Jeremiah
10:1,2 Hear you the word which the Lord speaks unto you, O house of
Israel. Thus says the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen and be not
dismayed
at
the signs of heaven, for the
heathen are dismayed at them.
Jeremiah
10:3,4 For the customs of the people are vain.
For one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman
with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold. They fasten it with
nails and with hammers, that it move not.
And
then sing merry
christmas
tunes:.Galatians
4:8-11.
Jeremiah
10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not. They must needs
be borne.(perhaps
they have yet to be born), because they cannot go.(move).
Be not afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them
to do good.
Jeremiah
10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto you, o Lord; you are
great and your name is great in might.
God's
greatness.
Jeremiah
10:7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to you does it
appertain.
Forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms,
there is none like unto you.
Jeremiah
10:8 But they are altogether brutish
and foolish. The stock is a doctrine
of vanities.
Barnes
Notes:."Rather,
the instruction of idols is a piece of wood. That is what they are themselves
and 'ex nihilo nihil fit' meaning 'from nothingness, nothing is made'.
Jeremiah
10:9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish,
and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman and of the hands of the founder.
Blue and purple is their clothing.(made
from expensive dyes, only the wealthy could afford to wear).
They are all the work of cunning men.(done
by the best artisans of society).
Jeremiah
10:10 But the
Lord is the true God, he is the living God and an everlasting king.(1Timothy
1:17). At his wrath the Earth shall tremble and the nations
shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Jeremiah
10:11 Thus shall you say unto them, The Gods.(what
Gods were these?).that have
not made the heavens and the Earth, even they shall perish from the Earth
and from under these heavens.
Jeremiah
10:12 He has made the Earth by his power, he hath established the world
by his wisdom and has stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
Jeremiah
10:13 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the
heavens and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the Earth.
He makes lightnings with rain and brings forth the wind out of his treasures.
Jeremiah
10:14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge. Every founder is confounded
by the graven image. For his molten image is falsehood and there is no
breath in them.
He
or she believes the things they worship (what
does worship mean?) are good for them, not really thinking of the temporality
of life and how so many things are simply time wasters.
Jeremiah 10:15 They are
vanity and the work of errors. In the time of their visitation they perish.
Jeremiah
10:15 They are vanity and the work of errors.(people
don't do things that they think they are in error about, so obviously his
intuition
has dried up {'dried up' is original for word 'confounded' in verse 14
above} otherwise he would not have started in the direction he took in
the first place). In the time of their visitation they perish.
They thought
that by giving attention to ego things, they were in line with purpose
of the God they believed in and would receive benefits from him.
Jeremiah
10:21 For the pastors are become brutish and have not sought God. Therefore
they shall not prosper and all their flocks shall be scattered.
Jeremiah
10:22 Behold, the noise of the bruit.(a
rumor).is
come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities
of Judah desolate and a den of dragons.
Jeremiah
10:23 O God, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not
in man that walks to direct his steps.
Why
is it not in man to direct his own life?.Proverbs
14:12. So it is important to be in line with the laws the Great Infinite
One made if one is to expect anything:.James
1:6-8. If you're not in
alignment with the good frequencies that come from this invisible energy
we call God, how then can any good be expected?.Luke
11:11-13. Negative
thinking has been limiting one's life and is keeping up a wall, preventing
good energies to come in.(*).

