14 "Let them alone; they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

True disciples of God are true because they bear the fruit of the Father, which is love, not because of dedication to a bunch of rules and regulations as it has been throughout the history of religion:.John 15:8 "Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, so shall you be my disciples."

Such religion has never found the truth about hell and continues to flog an eternal ever burning up of the wicked in severe.torment, while at the same time looking for the Prince of Peace to bring a peaceful world to the Earth. And then at the same time, they are hoping to go up there somewhere to a heaven, most don't know where. It is nuts!

How could a good and loving God punish any of His creation in such a horrible way? Well, that's what religion has taught; a loving God who does unloving things. Well then, what has God got to say about it?.Luke 6:35,36.

Poor quality religion is in the whitewashing and brainwashing fear business for purposes of control over easily swayed people:.Matthew 27:20. It's an industry often feeding upon sincere hopes of the faithful, those seeking and searching for truth, while steering them away.

The Infinite is in the cleansing and acceptance business! Religion offers a great reward way off somewhere, but what if you need now just the next small reward?

While Orville and Wilbur Wright were inventing the airplane, most observers supported them. Yet their father, a fundamentalist minister, did not. He told them that their bizarre invention was the work of the devil and he warned them that they would surely go to hell if they succeeded.."If people were supposed to fly, God would have given us wings".he exhorted them. Such is religion! Superstitious. Backward. Confusing. Money and control motivated.

The ancient religious Pharisees, Sadducees, lawyers, doctors and scribes were that way.

As a whole, religion.(an example of religion:.Luke 18:9-14).does not know the real Infinite One at all and is completely out of touch with the reality of the Infinite Intelligence, the Creator of all that is or ever will be:.Isaiah 45:5; Jeremiah 4:22; John 14:9.

Many men and women in all religions do know the real Infinite One and many more in all religions and those having no religion, sincerely desire to know the truth about themselves and this great Infinite Being, but the vast majority in religion, only know their.religion and this keeps them bound to mediocrity.regarding spiritual concerns:.John 15:17-21.

Orville and Wilbur were bicycle mechanics before they set their hands to the airplane. Their father could have equally criticized them in that profession for engaging in a pursuit 'unnatural' to human beings such as riding a bicycle could be considered. Yet the belief system of fear and ignorance is not logical. It picks and chooses what is good and evil and its tenets do not stand the scrutiny of reason.

Why you don't need 'religion':.John 15:26.

Repentance is often religion's only answer to sins committed. The.gift.of righteousness is the answer of the Infinite One to all humanity:.John 3:17 "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.".One can't be saved unless awakened to that fact.

Religion deals out laws to keep sinners in line and hoping for a better future because of obedience.(such as tithing).and to show people how they must change.(obey the church).in order to be saved. Governments deal out laws to keep everything else in line. You can always tell how spiritual and loving a nation is by the number of laws it has. The more laws, the further away from spirituality and into the mass mind the majority are.

The apostle Paul talked of this binding people to erroneous doctrines. Religion generally makes people worse, as they become bewitched into believing negatives about themselves that are the antithesis of what the Great Living Infinite Intelligence knows to be true about them. Is that why 70% of born again Christians have a stint in a mental institution?

Religion surreptitiously turns around the truth of God to easily lead people into resentment, hate, bitterness and downright murder. They become so far removed from the truth of the Holy Bible, they instead believe what their spiritually blind leaders tell them and have come to accept that they should violate their conscience as they are led to jump through all the hoops necessary to be an outstanding, upstanding 'churchee':.Matthew 23:4. Such are they who are fueled by desire to be worshipped instead of worshipping. They fail to see that they don't have to produce works to be perfect in the Creator's eyes and that all their efforts do is attempt to put forth a perfect front for the eyes of others:.Matthew 23:27,28. The Creator already sees sincere people of love as completely perfect:.Romans 4:17 "...God, who quickens the dead and calls those things which be not as though they were."

All good works get you a reward, so works of the heart are worth it, where works based on one's ego get you nothing; example of Cain and Able.

