Romans
3:1 What advantage then has the Judean? or what profit is there of
of
circumcision?
Romans
3:2 Much every way; chiefly, because that unto
them were committed the oracles
of God.
And
the dedicated
ones took this responsibility
most seriously.*).
Romans
3:3 For what
if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God
without effect?
2Timothy
2:13.
Romans
3:4 God forbid. Yea, let God
be true, but every man a liar.(God
makes
no mistakes). As it is written.(written
in
Psalms 51:4), That
you might be justified in your sayings and might overcome when you are
judged.
"let
God be true, but every man a liar".means
to lean always toward God, as Job and Jeremiah learned:.Job
30:29,21,26. Those whose hearts are for God avoid having a lying nature.
Barnes Notes:
It implies that
every opinion
which others hold (Proverbs 14:12)
and every doctrine
which may have been defended, should be at once abandoned if it implied
that God was false:.1Timothy
5:22 "...keep yourself pure."
Barnes Notes:."and
might overcome". In the Hebrew,
it's."might be
pure".
The last sentence
in this verse is saying, since God is true so should we be, so that others
see you are an individual who keeps
his word and is not a hypocritical.liar:.John
18:20.
Life is all
about correction through learning.to.be
good.amongst
a corrupt society.
Romans
3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend.(shows
forth to).the righteousness
of God.(that
is, we learned something about our relationship
with God), what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who
takes.(original
for word 'takes' is 'brings', 'allows' and how
does God allow or bring this?).vengeance?
I speak as a man.
Barnes
Notes: If they didn't believe (verse 3 above), God was true to
his promises anyhow.
Notwithstanding
their unbelief, God's character was the same:.Hebrews
13:8. God's glory (that is, the goodness of God) resulted from their
unbelief, what
goodness?).
Romans
3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise, for we have
before proved both Judeans and Gentiles, that they are all under sin.
And
therefor all of us needed redemption.
Romans
3:10 As it is written.(in
the Old Testament in Psalms 14:1-3
and 53:1-3), There
is none righteous, no, not one.
This
verse and the ones below are talking about the ordinary
consciousness of humanity, but in the high consciousness of the Creator,
it's a different story.
Psalms
10:4,5.
Romans
3:11,12 There is none that comprehends. There is none that seeks after
God. They are all gone out of the way. They are together become unprofitable.
There is none that does good,
no, not one.
Psalms
14:1-3 "To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool has said
in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable
works, there is none that does good. They are all gone aside, they are
all together become filthy. There is none that does good, no, not one."
Psalms
53:1-3 "To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil,
A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they and have done abominable iniquity. There is none that does good.
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were
any that could comprehend enough to seek God. Every one of them is gone
back. They are altogether become filthy. There is none that does good,
no, not one."
Ecclesiastes
7:20 "Just men upon Earth do good and sin not."
3John
1:11 "Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
He that does good is of God, but he that does evil has not seen God."
Romans
3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre. With their tongues they
have used deceit.(the
key to recognizing who such people are). The poison of asps
is under their lips.
Matthew
7:16-20.
Romans
3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
Romans
3:15,16 Their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery
are in their ways.
Romans
3:17 And the way of peace have they not known.
Why
have they not known peace and why have they known wars?.Jeremiah
4:22.
Romans
3:18 There is no fear
of God before their eyes.
Romans
3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law says, it says to them
who are under the law.(who
are the 'them' and what law were they under?), that every
mouth may be stopped and all the world may become guilty before God.
Why
was all the world to be made guilty in God's eyes?.Romans
5:12-21.
Romans
3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified
in his sight. For by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Sin
requires knowledge of what wrong to do, so what are those things wrong
not to do that are not of the
way of love? Even though sin no longer
counts, much of religion has kept people in fear of it. A control mechanism
initiated by the cabal,
that Christ came to free humanity from.
Romans
3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Romans
3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith
of Emmanuel the Christ unto all and upon all them that believe.(Romans
8:4). For there is no
difference.
Notice
that what the true righteous Creator wants for us comes by
faith.
Romans
3:23 For all have sinned
and come short of the glory of God;
Romans
6:23.
Romans
3:24 Being.justified.freely.(original
also adds 'a gift' {one of many};
why.already.justified?.2Timothy
1:9).by his grace
through the
redemption that is in
Christ.Emmanuel.
Note,
redemption is in
Him, not in one's own works of being a goody-goody self-righteous
individual.
Justified freely
without having some emotional experience of repentence.(Hebrews
6:1), that is, once one decides to be on the path of a higher consciousness,
he is then ok and in the realm
of God, the realm of love, aligned with God.
Luke
6:25 "Woe unto you that are full.(full
of the s~^t of what they have deemed
important in their selfish lives),
for you shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now for you shall mourn and
weep."
Romans
3:25 Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation
through faith in his blood.(what
He accomplished for all through fulfilling the purpose He came to Earth
for in
the first place), to declare his righteousness
for the remission of sins that are past.(why
just the past?), through the forbearance
of God;
God
waited with you while you grew spiritually enough to be in the
family, just as you wait for your children to become mature.
Romans
3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his
righteousness. That he.(God).is
just because he justifies those who believe in Emmanuel.(that
it, Christ came to save those from where their lives would have ended up
if he hadn't:.1Timothy
1:15).
John
3:16,17; 2Corinthians 3:17.
Romans
3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works?
Nay, but by the law of faith.
Faith
is a law, that is, it always works, but it's not your faith, it's
God's faith and that as a gift to you:.Ephesians
2:8; so, the gift from God is a law that always works good for you
and it's a gift from God for all; and it was given before humanity was
on the Earth (2Timothy 1:9), but
humanity as a whole, didn't want anything to do with God and His gifts:.Jeremiah
44:16,17.
Romans
3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without
the deeds of the law.
Romans
3:29 Is he the God of the Judeans only? Is he not also of the Gentiles?
Yes, of the Gentiles also.
Romans
3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision.(the
ancient Israelites were required to be circumcised).by
faith and the uncircumcision.(refers
to the Gentiles).through faith.
Romans
3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith?
God forbid, instead we establish the law.
The
intent of any law of God is always to lift man up higher, because God is
love, not that God has love, God IS love. Without God there would
not be love:.1John
4:8,16. The Mosaic Law of the Old Testament could have raised them
up higher in consciousness, but the people had no heart for it. Faith is
of the heart:.Deuteronomy
5:29; Jeremiah 44:16,17.
The verse is
showing that those who lived before Christ's time, especially Abraham,
were in fact justified, not by obedience to the ritual
law of Moses, the
Mosaic Law, but by faith
in the promises of God:.Galatians
3:1-18.