Jeremiah
10:24 God correct me, but with judgment, not
in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.
Correct
me enough so I learn (Hebrews 12:5,6),
not so much that I'm injured and/or close to being wiped out; 'let it be
a thing of the mind God that I see in my meditation'.
Jeremiah
11:3 And say you unto them, Thus says God of Israel; Cursed be the
man that obeys not the words of this covenant,
Speaking
here of the old
covenant,
now
abolished, but it shows God always wants us to latch onto the better
way and the better way is love:.Deuteronomy
5:29; 1John 4:7-16.
Jeremiah
11:4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them
forth out of the land of Egypt, from the
iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice and do them, according to all which
I command you. So shall you be my people and I will be your God.
Jeremiah
11:5 That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers,
to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then
answered I and said, So be it, O Lord.
Jeremiah
11:6 Then God said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities
of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear you the words of
this covenant
and do them.
Jeremiah
11:7 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I
brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early
and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.(*).
Jeremiah
11:8 Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear.(*),
but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart.(Isaiah
30:10). Therefore I will bring upon them all the words
of this
covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.
Jeremiah
44:16,17.
Jeremiah 11:9-12 And God said
unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants
of Jerusalem. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers,
which refused to hear my words and they went after other gods to serve
them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant
which I made with their fathers. Therefore God says, Behold, I will bring
evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape and though they
shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. Then shall the cities
of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto whom
they offer incense, but they shall not save them at all in the time of
their trouble.
Jeremiah
11:9-12 And God said unto me, A conspiracy
is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.(the
principles can be applied anytime in present day history as well, anywhere
they fit). They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers,
which refused to hear my words and they went after other
Gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have
broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. Therefore God says,
Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape
and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.(not
immediately,
but later; people
are here to learn lessons). Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants
of Jerusalem go and cry unto the Gods unto whom they offer incense.(what
are those Gods today but money and power, most often used to maintain selfish
advantage of the few over the many), but they shall not save them
at all in the time of their trouble.
Jeremiah
11:13 For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O
Judah.(they
had concocted
so many
false Gods, because they just didn't want the only true real God in
their lives:.Jeremiah
44:16,17).and according
to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to that
shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
Jeremiah
11:14 Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up a cry
or prayer for them, for I will not hear them in the time that they cry
unto me for their trouble.
Jeremiah
11:17 For the Lord of hosts, that planted you, has pronounced evil
against you, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah,
which.they
have done against themselves.to
provoke me to anger by offering incense unto Baal.
Original
for word 'incense' is 'smoked sacrifice'. They were murdering little children,
burning them. That was their sacrifice to the satanic god they worshiped.
Jeremiah
11:18,19 And God has given me knowledge of it and now I know it. Then
you showed me their doings. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought
to the slaughter and I knew not that they had devised devices against me,
saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof and let us cut him
off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
The
low consciousness of man can be wicked:.Isaiah
32:7; Psalms 10:2,3.
Jeremiah
11:20 But, O God that judges righteously, that tries
the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance
on them, for unto you have I revealed my cause.
Jeremiah
11:21 Therefore thus says God regarding the men of Anathoth that seek
your life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of God or you'll die not by
our hand.
Anathoth
was Jeremiah's birthplace:.Jeremiah
1:1. The people there thought he was nuts and rejected the words of
warning he told them, even threatening to kill him.
Jeremiah
11:22 Therefore thus says God, Behold, I will punish.(original
is 'attend to'; that is, it is an automatic thing that what evil is in
one's mind will come back upon that person amplified to the extent of one's
involvment in evil; it is a mental thing, in that those steeped in evil
ways, have steeped evil ways come back onto them).them.
The young men shall die by the sword and their sons and their daughters
shall die by famine.
Jeremiah
12:1 Righteous are you God, when I plead
with you. Yet let me talk with you of your judgments.(let
me ask you a few questions). Wherefore
does the way of the wicked prosper?.(*).Wherefore
are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
Job
9:24 "The Earth is given into the hand of the wicked..."
Joshua
24:20.
Jeremiah
12:2 You have planted them, yea, they have taken root. They grow, yea,
they bring forth fruit. You are near in their mouth and far from their
reins.
They
knew God (Jeremiah 44:15,16)
but preferred their own low consciousness ways:.Psalms
7:9; Romans 1:21.
Jeremiah
12:3 But you, O God, know me. You have seen me and tried mine heart
toward you. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter and prepare them
for the day of slaughter.
Jeremiah
delivered warnings from God to these people, but regretfully,
this was the result: Jeremiah
44:16,17.
Jeremiah
12:4 How long shall the land mourn and the herbs of every field wither,
for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? The beasts are consumed
and the birds, because they said, He shall not see our last end.
Jeremiah
12:5 If you have run with the footmen and they have wearied you, then
how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou
trustedst, they wearied you, then how will you do in the swelling of Jordan?
