4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a
child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.

Clarke's Commentary: there is this physical Jerusalem on Earth
which is allegorical to the
spiritual Jerusalem (the kingdom
of God) where all in it are free from all bondage and sin:.2Corinthians
3:17. Paul is saying that it is this Jerusalem which is our mother.
