Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week.(Luke 24:1-6; Matthew 27:61,62), came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it.

Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning and his raiment white as snow.

Matthew 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake and became as dead men.

Matthew 28:5,6 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not you. For I know that you seek Emmanuel, which was crucified. He is not here. For he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Matthew 28:7,8 And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead and behold, he goes before you into Galilee. There shall you see him. Lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy and did run to bring his disciples word.

Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Emmanuel met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet and worshipped him.

Matthew 28:10 Then said Emmanuel unto them, Be not afraid. Go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee and there shall they see me.

Matthew 28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

Matthew 28:12-14 And when they were assembled with the elders and had taken counsel.(a conspiratorial opportunity for mass mind influence), they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say you, His disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and secure you.

The grave clothes in which Emmanuel had been buried were found in good condition, evidence that his body was not stolen away by grave robbers of tombs who would not have taken away just the body and left the high quality clothes behind, as they were new fine linen (Mark 15:46) and anyone would choose to carry a dead body in its clothes rather than naked. If the robbers were supposed to have stolen it, they would not have left the grave clothes behind and it cannot be supposed that robbers would take any time to fold up the linen:.Luke 24:12; John 20:5-9.

Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Emmanuel had appointed them.

Matthew 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him, but some doubted.

Matthew 28:18 And Emmanuel came and spake unto them, saying, All power.(*).is given unto me in heaven and in earth..(*)

Matthew 28:19 Go you therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 28:19 Go you therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them.(is it water baptism that is emphasized here or is it now a thing of the heart?.Ephesians 5:26; can one be enveloped or immersed in the Spirit of God by others who pray that this be so for the one they are praying about? physical baptism is now reduced to a thing of personal preference; Paul came to understand that the things of the Spirit far supersede physical ritual:.Hebrews 6:1,2).in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.("of the Holy Ghost".in original is simply 'air'; meaning is 'of the Holy presence', that is, God is with you when you are with Him; it maybe could be alike to a presence of dryness or dampness in the air, that being, a presence you are aware of).(?).

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.(original for 'end of the world' is 'end of ever', which is never, so it means always and forever, for eternity; just a way back then they said meaning 'always be with you'; Hebrews 13:5 "...for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you."). Amen.

....next New Testament book is Mark