Jeremiah
12:6,7 For even thy brethren and the house of your father, even they
have dealt treacherously with you; yea, they have called a multitude after
you. Believe them not, though they speak fair words unto you. I have forsaken
mine house, I have left mine heritage. I have given the dearly beloved
of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
Jeremiah
12:8 My heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest that cries out
against me. Therefore have I hated it.
Jeremiah
12:9 Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about
are against her. Come you, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to
devour.
Jeremiah
12:10 Many pastors
have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they
have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
Jeremiah
12:11 They have made it desolate and being desolate it mourns unto
me. The whole land is made desolate, because no man lays it to heart,
No
one cares what is causing desolation both in people's lives and the environment
supporting humanity and most do nothing to turn it around. What
could be done to turn to God
again?
Jeremiah
12:12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness,
for the sword of the Lord shall devour from the one end of the land even
to the other end of the land and no flesh shall have peace.
Jeremiah
12:13 They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns. They have put themselves
to pain, but shall not profit and they shall be ashamed of your revenues
because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
Maybe
they'll see the reason why their profits are decreasing and turn to God;
how?
why should they turn to God?.Lamentations
3:25 "God is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks
him."
Jeremiah
13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words.(*),
which walk
in the imagination of their heart.(Jeremiah
18:10-12).and walk after
other gods.(which
they did with gusto
and which they do today),
to serve them and to worship
them, shall even be as this girdle,
which is good for nothing.(John
15:5).
Jeremiah
13:16 Give glory
to God, before he causes darkness in front of your feet and you stumble
upon the dark mountains and while you look for light, he turns it into
the shadow of death and makes it thick darkness.
These
things were written for us today:.1Corinthians
10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for examples and they
are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."
Jeremiah
13:17 But if you will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places
for your pride and mine eye shall
weep sore and run down with tears, because God's flock is carried away
captive.
Jeremiah
13:18 Say unto the king and to the queen.(Creator
wants the leaders to wake up), Humble yourselves, sit down,
for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
Jeremiah
13:19 The cities of the south shall be shut up and none shall open
them. Judah shall be carried away captive, all of it, it shall be wholly
carried away captive.
2Chronicles
36:10.
Jeremiah
13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? If
so then you also can do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
Matthew
Henry's Concise Commentary: We cannot
get clear of it by any power of our own. But Almighty grace is able to
change the Ethiopian's skin. Neither natural depravity, nor strong habits
of sin, form an obstacle to the working of God.
In other words,
they just can't change. That's why Christ came to
deal with sin. Otherwise the people just would have no hope on their
own to become spiritual, remaining in the darkeness of their soul:.2Corinthians
3:16. That's why Alcoholics Anonymous introduces the spiritual aspect
to those needing help to get out of the
prison of evil they've been in.
Jeremiah
13:24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away
by the wind of the wilderness.
Jeremiah
13:25 This is your lot.(laws
set up so that you reap what
you have sown), the portion of.(Isaiah
17:14).your measures from
me, says the Lord, because you have forgotten me and trusted in falsehood.
Jeremiah
13:26 Therefore will I discover your skirts upon thy face, that your
shame may appear.
Ashamed
that they were like this and so wanted to hide their faces.
Jeremiah
13:27 I have seen your adulteries and your neighings.(Jeremiah
5:7,8), the lewdness of your whoredom and your abominations
on the
hills in the fields. Woe unto you, O Jerusalem!
Will you not be made clean and if so, when shall that start?
Jeremiah
14:7 God, though our iniquities testifies against us.(how?),
do it for your name's sake.(in
other words, remember that you are gracious and merciful),
for our backslidings are many. We have sinned.
Jeremiah
14:10 Thus says God unto this people, Many of you have loved to wander
and haven't refrained the feet. Because of this God doesn't accept them
and will remember their iniquity and visit their sins.
Jeremiah
14:12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry and when they offer
burnt offerings and an oblation, I will not accept them, but I will consume
them by the sword and by the famine and by the pestilence.
Jeremiah
14:14 Then God said unto me, The prophets prophesy.lies
in my name. I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake
I unto them. They prophesy unto you a false
vision and divination and a thing
of nought and
the deceit of
their heart.
Showing
that these
prophets
were of the false kind.
Jeremiah
14:15 Therefore thus says God concerning the prophets that prophesy
in my name and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not
be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
Jeremiah
14:16-20 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in
the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword and they shall
have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters,
for I will pour their wickedness upon them. Therefore you shall say this
word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day and let
them not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great
breach, with a very grievous blow. If I go forth into the field, then behold
the slain with the sword and if I enter into the city, then behold them
that are sick with famine! Yea, both the prophet and the priest go about
into a land that they know not. Have you utterly rejected Judah? has your
soul lothed Zion? Why have you smitten us and there is no healing for us?
We looked for peace and there is no good and for the time of healing and
behold trouble! We acknowledge, O God, our wickedness and the iniquity
of our fathers, for we have sinned.
Jeremiah
14:21 Do not abhor us, for your name's sake, do not disgrace the throne
of your glory. Remember, break not your covenant with us.
A
covenant is an agreement; God's agreement today is that He has set up multiversal
laws that affect us and all out there in the cosmos
and He changes His plans as