Religion keeps many down in heart who cannot yet see their own way with God clearly and thus unable to cut asunder crap doctrines they feel they should be following:.Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Acts 17:11 "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

The Infinite One we normally refer to as the true God of all good creation or the Creator, tells us to deal out forgiveness 70x7, knowing that as one grows in love, he is on the right track! 

But if there is a problem with forgiving another, what do you do? Does Christ forgive everyone? Yes, but only if and when they want to turn their life around. All humanity was saved before they became physical:.2Timothy 1:9. But what good does that do for anyone if they just keep their lives in the garbage can?

Each time resentment, the hate, the dislike comes to your mind, it's time again for the thought of forgiveness. Take effort here to erase the past from affecting your present. It may not take seventy times seven tries, but all that means is, to keep at it until the negatives about these others disappear. They will if you do some work on it as this man did. So what should the thoughts be of an individual on the road to forgiving another?.Philippians 4:8. The Infinite has a different attitude toward the evil than governments and religion today have.

Religion in the past and to some nauseating.extent today has insisted on keeping truth esoteric and/or confusing, in order to 'keep a handle on people', the very antithesis of the freeness Emmanuel made possible for humanity and for which He came to die for.

Religion has shown itself to be quarrelsome, divisive and idiotic, but like all things influenced by Satan's dark side beings and people of the same ilk, there are wrongs things with them that will bite you back in time.

Religion is not often a sharing of free souls, free persons who are happy with where they are with this Great Infinite Intelligence, but rather a source of indoctrination often using false well twisted doctrines.(Isaiah 5:20,21,23).that appear correct. Religion bespeaks of control of people more than it does the freedom a loving person is able to express with joy amongst others.

Religion says in effect, If you do not conform to what we believe is what God says, He will reject you and we will enforce what we think is God's rejection of you, as has happened where great tribulation fell upon early believers, from the time after Emmanuel was crucified to this present day in parts of the world.(find such information on the Internet); where people of love, be they in a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Roman Catholic, Hindu, Mormon, JW, etc. church, are still being persecuted and martyred.

Religion justifies itself in murdering family members who may believe differently than they do. This is what happened almost daily during times of the Inquisition. And happens today with the covid con, telling other family members they are wrong for their free choice against all things covid. Horrible atrocities were fueled by fear generated in the masses and excited by superstitions.promulgated by religious leaders during these Inquisitional times. Today it's no different, that is, until people question, question and always question what another may want you to conform to.

Since the Inquisition there have been many attempts at genocide by those would be masters of humanity.(Psalms 10:7-10).that are contrary to the golden rule.(Matthew 22:37-40), those believing that what is best for them is not what they want to share with others they deem below their status. It's the height of ego selfishness.

Paul knew well about religion that leads on into no tolerance for others. He was in it:.Acts 26:5 "...after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee."

Religion, says there is a judgment day where, if your works are not good enough, you may go to hell! God says, you have already been judged, as you judge yourself. And what is this hell thing anyhow?

Is the righteous of God exemplified by revealing various physical religious practices for others to see and perhaps follow?.Romans 1:16,17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes...For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The just shall live by faith." 1Corinthians 2:13,14 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.(as opposed to comparing physical things with spiritual). But the natural man.(the natural man who may also be a religious man prefers things which can relate to what he is like and what he is like is what he knows and what most religious people know is from that which has been taught to them by whatever church they may be in; this is what it was like for religious people in the time before Christ:.Acts 13:39; Hebrews 9:9,10).receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.".What does Paul tell us about following all this old religious stuff in this age of Christ?.Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Acts 13:39 "And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses."

Religious people, depending on what type of church they have given their present allegiance to, do all kinds of things that they have come to believe are favorable to God; water baptism, tithing, communion, washing one another's feet, sabbath keeping, laying on of hands, keeping parts of the defunct.Mosaic Law, going weekly to church, yet may live far less than exemplary lives on other days of the week. A few churches even continue on today believing in the unsupported idea of an ever burning hell.

