Hebrews
9:1 Then verily the
first covenant had also ordinances of divine service and a worldly
sanctuary.
Hebrews
9:2 For there was a tabernacle
made; the first, wherein
was the candlestick and the table and the shewbread;
which is called the sanctuary.
Hebrews
9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the
Holiest of all;
Hebrews
9:4 Which had the golden censer and the ark
of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden
pot that had manna and Aaron's rod that budded and the tables
of the covenant;
Hebrews
9:5 And over it the cherubims
of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
Hebrews
9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests
went always into the first tabernacle,
accomplishing the service of God.
Hebrews
9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year.(on
the
Day of Atonement), not without blood, which he offered
for himself and for the errors of the people.(*).
Hebrews
9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying
that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as
the first tabernacle was yet standing.
You
can't get into the realm
of high consciousness (the kingdom of God)
while
lounging
around at the low consciousness ego
level with a mix of
law, grace, lies and twisted information, that is you keep some rules and
discard the others.
All
the old laws were
abolished at the time of Christ so that wouldn't happen to those sincerely
seeking truth. But some
were still trying to make it so and that because of their disbelief
of and unconcern
with truth. Emmanuel
ran up against these types and castigated
them:.Matthew
23:13-33.
Hebrews
9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present.(Jeremiah
7:22), in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices
that
could not make him.("could
not make him", see *).that
did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
But
what
today makes us perfect?
The Infinite
One always wanted.(?)
all humans to be in the
realm of higher consciousness that He is in, so He in the physical
being of Emmanuel paved the way by His death for all sin for all time:.Jeremiah
16:21; 7:22,23; Isaiah
43:10; 52:14. It's God's work
in our hearts and it's free and wonderful!:.Isaiah
55:1; Galatians 4:26.
Hebrews
9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks and divers.(different).washings
and carnal.ordinances,
imposed on them until the
time of reformation.
Barnes
Notes: imposed means here 'laid on them'. It does not mean that
there was any oppression or injustice in regard to these ordinances, but
that they were appointed for a temporary purpose.
Hebrews
9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come.(what
good things?), by a greater and more perfect tabernacle,
not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
'Not
of this building' or 'nothing to do with the ancient tabernacle', that
is, in no way connected with all the
do's and don'ts regarding the tabernacle and it various
required procedures.
Comprised with.Barnes
Notes:.The
meaning for."not
of this building".is,
that the place where he officiates is not fitted up by human power and
art, but is the work of God. The object is to show that the ministry of
Christ is perfect compared to that which could be rendered by a human priest
and performed in an Earthly temple reared by human skill and power.
Hebrews
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood.(Hebrews
13:20).he entered in once
into the holy place, having obtained eternal
redemption for us.
This
verse alludes
to going within.
Hebrews
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats and the ashes of an heifer
sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies
to the purifying of the flesh;
Such
as it was in Old
Testament times.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge
your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews
9:14 How much more shall the
blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit.(note
that Christ lives through the eternal spirit and so it is with us more
and more as we progress spiritually; like, you get better at riding a bicycle
the more you like it and do it; the more one studies, the more he or she
learns, if they are of the mind to learn).offered
himself without spot.(original
'without rebuke', that is, didn't begrudgingly
do it and therefor
the invisible energy can move one from profitless
works {Luke 10:38-42} to works
that make a difference in life).to
God, purge.(original
for word 'purge'
is 'cleanse'; we're cleansed by following the many
prompts coming to the mind each day, all intended to help you, to
awaken you to God's standard of love) your conscience.(?).from
dead
works to serve.(original
connotes
more of an awakening to, an caring to the point of relying on God, of having
one's attention on the things
of God, a being attuned
to God, not a grievous
serving where it's a burdensome
thing, such as working for overseers
in a domineering.organization).the
living God?
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator
of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of
the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which
are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews
9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator
of the
new testament.(that
is, when one is in Christ, which is the body of believers {Hebrews
10:5}, they now have direct to the Father:.Luke
10:22), that by means of death.(the
death
of Emmanuel, who died and rose
again), for the redemption
of the transgressions that were under.(transgressions
caused by not being able to keep the horribly
detailed Mosaic Law; redeemed by abolishing
the law that declared violation of it sin).the
first testament.(*),
they which are called.(how
is one called?; note also, the scripture here avoids talking of
repentance being a requirement
toward eternal life, nor was repentance a requirement to keeping any part
of the Old Testament Mosaic Law, where today,
many who sin equate
their sinning to breaking one or more of the commandments, then feel bad
and that they should repent, not realizing that the law they are repenting
for violating was taken out of existence (Hebrews
10:9,12) by the death of Emmanuel and a new law, a spiritual law was
now being amplified:.Matthew
22:36-40).might receive the promise
of
eternal inheritance.
Those following
the Mosaic Law in the Old Testament didn't
receive what was promised to them at that time:.Hebrews
9:9; 11:39,40. They only
would receive physical blessings for physical obedience to a law they
couldn't keep anyhow. So what good was it?.Hebrews
7:19; 10:1.