things go along.
Jeremiah
14:22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause
rain or can the heavens give showers? Are not you he, O God? Therefore
we will wait upon you, for you have made all these things.
Jeremiah
15:1 Then said God unto me.(Barnes
Notes: Here begins God's response to Jeremiah's prayer in Jeremiah
14:7 for the people), Though Moses and Samuel stood before
me, yet my mind could not be toward this people. Cast them out of my sight
and let them go forth.
Jeremiah
15:2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall
we go forth? then you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord; Such as are
for death, to death and such as are for the sword, to the sword and such
as are for the famine,
to the famine and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
Some
of you will die naturally, some by the sword, some as a result of famine
and some will go into captivity:.2Chronicles
36:10.
Jeremiah
15:3-5 And I will appoint over them four kinds, says the Lord, the
sword to slay and the dogs to tear and the fowls of the heaven and the
beasts of the Earth, to devour and destroy. And I will cause them to be
removed into all kingdoms of the Earth, because of Manasseh
the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
For who shall have pity upon you, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan
you? or who shall go aside to ask how you do?
Jeremiah
15:6 You have forsaken me, says the Lord, you are gone backward, therefore
will I stretch out my hand against you and destroy you. I am weary with
repenting.
God
was weary with
always changing his mind and then the people would go again and again and
again (?) and
do the same things, never really changing. Never changing because they
didn't
have the heart back then to change. They do today.(Acts
17:30).as
more
of the spirit is made available as the world inches into a higher consciousness.
How to accelerate
it, be rewarded and benefit all of
humanity in the process.
As one aligns with God, God aligns with you. It's a two way street, a two
way street the ancients just never could do on their own. Now we have a
'secret weapon' in the scenario
of good and evil and we can win:.Colossians
1:27 "...Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Jeremiah
15:7 And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will
bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they return not
from their ways.
Romans
1:21.
Jeremiah
15:10 Woe is me my mother, that after having been born I became a man
of strife and
a man of contention
to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury,
nor men have lent to me on usury, yet every one of them curses me.
Barnes
Notes: Relations between moneylenders/moneychangers and the debtor
were a fruitful source of lawsuits and quarreling:.Matthew
21:12.
Jeremiah
15:13 Your substance and your treasures will I give to the spoil
without price and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.
Jeremiah
15:14 And I will make you to pass with your enemies into a land which
you know not, for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon
you.
Jeremiah
15:15 O Lord, you know; remember me and visit me and revenge
me of my persecutors.
Take me not away in your longsuffering.
Know that for your sake I have suffered rebuke.
Jeremiah
15:16 Your words were found and I did eat them and your word was unto
me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart, for I am called by your name, O
Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah
15:17 I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced. I sat
alone because of thy hand, for you have filled me with indignation.
Jeremiah
15:18 Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, which refuses
to be healed? Will you be altogether unto me as a liar and as waters that
fail?
Jeremiah
15:19 Therefore.(because
of how you feel Jeremiah).thus
says the Lord, If you return, then will I bring you again and you shall
stand before me and if you take forth the precious
from the vile.(God
is able to help you inculcate
high consciousness things of life), you shall be as my mouth.
Let them return unto you, but return not you unto them.
Jeremiah
15:20 And I will make you unto this people a fenced brasen.(brass).wall
and they shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail
against you, for I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says the
Lord.
Jeremiah
15:21 And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked and I will
redeem you out of the hand of the terrible..(protection)
Jeremiah
16:1-9 The word of the Lord came also unto me,
saying, You shall not take you a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters
in this place, for thus says the Lord concerning the sons and concerning
the daughters that are born in this place and concerning their mothers
that bare them and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land,
They shall die of grievous deaths. They shall not be lamented,
neither shall they be buried. But they shall be as dung
upon the face of the Earth and they shall be consumed by the sword and
by famine and their carcasses
shall be food for the fowls of heaven and for the beasts of the Earth.
For thus says the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go
to lament nor bemoan
them, for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the Lord, even
lovingkindness and mercies. Both the great and the small shall die in this
land. They shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor
cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them..(pagan.practices.of.mourning.stupidly.adopted
by those God wanted Jeremiah to make a pronouncement
against, which would warn them of the calamity
to come unless their ways changed).Neither
shall men tear.(original
for word 'tear' is 'break bread', that is, have a funeral feast to console
those grieving).themselves
for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead. Neither shall men give
them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
You shall not also go into the house of feasting.(JFB:
'house of feasting' as distinguished
from mourning feasts. Have no more to do with this people whether in mourning
or joyous feasts, was the message),
to sit with them to eat and to drink. For thus says the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your
eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth
and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of
the bride.
Jeremiah
16:10 And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all
these words and they shall say unto you, Wherefore has the Lord pronounced
all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our
sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?
JFB:
'house of feasting' as distinguished from mourning feasts. Have no more
to do with this people whether in mourning or joyous feasts)people of low