Things such as these, religions feel are necessary for children of God to follow. Somewhere along the line such teachers of parishioners left off the idea that it's faith that qualifies one as being a child of God, not the do's and don'ts put on to a church's parishioners:.Galatians 3:26 "For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Emmanuel."

One cannot permanently affect one's spirit by works designed to impact the emotions. What are spiritual works? A person's works of love from a sincere heart, one of pure love, affects all those it touches. Emmanuel got the testimony He told to others from another source not of religion:.John 5:30,34 "I can of mine own self do nothing. As I hear, I judge and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me....But I receive not testimony from man, but these things I say, that you might be saved."

We were saved without any of those things religion has emphasized as being important:.2Timothy 1:9. So, is there a need in people's lives for religion or is it rather those in the business of religion have a need to be in peoples' lives?

People believe all kinds of things like continuous repentance, where more emphasis is placed on repenting than on acceptance of the righteousness that is God's gift.(Romans 5:17).to us thanks to Emmanuel Christ. They mostly believe this way because they have not heard all that repentance means. Because of this, they need answers to questions.

People have faith toward God for blessings, believe in hell and eternal judgment and so on. They comprehend all these as part of a spiritually human's life, part of the doctrine.(teaching).of Christ. But Paul tells us:.Hebrews 6:1,2 "Therefore.leaving.the principles.(original is 'beginning').of the doctrine.(original for word 'doctrine' is 'words', 'sayings').of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms and of laying on of hands and of resurrection of the dead and of eternal judgment."

What would any religious person today think of you if you even asked the question "What do you think of leaving the words of Christ behind us?" They would think you a heretic to be dealt with by kicking you out of their congregation! If you have been in a place like that and they kicked you out, be glad you're away from their clique, based on their.religious rules, rules disseminated by leaders which church congregations seem to always swallow whole hog:.2Peter 2:12-15; Jude 1:10. Any particular church's rules which may prevent those of the congregation from awakening should be avoided. Such rules are they which keep Christ out of people's lives:.Matthew 10:14 "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.".A false church's minister will get upset with you for asking many sincere questions, questions which he or she can't properly answer.

Some churchgoers have more fear than faith, that is, they fear getting away from following tenets of the church they go to, because they feel life will turn against them. Such are they who need to increase the faith that eradicates.retributive.fear. Such are they who need their minds on the real God and off of the low consciousness concept of punishment.

This then is religion, because religious persons think God wants certain things done continuously to prove that they are His children, worthy of His blessings as a special people. They believe in error that to please God, works of 'obedience', such as were necessary under the old covenant should still be done today in order to be keep people spiritual and to keep people paying, rather than the righteousness of faith:.1Peter 1:5. 

Some become frozen in what they may have accepted as their religious mode, their conscience seared:.Galatians 3:3; 5:1,13; James 2:10,12; Matthew 10:34; John 17:26. 

In this new covenant time, what the New Testament is all about, how could you not be kept spiritual. It's not even your job to do it. It's His!.Ephesians 2:10: Hebrews 13:5 "...for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you."

Then why still are extant do's and don'ts based on the old, now done away law? What do religious do's and don'ts get you as compared with faith?:.1John 5:4 "...this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." Colossians 2:7 "Rooted and built up in him and stablished in the faith..." 1Peter 2:5 "You also as lively stones are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices.(what are these?), acceptable to God by Emmanuel Christ."

Is it an individual's doing based on some part of an old defunct law that is spiritually important today? Were religious do's and don'ts necessary for building one up in Christ? Did your sins ever count against you?

All or some of these things have been part of each of our Christian lives depending on which denomination we were/are in.

The base to build on is love:.2John 1:5,6. This is the doctrine of Christ to keep:.2John 1:9.

Paul is saying.(Hebrews 6:1,2).to now leave the base alone, going beyond, to that of building upon it into the fullness of Christ.(Ephesians 4:13,14).in order to become mature.