Hebrews
9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the
death of the testator.
Hebrews
9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead, otherwise it is
of no strength at all while the testator lives.
Hebrews
9:18.Whereupon
neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Hebrews
9:19 For when Moses had spoken
every precept.(all
of the Mosaic
Law).to all the people according
to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water and scarlet
wool and hyssop.(a
plant).and sprinkled both the
book and all the people,
Hebrews
9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God has enjoined
unto you.
That
is, commanded/instructed you to do if you agree to it and they did:.Exodus
24:3. One today can't
separate part of it to follow and expect things to go well as some
may expect it to work. Keeping any part of this now done
away.ancient
law, is likened
to kicking the message
and the messenger of the New Testament out of one's life in preference
to doing
one's own righteousness.
Hebrews
9:21.Moreover
he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle
and all the vessels of the ministry.
Hebrews
9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood and without
shedding of blood is no remission.
It
was Emmanuel Christ's blood shed for all, that really matters to
those coming alive in God:.Titus
3:4-6.
Hebrews 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns
of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly
things themselves with a better sacrifice.than
these.
Hebrews
9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns.(all
physical patterns have their invisible counterparts,
such as was the tabernacle, the vessels, the people, etc.).of
things in the heavens.(there
is
an invisible
world, wherein is what is called the Akashic
record, the collective mind, aka
the mass mind, of all humanity since coming to be on Earth; the patterns
on Earth have their invisible but very real counterparts).should
be purified with these.(verses
19-22, above),.(what
were these patterns in the invisible that needed purifying?),
but the heavenly things themselves with a better sacrifice.(a
better sacrifice than the blood of calves & goats, as was used by them
of long times past in the now defunct
Old Testament Mosaic
Law; original for word 'sacrifices' here can be both plural and singular
and here should be singular, that is 'sacrifice', although translated in
the plural, yet
referring to the one sacrifice of
He who came to die for us all).than
these.
The verse is
speaking of what Emmanuel
did and is doing through those on the road to higher consciousness:.Ephesians
2:10.
So we have
the."patterns".on
one hand and on the other, we have the."things
themselves". so, what does this mean? The."things
themselves".have
to do with the consciousness. The."patterns".are
thoughts generated by consciousness. Thoughts produce evil or good patterns
and consciousness enables them to be one way or the other. What thoughts
are produced go into the Akashic
record and in Old Testament times were dealt with by the rigmarole
of the ancient Mosaic Law with its various
sacrifices, etc., but that rigmarole wasn't enough to deal with consciousness.
For that, it took Christ, verse 26, below.
Hebrews
9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,
which are only are the figures of the true.(the
physical things were representative of the true patterns behind them),
but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for
us.
Whereas
Satan used to appear at God's throne
to accuse us, finding something wrong to deprecate
us (1Peter 5:8), as Satan was against
us, never for us. Christ is all for us.
Christ is
in
the presence of God; when you are in the presence you are in
Christ; Christ is in the spiritual realm
now in order
to put away all our sins once and for all, so now sins, past, present
and any future ones are gone asthe next verse shows.
Hebrews
9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest.(in
Old Testament times).entered
into the holy place
every year with blood of others.
What
others? 'blood of others',
or, 'another' as the original has it. The original word 'another' meaning
what? verses 12-14 above show this to be
the blood of goats and calves.
Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered
since the foundation of the world. But now once in the end of the
world has he appeared.to put away.sin
by the sacrifice of himself.
Hebrews
9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the
world. But now once.(once
was enough for everyone, everywhere and for all time {*}).in
the end of the world.(Eclectic
Notes: "up until Christ, the question
of sin had not been settled; Christ closes the preceding.period.{the
old
covernant as is in the Old
Testament}.by
abolishing
sin"; now the time had come for souls
to have a relationship
with God).has he appeared to
put away.(original
for 'put away' is 'annul').sin
by the sacrifice.(original
'killing', which was a gift
not a sacrifice, because it took nothing from Him that He didn't
already have before:.John
17:5).of himself.(Mark
15:34).
A sacrifice
is something you give up to gain something. Emmanuel gave
nothing up that he didn't have before He was human, only His physical
life on Earth, which was
enough for all.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once
to die, but after this is judgment,
Hebrews
9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after.(original
for word 'after' is 'with').this is
judgment.
What judgment
is this? See verse 24 above, where the context shows He represents us and
how is He representing us is Verse 26 above shows it was He who put away
sin for us, that is, it had nothing to do with our works; our spiritual
works, the good things we may do for ourselves and others earn a reward
but they have nothing to do with the work Christ completed forever, that
of no more sin.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to
bear the sins of many and unto them that look for him shall he appear
the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hebrews
9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many.(how
many?).and unto them
that look for him.(those
who desire to be on the spiritual road).shall
he appear.(original
also 'be seen').the
second time without sin.(without
His purpose being to eradicate
sin by paying the penalty for it for all time for all people, but instead
to be the captain of their development {Ephesians
2:10; Hebrews 12:2} into the
higher consciousness of love:.Hebrews
2:10).unto
salvation..(?)
Revelation
1:7.
