The Creator does
not dwell where there is imperfection. That is why He gave you the
gift of His righteousness:.Romans
5:17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one, much more they
which receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Emmanuel the
Christ."
Ephesians 2:4-6 "But God
who is rich in mercy for his great love wherewith he loved us even when
we were dead in sins, has quickened
us together with Christ. By grace you are saved. And has raised us up together
and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Emmanuel.".So
you must be as righteous
as you can be in the Father's eyes, right!
Believing the gospel.(what
'gospel' means).gives
one
the power of the Creator.
When you are righteous because of the
finished work of Christ, this qualifies you for the power of the Creator,
the power of the gospel, to work in your life and through your heart outward.
But often the human being
just cannot believe. Why is that? Humans have
free will to decide to not believe or to believe, which means to accept
as true, whatever their attention may be on. Not believing is often due
to having been led astray. Here one is blind to rewards
and even blind to consequences of his or her decisions. So, they just go
along, accepting whatever comes in life. That is, many people just don't
know enough to want to believe or even to decide against something.
Most people don't even know
themselves and have not
convinced themselves of themselves or
why
they are here in
the first place. Or, they may just not be interested enough one way
or the other for something to matter to them. People don't believe something,
because what their attention may be on at the time is more really important
to them than matters of eternity. We all need to come to see that we need
to convince ourselves toward one way or the other about everything, because
that's our individual lives. We need to be convinced about the truth of
ourselves, what we are.(1,
2,
3),
what truths do we hold to? Without knowing things along this line, we just
drift along in life with an outlook like the ancient Roman
God Janus.
So, how do you make someone
believe? You don't. Why?
But you can make a difference
in their life without even meeting them.
As the power of God works
in you, you grow in faith:.Romans
1:16,17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is
the power of God unto salvation
to every one that believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.(what
this means). For.therein
is the righteousness.of
God revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, The just shall live
by faith."
One grows in faith through
the knowledge of the Creator:.2Peter
3:18 "But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour
Emmanuel the Christ. To him be glory.(means
in the original 'in Him is glory').both
now and for ever. Amen."
Belief is the
road leading to faith and faith is that which allows one to make higher
consciousness decisions for his or her life. On the one side are love and
faith and on the other, hate and greed or selfishness. Life presents
us with two sides for a reason.
How is belief different
from faith? Basically they are synonyms,
however there is a subtle
difference: Believe is 'to
accept as true' and faith.is
having enough
persuasion
in mind that it's not your faith that counts, but Christ's. It's Christ's
faith in you that takes your life forward in
the good. Follow the faith of Christ as you would follow the lead of
your dad as he walks with you through unknown paths in the counrtyside.
This
explanation may help in seeing the difference.
This is the abiding faith,
that is, Christ's faith abides with you and believing
in Christ enables one to abide continually in His light,
exemplified
by the high consciousness ways of the Creator:.John
12:46 "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on
me should not abide in darkness."
Action to live
out of one's beliefs with confidence comes from believing something
to be true and that it can be relied
upon. Beliefs being the basis for actions. So, one wants to be sure that
his or her beliefs are based on truth,
then he or she can walk forward in faith, that is, walk forward with confidence.
To put it another way: A
belief is information you learned that you hold as being true. Faith has
to do with action based upon belief. Faith
is trusting your beliefs enough to take action upon them if you want
to do so. A simple example: When you look at a road map to go to say, a
festival in a country town that you haven't been to before, you have faith
that the directions you believe that are on a map will take you to where
you desire to go. Once you have been there, you no longer need the road
map, depending on one's memory of course, Ha ha! and all that's needed
is the decision to go to that town, because you remember that you believed
the way you learned from the map will again hold true and take you there.
So, you have faith and take action based upon your belief in the map's
directions:.Galatians
3:25 "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."
Spiritual speaking, faith
is the abiding assurance of the reality of the Creator in your heart. From
here you have faith in makng decisions.(actions
of the mind).because
you are sure, you believe - that the action or actions contemplated is/are
in alignment with high
spiritual principles.
When you believe, you are
accepting something as true or real after having been convinced of it.
For example you believe a news story. Another news story you may not accept
as true. You may believe one person and not another. You accept the expectation
of something such as your relatives arriving for a visit from afar. You
have confidence, or trust in someone to solve a problem. You are sure of
the value of something such as free speech, or perhaps the quality of an
item's manufacture, or the ability of the Creator to help and heal. So
faith, living faith.(or,
faith for daily living).is
a being alive to what you presently hold as true; your beliefs. One's belief
can change according to what his present attention may be on from time
to time.
Faith evidences
the unseen.(Hebrews
11:1), that something indeed is
true in the invisible, that is, faith is the evidence of the invisible,
that what is formed in the invisible must come into being, into the 'slowed
down' frequencies that we can use our five senses to experience.
Faith links one to the Infinite
One. If you have faith, you can be assured that your faith will be rewarded:.James
1:6-8; Faith is a spiritual thing. The understanding that all is spirit,
that all we know is spirit and from spirit, things come into the physical,
into the physical from that invisible realm all around us.
This is faith, this then
is the confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of something.
It's a thing of trust, a thing of being sure, of being convinced in mind
of something spiritual, such as the goodness of the Creator in the land
of the living.