consciousness just can't seem to be circumspect
regarding their lives. They often give up on God and do their own thing
(Jeremiah 18:10-12), failing

Jeremiah
16:11 Then shall you say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken
me, says the Lord and have walked after other Gods.(of
which they
adopted many).and have served
them and have worshipped them and have forsaken me and have not kept my

cause them to know mine hand and my might and they shall know that my name
is God.

17:1,2 The sin of Judah
is written with a pen of iron and with the point of a diamond. It is engraven
upon the table of their heart and upon the horns of your altars. While
their children remember their altars and their groves.(original
is 'asherahs').by
the green trees upon the high hills.
The
people in Judah were doing bad at this time, they even left their children
alone amongst the places of idolatry, meaning they probably taught them
about the pagan practices there. No wonder Judah
had captivities.
Jeremiah 17:5 This says God, Cursed be the man that
trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, whose heart has turned aside from
the true God.
An
alternate rendering:.'It
just won't work out happily for those whose strength in life is based on
his or her mental or physical properties'.
Jeremiah
17:5 This says God, Cursed be the man.(evils
increasing).that trusts in man.(and
many did regarding the
covid con).and makes flesh his
arm.(he thinks his strength
lies in the capabilities
of self and friends, in what he regards as his strength, such as money,
as
well as society's organizatons:.Isaiah
33:1; man trusts in so many wrong things
of the physical world {which is how
the ego works, trusting only in what it sees, forgetting the spirit inside
we all have:.1Corinthians
2:11} instead of trusting in that spiritual and invisible world of
the Creator; as long as we don't trust in the Creator, He won't be powerful
on our behalf {Matthew 13:58} and
will keep hiding
from us, for who would want to be around a people as most of us have
been throughout
history).and whose heart has turned
aside.(Jeremiah
8:8,10).from the true God.
So, God decided

Jeremiah 17:6 Destitute in the desert is he, not seeing
when good comes, but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in
a salt land not inhabited.
Jeremiah
17:6 Destitute in the desert is he, not seeing when good comes.(can't
seem to find the way for his life to go better; always on the paths that
lead to dead ends; just misses opportunites for good), but dwells
in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land not inhabited.(feels
alone and can't seem to find the
way out).
Jeremiah 17:7.8 Blessed is the man that trusts in
the Lord and whose hope the Lord is. For he is as a tree planted by the
waters and that spreads out her roots by the river and shall not see when
heat comes, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be careful in the
year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah
17:7.8 Blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord and whose hope the
Lord is. For he is as a tree planted by the waters and that spreads out
her roots by the river and shall not see when heat comes.(protection),
but her leaf shall be green and shall not be careful in the year of drought.(doesn't

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things
and desperately wicked, who can know it?
Jeremiah
17:9 The heart is deceitful.(original
'circumvent',
'crooked', 'devious', 'supplant', 'sly', 'cunnng'; everything it thinks
is for selfish advantage, for such is the low consciousness of humanity
{*}, where his purpose is to
move from that).above all things and
desperately.(original
is 'incapable of being altered'; we are the way we are and stay the way
we are, unless the Creator works out the good in us; man, on his own, is
just too weak spiritually to engage himself toward improvement).wicked.(original
is 'weak', that is, being weak spiritually, he lives a life bouncing about
in the world due to the vicissitudes
of his own nature and the mass
mind), who can know it?
Original for
'who can know it' is 'comprehend', but really meaning to overstand
and, 'know this'. How can one know, that is, comprehend
it in a way that benefit can be gained, in
order to not be like this, that is, with the heart toward things that
gets us in trouble in life? Intuition
is one way..(?)
Jeremiah
17:10 I God search.(Romans
8:27).the
heart, I try
the reins.(Psalms

according to the fruit of his doings.

reaps
what is sown.

gets riches and not by right, shall
leave them in the midst of his days and at his end shall be a
fool.
Jeremiah
17:13 O God, the hope of Israel, all that forsake you shall be ashamed
and they that depart from me.(original
for 'from me shall be written in the Earth', is 'from these warning writings').shall
be written in the Earth, because they have forsaken God, the fountain of
living waters.

Jeremiah
17:20-22 And say unto them, Hear you the word of the Lord, you kings
of Judah and all Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter
in by these gates. Thus says the Lord, Take heed to yourselves and bear
no burden on the sabbath
day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem. Neither carry forth
a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do you any work,
but hallow you the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