Faith is a trusting acceptance
of the Creator's will of goodness for you. Things of the Creator
are indeed worthy of trust. But even though faith is a tool, a gift freely
given to you.(Romans
12:3), it must be used to produce
something.(Colossians
1:29), for God can only do for
you what He can do through you:.Mark
6:3-6; Philippians 2:13.
And, thereby we increase
in faith:.Luke
17:5; John 3:30,31; Ephesians
4:16; Colossians 2:19; 1Thessalonians
4:9,10; Galatians
5:6 "For in Emmanuel the Christ...faith
works by love." 1Thessalonians
3:12 "And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward
another and toward all men, even as we do toward you."
You may say 'I believe I'll
have another beer'. This speaks to the sure availability of beer. You wouldn't
normally say, I have faith I'll have another beer, unless there was scarcity
of beer.
Trust is firm reliance on
integrity, ability and character, your higher qualities. To most people
belief implies.trust
in something they wish to occur. To them belief is more of a wishing, like
'I believe I'll go on a holiday to the where there is more warmth from
the Sun'. These types of 'beliefs', these wishings, give meaning
to experiences we have daily, the more so we are confident of them occurring.
However,
many people's beliefs seem to be based on nothing but wishful assumptions.
Beliefs are true if they are held to be true. Then they are true for the
person holding those beliefs. Maybe not so for others.
Beliefs can be judgmental
by believing what is good and what is bad. This is a belief in separation,
not realizing that good and evil are two sides of the same coin. Good to
know the difference, but not so good to make your beliefs a means of accepting
others or condeming them in your heart. Unfortunately,
this kind of structure makes up most of humanity's belief base. And it's
usually the good or bad 'for me' judgment used in acquiring
more for self, even if it may be at the expense of another.
Belief is more of an acknowledging
that something real has affected you; I believe a mosquito bit me. I believe
it was the brakes failing that caused me to be unable to stop.
There is a difference between
accepting ideas that put you at risk of being negative with someone and
open mindedly using ideas that if tried, may provide beneficial:.Matthew
5:25 "Agree with your adversary
quickly while you art in the way with him..."
You do not have to believe
in that which is true, that which you know for certain. For example, you
don't have to believe in electricity. You know it's there. Belief implies
something we are not really sure of but hope will occur.
Beliefs.(the
things we hold as true).are
usually what we act from, and most of those beliefs are based on assumptions,
many of which may not be true. For example, some people believe that the
Earth is flat, even today!
"If something is real, like
electricity, you don't have to believe in it."....Deepak
Chopra.
We hold onto our beliefs,
our ideas of what we have accepted as being valid.
Every individual has built their own view of existence and their place
within it. Some of these beliefs people hold are helpful, but many are
'out to lunch' when one looks at them
from a point of a better consciousness than the one producing them.
This confidence in living
out one's beliefs comes from knowing that what
we really are as human beings, that we understand our connection with
what science calls the ether
or the dark energy, dark
because we can't see it.
This energy supports all
we see and know. It is the giant universal 'computer' with its operating
programs that are intelligently 'written' to do everything from the development
of a baby to the migration of animals,
to the healing of a cut and all else including the maintaining of the giant
electrical engine that is the Universe.
One puts
into actions what he has decided, convinced this will produce what
he believes to be true. One also uses his beliefs in gauging his responses
to others and the various circumstances of life. Often things just don't
work out the way one believed that they would. One
reason why.
Faith is sureness, sureness
to the point of confidence in a stepping out knowing that the Infinite
One is always with you:.Matthew
28:20; Hebrews 13:5. If you're
not sure, wait until you are and get some
guidance.
In things regarding the
Creator, we know them to be true, because we trust Him, having
proved
Him to be true:.1Corinthians
13:12 "For now we see
through a glass, darkly; but then face to face. Now I know.(original
'to become thoroughly acquainted
with', 'to know thoroughly', 'to comprehend').in
part, but then shall I know.(original
'be right upon what I knew' before in part).even.(original
'according as').as
also I am known (original 'have
known'; speaking of the faith he has that produced the effect he had in
his mind)."
Example: trusting the Creator
for
the gift of eternal
life and your reward for your actions here.
Actions here should include getting to the higher consciousness where you
can heal yourself, others and even resurrect
others who have passed on:.Hebrews
11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen.".Faith
produces things, but
patience
is involved in the trying of faith in order to set character.
If your faith is not tried,
how would you know how good it is and if you may need more of it. When
one increases his love, faith,
belief and the other qualities of love increase also.
If what is in your mind,
you agree to be good for you.(thus,
the importance of correct spiritual information),
you have accepted it. It becomes you. When we 'accept' Christ, as
religionists have said, we accept what
Christ is, because nowhere
in the Bible does it say to 'accept Christ as your personal
savior'. This throws you off from truth and into religion.
They mean 'accept Christ', because Christ is in the church, meaning the
organization, building, doctrines,
people, etc. The church is something
else:.Hebrews
12:22,23.
What you accept, becomes
part of what it is that comprises.you.
Keep thinking that you are what the Creator says of you; after all, why
not think from
the truth? The Creator
has created more creators. Learn why you are here. Ask yourself that question
and keep asking it until you know:.Matthew
7:8 "For every one that asks receives and he that seeks finds and to
him that knocks it shall be opened."
Believing
the word of the Creator causes it to be effective in your experience:.1Thessalonians
2:13 "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing because when
you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not
as the word of men but as it is in
truth, the word of God which.effectually
works also in you that believe."
